RECOMMENDED MOUNTING HEIGHTS
Hoods: Bottom of hood should be 30"– 36" from the finished counter.
PowerPacks (with SS Liner): Bottom of liner should be 36" from the finished counter.
OTR (above electric cooking): Top of microwave should be 34" above the finished counter.
OTR (above gas cooking): Top of microwave should be 36" above the finished counter.
(36" mandatory above ERD30 & EGR30)
*In hoods or Powerpacks, if you must install the hood higher than the
recommended height, it is very important that you increase the size (width)
of the hood and the power (CFM) to provide the best possible ventilation.
RECOMMENDED DUCT LENGTHS
DO’S & DONT’S
Elbows & Transitions count extra–you must add to straight run to get the
total duct run. Below are straight run equivalents for the most common:
90°, 8" Round = 7' 45°, 8" Round = 3' 90°, Rectangle = 15'
90°, 10" Round = 5' 45°, 10" Round = 2' 90°, Flat Rectangle Elbow = 20'
