With its advanced and innovative technology, the L-Series by Daikin is one of the most energy
efcient ways to heat or cool your home. Daikin split systems have many economical features,
and one of the largest ranges available offering reliable and exible solutions to suit any
room or house.
Daikin’s 24 hour weekly timer provides a customised 7 day program with the ability to
preset up to 4 settings per day. Furthermore the 3-D airow combines vertical and horizontal
auto swing to circulate warm or cool air throughout large spaces.
Standby power function reduces energy consumption when not in use.
Econo Mode reduces the maximum operating current and power consumption of the outdoor
unit by approximately 30% during start-up. This provides outstanding energy efciency and
convenience when using multiple air conditioners and electrical devices simultaneously.
Intelligent eye reduces power consumption when the air conditioner is operating and no
activity is detected in a room.
Comfort airow mode and 3-D airow circulates air gently to all corners of the room.
SUPERIOR COMFORT
All of Daikin’s L-Series models boast a uniquely designed swing compressor in the outdoor unit which
reduces friction during operation for smoother and quieter rotation with less vibration resulting in a
more durable compressor and an air conditioner that operates efciently.
DC FAN MOTOR
The DC fan motor generates more power while consuming less energy compared to the equivalent
conventional AC motors. This not only results in maximum efciency and lower running costs, but
also minimises the amount of heat wasted from the fan motor in the cooling cycle thereby optimising
the overall efciency of the system.

AIR PURIFYING FILTERS
Approved by the National Asthma Council Australia’s Sensitive Choice program,
Daikin’s L-Series Split Systems combine the air-purifying lters and a titanium apatite
photocatalytic deodorizing lter to trap most microscopic particles, decompose odours
and help absorb and deactivate bacteria and viruses.

THE L-SERIES IS DESIGNED WITH DAIKIN’S INVERTER TECHNOLOGY
Daikin’s inverter technology makes our split systems
more powerful and energy efcient than conventional,
non-inverter models. Conventional air conditioners operate
at a xed speed – all the time, meaning they are using the
same amount of energy while operating. A Daikin inverter
has advanced technology that operates more intelligently
which adjusts the temperature to suit actual requirements.
This works by adjusting the cooling and heating output
in accordance with the temperature in the room. When
the desired temperature is reached, Daikin’s inverter
technology ensures it is constantly maintained – keeping you
comfortable at the same time as running more efciently.
