1. Safety

Warning: Children, pets and onlookers should keep at least 15 metres away from thebrush cutter/grass trimmer
when it is being used. Turn it off immediately if anyone comes closer.

1.1 Product safety symbols and their meaning

Wear protective head gear, protective eyewear/visor and ear defenders.

Wear protective gloves.

Wear safety footwear.

Read theinstruction manual carefully and make sure that you understand its contents
before you use theproduct. Save themanual for future reference.

Stones and other debris can be ejected by thetrimmer.

Do not permit anyone else to come close to thetrimmer when it is in use.
Children, pets and bystanders should keep adistance of at least 15 metres away
from thetrimmer when it is being used.

Do not touch theblade whilst it is rotating.

Only accessories approved for speeds up to 8500 rpm should be used.

Caution! Hot surface. Do not touch.

1.2 Guidelines for safe use

N.B. Switch off theengine before all servicing, adjusting and cleaning of thebrush cutter/grass trimmer.

1. Wear protective footwear, tight-fitting clothes and safety glasses/visor, ear defenders and ahelmet.

2. Never use thebrush cutter/grass trimmer if you are tired, sick, upset or under theinfluence of medication
which causes drowsiness, alcohol or drugs.

3. Always be careful when handling fuel. Open thefuel tank carefully and release any pressure which might
have built up in thetank. Wipe off any spilt fuel and move thebrush cutter/grass trimmer at least 3 metres
away from therefuelling location before starting it.

3a. Remove any sources of ignition, sparks, open flames, smoking, etc. from places where thefuel is mixed,

used or stored.

3b. Do not smoke while fuelling or using thebrush cutter/grass trimmer.

4. Do not permit anyone other than theoperator to come close to thebrush cutter/grass trimmer when it is
being started or used. Children, pets and bystanders should keep adistance of at least 15 metres away
from thebrush cutter/grass trimmer when it is being used.

5. Always hold both handles of thebrush cutter/grass trimmer firmly with your fingers on one side of
the handle and thumb on theother side, once theengine is running.

6. Keep all body parts away from thetrimmer line or brush cutter blade when theengine is running.

7. Make sure that thetrimmer line or cutter blade is not in contact with any object before starting.

8. Only transport thetrimmer with theengine switched off.

9. Always inspect thebrush cutter/grass trimmer before starting, do not start it if there are worn, damaged
or missing parts. Never use thebrush cutter/grass trimmer if it is damaged, incorrectly adjusted or
incorrectly assembled.

10. All service other than that mentioned in this instruction manual should be carried out by qualified personnel.

11. Switch off thebrush cutter/grass trimmer before laying it on theground.

12. Be extra vigilant when cutting small bushes or thick grass, it can get stuck in thetrimmer head.

13. Keep thehandles clean, dry and free from oil or fuel.

14. Only use thetrimmer outdoors or in well ventilated areas. Never start thetrimmer in aclosed room
or building. Exhaust fumes are dangerous to inhale. They contain carbon monoxide.

15. Avoid moving thetrimmer head close to small objects which can be thrown about. Check that there are
no small stones, shards or glass, etc in thearea to be trimmed before starting work.

16. Always stand below thetrimmer if you are using it on aslope. NEVER use thetrimmer on aslope if there is
theslightest risk of you losing your footing, falling or sliding. Keep hold of both handles.

17. Keep thebrush cutter/grass trimmer free from grass cuttings and other deposits, particularly theguard,
trimmer head and engine.

18. The brush cutter/grass trimmer must only be used by adults who have read theinstruction manual.

19. Only use two-stroke engine fuel with amixture of 2 % good quality two-stroke oil (50:1) intended for
air-cooled two-stroke engines. Using petrol without oil mixed in will cause engine damage that is not
covered by theguarantee.

20. Do not use thebrush cutter/grass trimmer without thesilencer or silencer cover.

21. Hold both handles of thebrush cutter/grass trimmer firmly, with your fingers on one side of thehandle and
thumb on theother.

22. The silencer can become very hot. Do not touch it with your hands or other parts of you body.

23. The trimmer head must not be raised during use. The trimmer line can injure theoperator, work as close to
theground as possible.

24. The brush cutter/grass trimmer must not be used for any other purpose than for clearing brushwood and
trimming lawns and gardens.

25. The brush cutter/grass trimmer must not be used if theguard is damaged or missing.

26. This product must not be altered or used for other tasks, therisk of accidents will increase and
theguarantee will not be valid.

27. Do not use thebrush cutter/grass trimmer close to flammable gases and liquids; this could cause afire
or anexplosion.

5. Assembly

5.1 Assembling the handle

ENGLISH

1. Remove thescrews from thehandle bracket attached to theshaft.

2. Attach thehandle to thebracket so that theright-hand side (with thethrottle) is as close to theshaft
as possible.

3. Loosely screw in thefour handle screws.

4. Fine-adjustments to thehandle position should be made when therest of theassembly is completed.

5.2 Attaching the blade guard/trimmer guard

The guard consists of two parts: blade guard and trimmer guard.

• The inner, blade guard must always be attached when using
thebrush cutter blade.

• The outer, trimmer guard (together with theinner blade guard)
must always be attached when using thetrimmer head.

1. Attach theblade guard (2) to thebracket using thesupplied
nuts, bolts and washers.

2. Attach thetrimmer guard (16) to theblade guard using
thesupplied nuts, bolts and washers.

Warning: The trimmer guard must be assembled correctly to protect theoperator and to limit thelength of
thetrimmer line, there is acutter on theguard that cuts theline to theright length.

5.3 Double shoulder harness

Use theharness as follows:

1. Put theharness on so that thetrimmer hanging clip is on theright-hand side and thequick release
tab is on your chest.

2. Hold thetrimmer on your right-hand side and hook it onto theclip.

3. Adjust theharness so that thetrimmer is balanced. Adjust thehandle if necessary.

• When using thegrass trimmer, theharness should be adjusted so that thetrimmer head hangs 0–300 mm
over theground.

• When using thebrush cutter, theharness should be adjusted so that thebrush blade hangs 100–300 mm
over theground.

5.4 Attaching the blade/trimmer head

Caution! The brush cutter/grass trimmer must only be used with anylon trimmer line or afour–bladed brush
cutter blade. No other types of cutting attachments may be used.

5.5 Attaching the trimmer head

1. Push theinner flange washer onto thedrive shaft
with theflat side facing outwards. Lock thedrive
shaft by poking thelocking tool (24) through
thehole in theblade guard (attached under
thegearbox) and thehole in thedrive shaft.

2. Screw thetrimmer head on anticlockwise and
tighten it.

3. Make sure that both theblade guard (inner) and
trimmer guard (outer with line cutter) are attached.

5.6 Attaching the brush cutter blade

1. Push theinner flange washer onto thedrive shaft
with theflat side facing outwards. Lock thedrive
shaft by poking thelocking tool (24) through
thehole in theblade guard (attached under
thegearbox) and thehole in thedrive shaft.

2. Fit theblade onto thedrive shaft so that thehole
in thecentre of theblade locates on theprotruding
inner flange washer.

3. Hold theblade in place and fit theouter flange
washer (with theflat side facing theblade).

4. Tighten thenut on thedrive shaft using
theincluded spanner.
Note: The nut has aleft-hand thread).

5. Pass thesplit pin through thehole in thedrive shaft
and open theends to lock thenut.

6. Make sure that theblade is centred and screwed
on tightly.

7. Remove theouter trimmer guard (which theline
cutter is attached to). Remember to reattach
thetrimmer guard if you change back to using
thetrimmer head.

Caution! It is very important that thebrush blade
is centred on theinner flange washer; otherwise
theblade will vibrate and damage theproduct and
might even cause aninjury.

5.7 Assembling the shaft

Unscrew thelocking knob (26), hold in therelease
catch (27) and push thebottom half of theshaft into

thetop half of theshaft. Twist thetwo halves until
thecatch locks and then tighten thelocking knob.

6. Fuel and Lubrication

We recommend that you use apremixed blend of environmentally friendly 2-stroke engine petrol and 2 % oil.
Caution! Petrol is highly flammable. Avoid smoking close to where fuel is handled, do not cause any sparks,

embers or naked flames either. Switch off thebrush cutter/grass trimmer and let it cool before refuelling it.
Refuel outdoors and always move at least 3 metres away from therefuelling site before starting thetrimmer.

Mix petrol (unleaded 95 octane without added ethanol) with agood quality 2-stroke oil intended for air-cooled
2-stroke engines.

Recommended mixture: Petrol/oil 50:1 (2 %).

• The engine is designed to be used with unleaded fuel.

• Use at least an87 octane rated fuel.

• Use unleaded fuel to protect theenvironment and your health.

• Poor quality fuel or oil can damage seals, fuel pipes or thefuel tank.

6.1 Mixing the fuel

N.B. Be precise with themixture.

1. Measure out thepetrol and oil precisely before mixing.

2. Pour asmall amount of thepetrol into aclean fuel can.

3. Pour in all of theoil and agitate thefuel can.

4. Pour in therest of thepetrol and agitate thefuel can for at least aminute. Certain oils do not mix well;
therefore it is important that thefuel can be agitated to mix theoil and petrol. The engine will last longer
if thefuel is well mixed. If thefuel is not mixed properly themixture will be too lean and theengine may
be damaged.

5. Label thefuel can clearly to avoid therisk of misidentification.

6. Fuel containing oil is only intended for 2-stroke engines. Pure petrol is for 4-stroke engines. It is therefore
very important to label fuel containers clearly.

N.B. Do not mix too much fuel; it should be used within one month.
Caution! Only use fuel containing oil for 2-stroke engines, using pure petrol without theaddition of oil will

inevitably cause engine damage which is not covered by theguarantee.

6.2 Filling the fuel tank

1. Unscrew and remove thefuel cap.

2. Fill with fuel until thetank is roughly 80% full.

3. Replace and tighten thefuel cap and wipe up any spilt fuel on or around thegrass trimmer.

Caution!

• Refuel outdoors and on theground.

• Always move at least 3 metres away from therefuelling site before starting thetrimmer.

• Switch off thegrass trimmer and let it cool before refuelling it. Only refuel when you are sure that thefuel
can contains 2-stroke fuel!

7. Starting the Engine

N.B. Pull thestarter handle (8) straight out. If you pull at anangle thestarter cord will rub on thesleeve and soon
wear out. Keep hold of thestarting handle after pulling it and allow it to return slowly. Never let go of thestarting
handle straight after pulling it, it could get tangled or break something on thetrimmer.

Caution! Only start theengine outdoors, in awell-ventilated place; exhaust fumes are poisonous.
N.B. See theTroubleshooting section if thetrimmer doesn’t start after several attempts.

Running in the engine

A new engine should be “run in” by using it at low speed and with low resistance for thefirst few hours.
This will help all themoving parts of theengine to loosen up and mate together better and will ultimately
lengthen theuseful life of theengine.

After theinitial running period theengine can be fully loaded and run at full power. However, do not run
the engine at full throttle for long periods at atime.

7.1 Starting the engine from cold

Cut thetrimmer line to alength of 13 cm before
starting to reduce theload while thetrimmer warms up.

1. Place thegrass trimmer on ahard and
level surface.

2. Press in thetrigger lockout (6) and thetrigger (7),
then press in thethrottle lock (17) on theinside of
thehandle so that thethrottle stays pressed in.

3. Switch theignition switch (5) to I.

4. Lift thechoke lever (13) up to activate thechoke
(close thechoke valve).

5. Pump theprimer pump bulb (9) 10 times (the
primer pump bulb is located on thebottom of
thecarburettor).

6. Pull thestarter handle until you feel some
resistance. Pull thehandle 4 or 5 times gently
but firmly in quick succession (do not pull
thecord thewhole way out on thefirst attempt).

7. As soon as theengine has started or fired,
the choke lever should be lowered to the
“open” position.

8. Let theengine run without any load for
10 seconds once started.

7.2 Starting a warm engine

1. Place thegrass trimmer on ahard and level surface.

2. Press in thetrigger lockout (6) and thetrigger (7), then press in thethrottle lock (9) on theinside of

the handle so that thethrottle stays pressed in.

3. Switch theignition switch (5) to I.

4. The choke lever (13) should be down in theopen position (choke off).

5. Pull thestarter handle gently until you feel some resistance and then pull it rapidly until theengine starts.

7.3 Switching the engine off

Release thethrottle (7) and let theengine revs drop to idling speed, and then push theignition switch (5)
forward to 0.

8. Use

Note!

• Hold thegrass trimmer with both hands.

• Depress thethrottle and let theengine speed up.

• Hold thetrimmer head parallel to theground and sweep thegrass trimmer from side to side whilst slowly
walking forwards. Advance more slowly if thegoing gets heavy.

• Do not move thetrimmer head towards you, always work away from yourself.

• Caution! Remove all objects such as cans, bottles and stones from theground before starting to use
the grass trimmer, otherwise they can be thrown about by thetrimmer line and cause injury or damage
the trimmer.

• Switch off thegrass trimmer at once and check it for damage if you notice that something is ejected or
if thegrass trimmer starts vibrating. Do not operate thegrass trimmer if it has been damaged.

• Note! Allow theengine to reach full speed before starting to cut thegrass, never try to cut grass/brush
at low speed.

• Caution! Never raise thebrush blade/trimmer head above knee-height when it is spinning.

• Caution! Never use metal or plastic coated metal trimmer line, this could cause serious accidents.

8.1 Trimming round trees and bushes

Lean thetrimmer head forward slightly and start trimming from left to right whilst slowly walking around thetree.
Be careful, so thetrimmer line doesn’t cut thebark of thetree or theplants that you want to keep!
If you trim grass close to fences, foundations, rocks, etc; thetrimmer line will soon wear out.

8.2 Preparing the ground (removing all vegetation)

• Angle thetrimmer head approx. 30 degrees to theleft (it is easier if you loosen theloop handle and adjust it).

• Do not do this if there is theslightest risk of something being flung up and injuring people or animals
standing within a30-metre radius.

8.3 Adjusting the trimmer line

Feed out thetrimmer line like this:

1. Run theengine at full speed whilst carrying out points 2–4.

2. Tap thetrimmer head on theground and lift it up again.

3. The line will be fed out automatically.

4. The line will be cut to thecorrect length by thecutter under thetrimmer guard.

5. Switch off theengine and using something like ascrewdriver, clean off any grass and debris from around
the guard and trimmer head, otherwise it could impair thecooling of thedrive shaft.

8.4 Using the 4-tooth brush cutter blade

Use only thesupplied 4-tooth brush cutter blade or anidentical replacement. A saw-toothed clearing
saw blade must not be used.

The 4-tooth blade can be tilted to various angles for cutting brush from around tree trunks.

• Normal use: Use thearc of theblade cutting
circle labelled “A” for normal brush cutting.

• The arc labelled “B” can also be used if
thehandles are held firmly.

• Caution! Never use theblade within arc “C”,
as uncontrolled kickback could occur which
could injure any bystanders or animals within
thedanger zone.

9. Maintenance

Warning: Disconnect thesparkplug lead before carrying out any maintenance.

• Lubricate thepivot after every 25 hours of use:

1. Loosen thehead of thebolt on theside of thegearbox and smear thepivot with some high
temperature grease.

2. Wipe off any excess grease.

3. Tighten thebolt.

• Clean thecooling fins regularly, so theengine is properly cooled.

9.1 Changing the trimmer line

1. Turn thelocking cap (A) clockwise and remove it either by hand or using thesupplied spanner.

2. Remove thespool (B) and thespring (C) from thespindle (D).

3. Remove theexisting trimmer line (H).

4. Cut an8.6 metre length of trimmer line (Ø 2.4 mm). Fold it in themiddle so you end up with two 4.3 metre
lengths. Place thecrease of thefold into one of theslots in thedisc dividing thespool. See fig. A.

5. Wind both ends of theline around thespool clockwise. Hold theline with your fingers while winding to keep
it taut. Stop when about 15 cm of line remains. See fig. B.

6. Press theends of theline into theslots (F) on opposite sides of thespool. See fig. C.

7. Push in thespring (C) on thebottom of thespool (if not already in). Pull theends of theline through
theholes (G) in theside of thehousing (E). See fig. D.

8. Push thespool (B) into thehousing whilst feeding theends of theline through theholes (G). See fig. E.

9. Press thespool (B) in so that thespring becomes compressed. Tug theends of theline, freeing them from
theline slots (F) in thespool.

10. Push theassembled trimmer head securely onto thespindle and hold it in position. Tighten thelocking cap
(A) anti-clockwise (only finger-tight). See fig. F.

11. Cut theends of theline so they are no longer than 13 cm.

9.2 Air filter

Never use thegrass trimmer without anair filter. Clean or replace thefilter if it is damaged or dirty.
Clean theair filter like this:

1. Undo thescrew in theair filter cover that holds on theouter housing.

2. Remove theouter housing and take out thefilter from theinner cover.

3. Wash thefilter with soap and water. Do not use petrol!

4. Squeeze thefilter and let it dry naturally.

5. Replace thefilter and remount thehousing with theopening facing downwards.

6. Make sure that thehousing is secure so that it won’t shake loose.

9.3 Fuel cap/fuel filter

Remove any sources of ignition, sparks, open flames, lit cigarettes, etc. from thearea where thefuel is mixed,
used or stored. Do not smoke while refuelling or using thegrass trimmer.

1. Open thefuel tank carefully and release any pressure which might have built up in thetank.
Wipe off any spillage and pour any remaining fuel into apetrol can.

2. Pull out thefuel line/fuel filter using something like abent wire.

3. Pull out thefuel filter (twisting it abit helps).

4. Insert anew fuel filter. N.B. Never run theengine without afuel filter.

9.4 Adjusting the carburettor

The carburettor has been factory adjusted for optimum power.

9.5 Spark plug

• Type of spark plug: NGK BM6A or Bosch WS8E

• Electrode gap: 0.65 mm

• Tightening torque: 12–15 Nm

9.6 Sharpening the line cutter knife (on the trimmer guard)

1. Remove thecutter from thetrimmer guard.

2. Hold thecutter in avice. Sharpen theblade using aflat file, sharpening in one direction only and making
sure to maintain theoriginal grinding angle.

10. Storage

1. Clean theexterior of thegrass trimmer, guard, trimmer head, spindle, theexternal parts of theengine, etc.

2. Transfer any fuel remaining in thefuel tank to apetrol container.

3. Start theengine when thefuel tank has been emptied.

4. Allow theengine to idle until it cuts out to empty thecarburettor of fuel.

5. Allow theengine to cool for 5 minutes.

6. Use aspark plug socket to remove thespark plug.

7. Pour one teaspoon of pure 2-stroke oil into thecylinder via thespark plug hole, pull thestarter handle slowly
afew times to distribute theoil evenly over theinside of theengine, replace thespark plug.

8. Store thegrass trimmer in adry and well ventilated place.

10.1 Using the trimmer after it has been stored

1. Use aspark plug socket to remove thespark plug.

2. Pull thestarter handle quickly and smoothly afew times to remove thesurplus oil from thecylinder.

3. Clean theelectrodes of thespark plug or replace it with anew one.

4. Tighten thespark plug using aspark plug socket.

5. Fill thefuel tank.

1. Säkerhet

Varning: Barn, husdjur och åskådare skall vara på ett avstånd av minst 15 meter från grästrimmern när
den används. Stäng av omedelbart om någon kommer närmare.

1.1 Produktmärkning med säkerhetssymboler på maskinen

• Använd skyddshjälm, skyddsglasögon/visir och hörselskydd.

• Använd skyddshandskar.

1.2 Säker användning

Obs! Stäng av motorn innan all service, justering och rengöring av grästrimmern.

1. Använd skyddsskor, åtsittande kläder och skyddsglasögon/visir, hörselskydd och hjälm.

2. Använd aldrig grästrimmern om du är trött, sjuk, upprörd eller under påverkan av mediciner som gör dig
trött. Använd inte heller grästrimmern om du är påverkad av alkohol eller droger.

3. Var alltid aktsam vid hantering av bränsle. Öppna tanklocket försiktigt och släpp ut trycket som kan ha
uppkommit i tanken. Torka upp allt spill och flytta sedan grästrimmern minst 3 meter från tankningsplatsen
innan den startas.

3a) Avlägsna alla antändningskällor, gnistor, öppen låga, tobaksrökning etc. från platser där bränsle blandas,

hanteras eller förvaras.

3b) Rök inte under tankning eller under arbete med grästrimmern.

4. Tillåt ingen annan än användaren vara nära grästrimmern vid start eller arbete med den. Barn, husdjur och
åskådare skall vara på ett avstånd av minst 15 meter från grästrimmern när den används.

5. Håll alltid grästrimmern stadigt i båda handtagen med fingrarna på en sida av handtaget och tummen på
andra sidan när motorn är startad.

6. Håll undan alla kroppsdelar från trimmerlina eller slyklinga när motorn går.

7. Kontrollera före start att trimmerlina eller slyklinga inte har kontakt med något föremål.

8. Transportera endast grästrimmern med motorn avstängd.

9. Inspektera alltid grästrimmern innan start, starta den inte om det finns utslitna, saknade eller skadade delar.
Använd aldrig en trimmer som är skadad, feljusterad eller som inte är monterad på rätt sätt.

10. All annan service på grästrimmern än de som nämns i bruksanvisningen ska utföras av kvalificerad personal.

11. Stäng av grästrimmern innan den läggs ner på marken.

12. Var extra uppmärksam när du kapar små buskar eller tjockt gräs som kan fastna i trimmerhuvudet.

13. Håll handtagen rena, torra och fria från olja eller bränsle.

14. Använd grästrimmern endast utomhus eller i väl ventilerade lokaler. Starta den aldrig i ett stängt rum
eller byggnad. Avgaserna är farliga att andas in, de innehåller koloxid.

15. Undvik att föra trimmerhuvudet nära små föremål som kan kastas iväg. Kontrollera om ytan som ska
trimmas har småstenar, glasbitar etc. innan arbetet påbörjas.

16. Stå alltid nedanför trimmern om du använder den på lutande mark. Använd ALDRIG trimmern på lutande
mark om det finns den minsta risk att du tappar fotfästet, ramlar eller glider ner. Håll i båda handtagen.

17. Håll grästrimmern ren från gräsrester och andra beläggningar, speciellt skyddet, trimmerhuvudet
och motorn.

18. Grästrimmern får endast användas av vuxna personer som har läst bruksanvisningen.

19. Använd endast tvåtaktsbränsle med inblandning av 2 % tvåtaktsolja (50:1) avsedd för luftkylda
tvåtaktsmotorer av god kvalitet, användning av bensin utan oljeinblandning leder snabbt till motorskador
som inte omfattas av garantin.

20. Använd inte grästrimmern utan ljuddämpare eller ljuddämparkåpa.

21. Håll i grästrimmerns båda handtag på ett säkert sätt med fingrarna på en sida av handtaget och
tummen på andra sidan.

22. Ljuddämparen blir mycket het, håll undan händer och andra kroppsdelar.

23. Trimmerhuvudet får inte lyftas upp under arbetet eftersom trimmerlinan kan skada användaren.
Arbeta så nära marken som möjligt.

24. Grästrimmern får inte användas till något annat ändamål än röjning av sly, trimning av gräsmattor och
trädgårdar.

25. Grästrimmern får inte användas om skyddet saknas eller är skadat.

26. Produkten får inte ändras och/eller användas för andra arbetsmoment. Risken för olycksfall ökar och
garantin gäller inte.

27. Använd inte grästrimmern i närheten av brännbara gaser och vätskor eftersom det kan leda till brand
eller explosion.

5. Montering

5.1 Montera handtaget

1. Skruva loss skruvarna på handtagsfästet som är monterat på riggröret.

2. Montera handtaget i handtagsfästet så att den högra delen (med gasreglaget)
kommer så nära riggröret som möjligt.

3. Skruva fast de fyra skruvarna löst på handtagsfästet.

4. Justera placeringen av handtaget när all montering är klar.

5.2 Montera kling- och trimmerskydd

Skyddet består av två olika delar: kling- och trimmerskydd.

• Det inre klingskyddet måste alltid vara monterat vid
användning av slyklingan.

• Det yttre trimmerskyddet (tillsammans med det inre
klingskyddet) måste vara monterat vid användning
av trimmerhuvudet.

1. Skruva fast klingskyddet (2) på fästet med bifogade skruvar,
brickor och muttrar.

2. Skruva fast trimmerskyddet (16) på klingskyddet med
bifogade skruvar, brickor och muttrar.

Varning! Trimmerskyddet måste monteras korrekt för att skydda användaren och för att begränsa trimmerlinans
längd, det sitter en kniv i skyddet som skär av linan i rätt längd.

5.3 Dubbelsele

Selen ska användas så här:

1. Sätt på dig selen så att kroken/fästet för trimmern kommer på höger sida och du får
snabbutlösningen av selen på bröstet.

2. Håll trimmern på din högra sida och kroka i den i selens krok/fäste.

3. Justera selen så att trimmern är i balans, justera handtagets placering vid behov.

• Vid användning av trimmerhuvud ska selen balanseras så att trimmerhuvudet befinner sig
mellan 0 och 300 mm över marken.

• Vid användning av slyklinga ska selen balanseras så att slyklingan befinner sig mellan
100 och 300 mm över marken.

5.4 Montera skärutrustning

Varning! Sly- och grästrimmern får endast användas med trimmerhuvud och nylontråd eller fyrbladig slyklinga,
inga andra tillbehör får användas.

5.5 Montera trimmerhuvud

1. Tryck på den inre flänsbrickan på drivaxeln med den
plana sidan utåt. Lås drivaxeln genom att sätta in
verktyget (24) genom hålet i kåpan (som är fäst under
växelhuset) och hålet i drivaxeln.

2. Skruva på trimmerhuvudet moturs och dra åt.

3. Se till att både klingskyddet (det inre) och trimmer­skyddet (det yttre med trådkniven på) är monterat.

5.6 Montera slyklinga

1. Tryck på den inre flänsbrickan på drivaxeln med den
plana sidan utåt. Lås drivaxeln genom att sätta in
verktyget (24) genom hålet i kåpan (som är fäst under
växelhuset) och hålet i drivaxeln.

2. Montera slyklingan på drivaxeln så att klingans
centrumhåll passar på den inre flänsbrickans
upphöjning.

3. Håll fast klingan och montera den yttre flänsbrickan
med den plana sidan mot slyklingan.

4. Dra fast muttern på drivaxeln med den bifogade
universalnyckeln. Obs! Muttern är vänstergängad.

5. Sätt i den bifogade saxsprinten i hålet på drivaxeln och
vik ut den för att säkra muttern.

6. Kontrollera att slyklingan är centrerad och sitter fast.

7. Ta bort den yttre delen, d.v.s trimmerskyddet som
trådkniven är monterad på. Kom ihåg att sätta tillbaka
trimmerskyddet vid byte till trimmerhuvud.

Varning! Slyklingan måste vara centrerad på den inre fläns­brickan, annars kan det leda till personskada eller skada på
produkten.

5.7 Sätt ihop riggröret

Öppna låsratten (26), håll ner spärren (27) och
tryck in den undre delen av riggröret i den övre
delen. Vrid delarna något så att spärren låser
riggrören och dra åt låsratten.

6. Bränsle och smörjning

Vi rekommenderar användning av färdigblandad 2-takts miljöbensin med 2 % oljeinblandning.
Varning! Bensin är mycket eldfarligt. Undvik att röka i närheten där bränsle hanteras, medför inte heller någon

öppen låga, glöd eller gnistor. Stäng av grästrimmern och låt den kallna innan den tankas. Var utomhus vid
tankning och flytta alltid minst 3 meter från tankningsplatsen innan grästrimmern startas.

Blanda bensin (blyfri 95 oktan utan etanoltillsats) med en 2-taktsolja av god kvalitet som är avsedd för
luftkylda tvåtaktsmotorer.

Rekommenderat blandningsförhållande: bensin/olja 50:1 (2 %).

• Motorn är konstruerad för att användas med blyfritt bränsle.

• Använd bränsle med minst 87 oktan.

• Använd blyfritt bränsle för att skydda miljön och din hälsa.

• Bränsle eller olja av dålig kvalitet kan skada tätningar, bränsleledningar eller bränsletank.

6.1 Blanda bränsle

Obs! Var noga med blandningen.

1. Mät noga upp bensin och olja innan blandning.

2. Häll i lite bensin i en ren dunk som är godkänd för bränsle.

3. Häll i all oljan och skaka dunken.

4. Häll i resten av bensinen och skaka dunken i minst en minut. Vissa oljor är svåra att blanda, därför är det
viktigt att skaka dunken så att olja och bensin blandas. Motorn håller längre om bränslet är välblandat.
Om bränslet inte är rätt blandat kan motorn gå på för mager blandning med större risk för motorskador.

5. Märk dunken så att inga missförstånd om innehållet kan uppkomma.

6. Oljeblandat bränsle är endast avsett för tvåtaktsmotorer, och ren bensin för fyrtaktsmotorer, därför är det
mycket viktigt att märka upp bränsledunkarna.

Obs! Blanda inte för mycket bränsle, det bör användas inom en månad.
Varning! Använd endast oljeblandat bränsle för tvåtaktsmotorer, Användning av ren bensin utan inblandad olja

leder mycket snabbt till motorskador som inte täcks av garantin.

6.2 Fyll på bränsle

1. Skruva upp, och ta bort påfyllningslocket.

2. Fyll på bränsle till ca 80 % av tankens rymd.

3. Skruva fast tanklocket så att det sitter säkert och torka upp ev. bränslespill på och omkring trimmern.

Varning!

• Var utomhus på marken vid tankning.

• Flytta alltid minst 3 meter från tankningsplatsen innan trimmern startas.

• Stäng av trimmern och låt den kallna innan den tankas. Tanka endast om du är helt säker på att dunken
innehåller tvåtaktsbränsle!
