Uninstall/install display of Heavy Duty GD unit

1 Disassembly

Ensure gas-free environment

Disconnect from voltage

Loosen fixation screw pos. 1

Unscrew cover and open it

• Carefully push the white retaining bracket upwards (pos. 1) and

lift the display board slightly

 

• Take the board left and right (pos. 2) with two fingers (NOT BY

 

THE FOIL) and take it out carefully.

 

• Put the display board in a dry, clean and protected place.

Pay attention to ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD)!

2 Assembly

• Hold the display PCB horizontally above the transmitter circuit

board, so that it fits with the hole in the mandrel of the white

 

retaining bracket (pos. 1) and with the two aluminium (pos. 2)

slots in the guide brackets

• Plug the 4-pin female connector strip of the display into the 4-pin male connector strip of the PR-board

• Press evenly and gently until the retaining

Close cover

Tighten fixation screw pos. 1

Connect to voltage

Wait until the LED is green

If the display is not powered when the voltage is connected again, please restart from point 1. Most likely there is no issue with the display but a missing connection of the PIN’s. This can happen whilst assembling the display show in figure 4.

Check the PIN’s on the board before clicking on the display board the second time, see Fig. 4.
