1. General safety instructions
Warning! Read all the instructions. If the instructions below are not followed, this might result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury. The term “electric tool” in the warning text below refers to mains-operated
or battery operated tools.
Working area
a) Keep the working space clean and well lit. Dark, cluttered spaces are accidents waiting to happen.
b) Do not use electric tools in explosive environments, e.g. near inflammable liquids, gases or dust.
Electric tools generate sparks which can ignite dust or vapours.
c) Keep children and onlookers out of the way while using the electric tool. Distractions might cause you
to lose control.
Electrical safety
a) The electric tool plug must fit into the socket. Never modify the plug in any way. Never use an adapter
together with earthed electric tools. Unmodified plugs and matching sockets decrease the risk of
electric shock.
b) Avoid physical contact with earthed objects such as pipes, radiators, kitchen cookers and fridges. There
is an increased risk for an electric shock if your body is earthed.
c) Do not expose the electric tool to rain or wet environments. If water gets into an electric tool it increases
the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not manhandle the power cable. Never use the power cable to carry the tool and never wrench or
tug the plug from the socket. Keep the power cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
Damaged or tangled power cables increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When using an electric tool outdoors use the appropriate extension. Using an extension which is meant
for outdoor use decreases the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
a) Pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense when using an electric tool. Do not use an
electric tool if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medicine. A momentary lapse in
concentration when using an electric tool can result in serious personal injury.
b) Use protective equipment. Always wear safety goggles. Using protective equipment such as respiratory
protective equipment, non-slip safety boots, helmet and ear protectors where necessary decreases the
risk of injury.
c) Avoid starting the tool by accident. Ensure that the switch is in the “OFF” position before connecting the
plug to the socket. Carrying an electric tool with a finger on the switch/trigger or connecting an electric
tool to the mains when the switch is in the “ON” position is an accident waiting to happen.
d) Remove all service tools/keys before switching on the electric tool. A forgotten service tool on a rotating
part of the electric tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Ensure that your stance is good and well-balanced all the time. This gives you better
control in unexpected situations.
f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothes and gloves away
from moving parts. Long hair, loose clothing or jewellery can get caught in moving parts.

Electric tool use and maintenance.
a) Do not force the electric tool. Use an electric tool which is suitable for the work being carried out. The
correct electric tool carries out the work better and safer at the intended rate of feed.
b) Do not use the electric tool if the switch is broken. All electric tools which cannot be controlled using the
switch are dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out adjustments, changing attachments or storing the
electric tool. These preventative measures decrease the risk of starting the electric tool by accident.
d) Store electric tools which are not being used out of the reach of children and do not let anyone who
is not acquainted with the electric tool or these instructions use it. Electric tools are dangerous in the
hands of inexperienced users.
e) Electric tool maintenance. Check to see if anything is wrongly set, if moving parts jam, if parts have
broken or if something else can influence the operation of the electric tool. If something is damaged it
must be repaired before use. Many accidents happen because of poor maintenance.
f) Keep the tools clean and sharp. Cutting tools with sharp blades which are properly maintained are less
likely to jam and are easier to check.
g) For electric tools, attachments etc. follow the instructions carefully. Only use the particular tool
in a correct manner for its specific purpose taking the working conditions and kind of work into
consideration. The use of the electric tool for work other than it was intended for can result in a
dangerous situation.

a) Let qualified staff, using only original spare parts, carry out service and repairs. This guarantees that the
safety of the electric tool is maintained.
2. Specific safety regulations for Leaf Blower/Vacuums
1. Never let children or pets be around when the leaf blower is used.
2. Never use the leaf blower if any part of the guard is missing or damaged.
3. Ensure that the cable is directed away from the machine during use.
4. The machine must only be used by adults who have read the manual.
5. Never place your hands or feet next to the leaf blower air intake or exhaust when the motor is started.
6. Always disconnect the leaf blower when not in use.
7. Always disconnect the leaf blower during service or when adjustments are being made.
8. Keep the cooling intakes clean and free from grass and leaves.
9. Keep the leaf blower out of the reach of children!
10. Always carry the leaf blower by its handle, never by the cable.
11. Connect the leaf blower to the mains via an earth fault breaker!
12. Switch off the leaf blower and disconnect the plug:
• If the machine starts to vibrate vigorously, check to see if anything is damaged or loose.
• Before cleaning fan and blow/vac tube, cleaning/emptying or service.
• Always when you take a pause from work or leave the leaf blower out of sight.
13. Disconnect the plug immediately if the extension is damaged. Do not touch the extension, only the plug.
14. Use only original spare parts!
15. Do not drag the extension through water or damp grass. Check often that the extension is undamaged.
16. Only use the leaf blower in daylight.
17. Walk around with the leaf blower during use and ensure that your stance is well-balanced and do not
run!
18. Check regularly that all screws and nuts are properly tightened!
19. The user is responsible for injury or damage caused to people or property.

Leaf blowing
20. The air current can cause objects to be blown away, causing personal injury.
21. Do not aim the leaf blower air current towards people or animals!

23. Do not use the leaf blower near people or animals.
24. Pay special attention when blowing on stairs or other places with sharp corners and edges!
25. Use safety goggles or a visor, ear protectors, suitable clothing and shoes.
Leaf vacuuming
26. Do not use the product as a leaf vacuum if the leaf sack is not assembled and closed.
27. Do not suck up sharp, pointy or hard objects such as stones, nails etc. which can cause the leaf sack
to rip.
28. Only suck up soft objects such as leaves, grass etc. as hard objects can damage the fan impeller.
29. Switch off and disconnect the plug if the machine starts to vibrate!
30. Check the leaf sack regularly. Change the sack if it is damaged! (Use original attachments).
3. Product markings and warning symbols
1. Warning! If you avoid reading and considering this it may cause
serious injury, accidents or lead to the product being damaged.
2. Always disconnect the plug from the socket before cleaning and
adjusting the product.
3. Do not use the machine in the rain or in other damp environments.

Warning! Never use the leaf blower without blow/vac tube and leaf sack.
Warning! Ensure that the leaf blower is switched off and that the plug is disconnected before assembly.
1. Connect the blow/vac tube parts by pressing them together.
2. Unscrew the four screws at the motor housing opening.
3. Insert the blow/vac tube in the motor housing opening until the screw holes in the blow/vac tube are
aligned with the motor housing holes.
4. Tighten the screws in the motor housing to lock the blow/vac tube into place.
5. Assemble the leaf sack on the motor housing: Press the leaf sack opening onto the motor housing
exhaust and turn the bayonet catch which will lock the parts together. Connect the leaf sack suspension
loop to the holder on the blow/vac tube.
6. Preparation before use
Connect the extension so that it cannot be disconnected by mistake! When necessary use an extension for
outdoor use with a sufficient conductive area (min.1,5 mm²). Roll out the entire extension! Check that the leaf
sack is assembled correctly and that the shoulder strap is adjusted to facilitate the use of the leaf blower.
Before starting ALWAYS check:
• That you are wearing safety goggles or visor, ear protectors, suitable clothing and shoes. Respiratory
protective equipment may be needed if working in a dusty environment!
• That the leaf sack and blow/vac tube are assembled and that the machine casing is whole and
undamaged.
• That the cable is undamaged.

7. Starting and stopping
The switch has two settings: Back “0” (Switched off) and Forward “1” (Switched on).

8. User tips
• The leaf blower must not be aimed at the ground or at people when the motor is started.
• Blow/vac only dry grass/leaves!
• Hold the leaf blower with both your hands!
• Do not aim the air current towards cars or other objects which are painted or have a sensitive surface
coat.
• Take care that the air current does not damage tree bark or plants which you plan to keep!
• When necessary use a rake or similar tool to loosen the leaves from the ground before using the leaf
blower.
• Check often that the motor cooling intakes are open. Remove leaves and other objects that are blocking
the openings to prevent the motor from overheating.
• Switch off the leaf blower, disconnect the plug and empty the leaf sack (do not leave the leaves in the
sack until the next time!) Remove the leaf sack, turn it inside out and shake until empty. Wash the leaf
sack annually (hand wash using a mild detergent and let it air-dry).
8.2 Leaf blowing
1. Turn the switch anti clockwise to the setting “Blow”.
2. Switch the motor on.
3. How to work: Blow the leaves in front of you into a pile. It is also possible to blow leaves from places
which are hard to reach.
Please note! The switch must always be in one of its two positions and not somewhere in between.

8.3 Leaf vacuuming
Warning! Do not suck up water, pieces of glass, metal, hard objects, ash or embers as this might injure/damage the user/machine.

1. Turn the switch clockwise to the setting “Vacuum”.
2. Hold the leaf vacuum approx. 5 cm above the leaves which are to be removed.
3. Switch the motor on.
4. How to work: Swing the leaf vacuum, move forwards and swing again etc. Do not move too far forward
if the machine starts to become heavy!

5. Remove the leaf sack and empty.
• When the leaf sack is full the suction decreases significantly and the leaf sack must be emptied:
Switch off the leaf vacuum and disconnect the plug. Then remove the leaf sack, turn it inside out
and shake until empty before replacing it.
• Ensure that the blow/vac tube or fan is not blocked by leaves if the suction decreases even if the
leaf sack is not full. How to clean the blow/vac tube or fan:
1. Switch off the Leaf blower and disconnect the plug and let the fan come to a complete stop.
2. Disassemble the blow/vac tube and leaf sack
3. Remove the blockage carefully and check that fan impellers and other parts are undamaged.
4. Turn the fan impeller carefully by hand to ensure that it can rotate freely.
5. Assemble the blow/vac tube and leaf sack.
9. Maintenance
Warning! Ensure that the leaf blower is switched off and that the plug is disconnected before starting!
• Clean the cooling intakes regularly using a soft brush so that the motor will not overheat.
• Disconnect the blow/vac tube and clean the fan impeller regularly using a soft brush or cloth. Ensure
that the impeller is undamaged!
• Store the machine indoors where it is dry and cool and out of the reach of children!

• Clean the casing using a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use strong cleaning agents or
solvents as these might damage the leaf blower.
• If the machine starts to vibrate during use, switch off immediately and disconnect the plug. This points
to a mechanical fault which could pose a danger to the user.

d) Misshandla inte nätsladden. Använd aldrig nätsladden för att bära, dra eller rycka stickproppen ur

Personlig säkerhet

serviceverktyg på en roterande del av det elektriska handverktyget kan reslutera i personskada.
e) Sträck dig inte för långt. Se till att du står stadigt med god balans hela tiden. Detta möjliggör bättre
kontroll i oväntade situationer.
f) Bär lämplig klädsel. Bär inte löst sittande kläder eller smycken. Håll hår, kläder och handskar undan från
rörliga delar. Lösa kläder, smycken eller långt hår kan fastna i rörliga delar.

Användning och underhåll av det elektriska handverktyget.
a) Pressa inte det elektriska handverktyget. Använd ett elektriskt handverktyg som är avsett för det
arbetsmoment du utför. Korrekt elektriskt handverktyg gör jobbet bättre och säkrare med avsedd
matningshastighet.
b) Använd inte det elektriska handverktyget om strömbrytaren inte slår på och stänger av verktyget. Alla
elektriska handverktyg som inte kan kontrolleras med strömbrytaren är farliga och måste repareras.
c) Tag stickproppen ur vägguttaget innan du utför några justeringar, byter tillbehör eller lägger undan det
elektriska handverktyget för förvaring. Dessa åtgärder i förebyggande syfte minskar risken för att starta
det elektriska handverktyget oavsiktligt.
d) Förvara elektriska handverktyg som inte används utom räckhåll för barn och låt inte personer som

ämnat för just den typen av elektriskt handverktyg, och ta även hänsyn till arbetsförhållandena och den
typ av arbete som ska utföras. Användning av det elektriska handverktyget för arbeten andra än vad det
är ämnat för kan resultera i en farlig situation.

6. Dra alltid ur stickproppen om du lämnar lövsugen obevakad.
7. Dra alltid ut nätsladdens stickpropp ur eluttaget vid service och justering av lövsugen.
8. Håll rent runt motorns kylluftsöppningar, ta bort gräs och löv.
9. Förvara lövsugen utom räckhåll för barn!
10. Bär lövsugen i handtagen, aldrig i sladden.
11. Anslut lövsugen till elnätet via en jordfelsbrytare!
12. Stäng av lövsugen och dra ur stickproppen:
• Om maskinen börjar vibrera kraftigt, kontrollera om något är skadat eller sitter löst!
• Innan rensning av fläkt och blås/sugrör, rengöring/tömning eller service.
• Alltid när du gör uppehåll i arbetet eller lämnar lövsugen utom synhåll.
13. Dra ur stickproppen direkt om skarvsladden skadas, rör inte sladden, håll endast i stickproppen!
14. Använd endast original reservdelar!
15. Dra inte skarvsladden genom vatten eller fuktigt gräs, kontrollera ofta att skarvsladden är hel och
oskadad!
16. Använd lövsugen endast i dagsljus.
