Features
RAW 5014
The raw series is a programme of radiator thermostats which covers all central and district heating systems.
RAW is a self-acting proportional controller with a small P-band.
RAW radiator thermostats are designed for use in 2-pipe domestic heating systems. They are equipped with snap connection.
Thermostatic sensors RAW are manufactured to the highest standards, and are approved to the European standard EN
215.
RAW 5014: Vt = 0,2 K
- Thermostatic valves functioning autonomously without auxiliary power
- With maximum limits stops plant and minimum of the range of adjustment for as a blocking of the adjusting
- High control accuracy and long-term life through a unique system of bellows and gland low friction body valve
- Comfort in heating and very good recovery (energy saving)
RAW 5012
The RAW sensor incorporates a frost protection setting for maximum user flexibility, and provides also the option to limit the temperature range.
The RAW desig is particularly robust, with both End-Stop strength limits and sensor bending force limits being substantially above the requirements of the European Standard EN215.
All Danfoss radiator thermostats are manufactured in factories, assessed and certified by BSI (British Standards Institution) against ISO 9000 and ISO14001.
- Capillary tube of very easy remote probe unwind
- Aesthetic that integrates with any interior (RAL color 9016)
- Wide choice of valve body
- Thermostatic head quick snap ensuring precise and secure mounting
- Theft tab
Ordering and Specifications
1) Xp= 2K (the valve closes at 2 °C higher room temperature)
2)The remote sensor is equipped with 2 m of ultra-thin capillary tube, which is coiled up within the remote sensor housing. After sensor mounting capillary tube is pulled out to the required length.

Setting the Temperature
* = Frost protection setting
Mounting
The required room temperature is set by turning the setting dial. The temperature scales show the correlation between scale values and the room temperature. The temperature values stated are for guidance only as the obtained room temperature
will often be influenced by installation conditions. The temperature scales are stated according to European standards at Xp = 2°C. This means that the radiator thermostats close at a sensor temperature which is 2°C higher than stated on the temperature scales.
Setting the upper and lower limit
The thermostat features two tabs with which the temperature setting area can be decreased. If 4 should be max. setting, turn the thermostat to max. position (3) and press and hold right tab while turning the thermostat to 4 (3), now release tab. With the left tab the lower temperature must be turned to min. position (4).
The mounting of the sensor onto the valve is simply and is carried out without the use of tools. Place the sensor onto the valve and push and it
The snapp ring fixes the sensor automatically onto the valve. The snapp mechnisme is active ex works and ready for mounting.
snaps onto the valve.
Removing the sensor, the ring back is to be turned to activate the mechanisme again.

Theft protecton
Limiting the adjustment range
Once the thermostat is mounted on the valve, push in the theft protection device. The thermostat cannot be removed.
To remove the theft protection use screwdriver 013G1236 and screw into the hole (1). Pulled out until the stop is reached (2). It is now possible to remove the sensor from the valve.
With the help of two built-in limitation buttons can the temperature setting by simply limit above and below.
Example: position 4 as the maximum setting
• adjustment handle (B ) to the left stop
• Keep right limit button pressed (A) and adjustment handle ( B) to " 4 " position.
• Limit button release .
Unauthorized adjustment of the limit settings can be prevented by means of blocking pins ( Accessory no . 013G5199 ).
This can only be removed with the Danfoss special tool ( Order No. 013G1236 ).
