carefully. Learn itsapplications and limitations as well as the specific potential hazards related to this light.
Use only recommended battery pack with your worklight. Any attempt to use another battery pack
will cause damage to your worklight and could possibly explode, cause afire, or personal injury.
Use battery onlywith charger listed.

Remove battery pack from worklight before replac-
ing bulb or performing any routine maintenance or cleaning.
Do notdisassemble your worklight.
Do notplace worklight or battery pack near fire or
heat. Theymay explode,Also, do not disposeof a
wornout batterypack byincinerating.Do not inciner-
ate the battery, even if it isseverelydamaged or com-
pletely wornout. The batterymay explode infire.
Do not store your worklight in a damp or wet
location. Do not store in locations where the
temperature is less than 50°F or more than 100°F.
Do not store in outside sheds or in vehicles.
Do notpermit children to use worklight unsuper- vised. It isnot a toy. The temperatureofthe bulb will
become hot after being on for only a short period of time. This hot temperature can cause burn injury if
touched and can create sufficient heat to melt some fabrics.
If wrapped or in contact with fabrics, the worklight lens can produce sufficient heat to melt some fabrics. To avoid serious personal injury, never allow the worklight lensto come in contact with anything.
Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and benches invite accidents.
Avoid dangerous environments.
Keep light dry, clean, and free from oil andgrease. Always use aclean cloth when cleaning. Never use
brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products or any strong solvent to clean your worklight.
Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use
common sense. Do not rush.
Check damaged parts. Before further use of this worklight, a part that is damaged should be carefully
checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Do not use worklight ifit
does not function properly.
Don't expose worklight to rain. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock or
malfunction.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a worklight. Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattentionwhile
operating power tools may result inserious personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times. Proper footing and balance enable better control of the tool inunexpected situations. Do not use on a ladder or unstable support.
WORKLIGHT USE AND CARE
Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of
moving parts, mounting, and any other conditions that may affect its operation. A part that is dam-
aged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center. Following this rule will
reduce the risk of shock, fire, or serious injury.
Store worklight out of the reach of children and
other untrained persons. Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users,

Tool service must be performed only by qualified
repair personnel. Service or maintenance performed
by unqualified personnel may result ina risk of injury.
When servicing a tool, use only identical replace-
ment parts. Follow instructions in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or
failure to follow Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of shock or injury.

Do not operate worklight or charger near flamma-
ble liquidsor in gaseous or explosive atmospheres.
Internal sparks may ignitefumes.
Lens and bulb become hot during use:
During or immediatelyafter use, don't lay worklight flat on lens surface or place lens area incontact
with a plastic or fabric covered surface.
Handle worklight with care around any flammable surface.
Let worklightcool for several minutes after use
before changing bulb.
Do not use or permit use of worklightin bed or sleeping bags. This worklight lens can melt fabric
and aburn injury could result.
SAFETY RULES FOR BATTERY WORKLIGHTS
Use only the charger recommended for use with your worklight. Do not substitute any other charger.
Use ofanotherchargercould cause batteries to ex- plode causing possible serious injury.
II Your battery tool should be charged in a location
where the temperature is more than 50°F but less than 100°F.
Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery leakage may occur. If liquid comesincontact
with your skin,washimmediatelywithsoap andwater,
then neutralize with lemonjuice or vinegar. If liquid gets
in your eyes,flush them withclean water for at least 10 minutes, then seek immediate medical attention.
Battedes vent hydrogen gas and can explode in
the presence of a source of ignition, such as a pilot
light. To reduce the risk of serious personal iniury, never use any cordless product inthe presence of
open flame. An exploded battery can propel debris and
chemicals. If exposed, flush with water immediately.
Never use a battery pack that has been damaged
or received a sharp blow. A damagedbatterypack is subjectto explosion.Properlydisposeofa damaged
battery pack immediately. Failure to heed this warning can result inserious personal injury.

Before using battery charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings in this manua[, on battery
charger, battery, and product using battery to prevent misuse of the products and possible injury or damage.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to the charger and battery, charge only
nickel-cadmium rechargeable batteries as specifi- cally designated on your charger. Other types of batteries may burst, causing personal injury or damage.
Do not use charger outdoors or exposeto wet or
damp conditions. Water entering charger will increase the riskof electricshock.
Use of an attachment not recommended or sold
bythe battery charger manufacturer may result in a riskof fire, electric shock, or injuryto persons. Followingthisrulewill reduce the riskof electricshock,
fire, orserious personal injury.
Do not abuse cord or charger. Never usethe cord to
carrythe charger.Do not pull thechargercord rather than the plug whendisconnectingfrom receptacle.
Damage to thecord orchargercould occurand create
an electricshock hazard. Replacedamaged cordsim-
mediately.
Make sure cord is located so that it will not be
stepped on,tripped over, come in contact with sharp edges or moving parts or otherwise subject-
ed to damage or stress. Thiswill reducethe riskof accidentalfalls, whichcould cause injury,and damage
to the cord, which couldresult inelectricshock.
Keep cord and charger from heat to prevent
damage to housing or internal parts.
Do not let gasoline, oils, petroleum-based products,
etc. come in contact with plastic parts. They contain chemicalsthat can damage, weaken,or destroy plastic.
An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cord
could result in a risk of fire and electric shock. If
extension cord must be used, make sure: a. That pins on plug of extension cord are the
same number, size and shape as those of plug on charger.
b. That extension cord is properly wired and in
good electrical condition; and
c. That wire size is large enough for AC ampere
rating of charger asspecified below: Cord Length (Feet) 25' 50' 100' Cord Size (AWG) 16 16 16
NOTE: AWG = American Wire Gauge
Do not operate charger with a damaged cord or
plug, whichcould cause shorting and electricshock. If damaged, have the chargerreplacedby an authorized
serviceman.
Do not operate charger if ithas receiveda sharpblow,
been dropped, or otherwisedamagedin anyway.
Take it to an authorizedservicemanfor electrical check to
determineif the chargeris in good working order.
Do notdisassemble charger. Take it to an authorized serviceman when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
Unplug charger from outlet before attempting any
maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Disconnect charger from the power supply when not in use.This willreduce the riskof electricshock
or damage tothe chargerif metal itemsshould fall into the opening.It alsowillhelp prevent damage to the
chargerduringa power surge.
