IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read, understand, and comply with all the instructions provided in this manual
before using the device. Failure to comply with the instructions given in this manual
and/or using the device in ways other than the ones mentioned in this manual may
result in serious injury and/or damage to the product.

SAFETY USE & CARE:

• DO NOT wash the press pot while still hot.

• DO NOT use over fire or direct heat.

• Supervise when near children.

• DO NOT place french press on stovetop for boiling. Doing so may damage the
product and scalding may occur.

• Avoid hitting or scratching the glass pot with spoons or metallic objects.

• DO NOT touch the glass pot with bare hands when brewing coffee or tea. Always
hold the french press by its handle.

• If storing for a long period of time, wash and dry thoroughly, and store in a covered
space

OPERATION

1. Remove plunger along with mesh
filter. Making sure they are clean
before each use.

2. Add the required amount of
coarse-ground coffee so it does
not pass through the filter. The
general rule is 1 teaspoon of
coffee for every 4 ounce cup.

3. Pour hot water into the pot,
leaving 1 inch of space from the
top of the beaker. You can use the
top of the handle as a reference
point.

NOTE: DO NOT use boiling water.

4. With a small plastic or wooden
spoon, stir the coffee into the
water. Using metal utensils may
damage the pot.

5. Once coffee is evenly mixed,
place the lid and plunger back on
the pot and let the coffee sit for 3
to 4 minutes.

6. After 3 to 4 minutes, gently press
the plunger down to extract
coffee. For best taste, serve
immediately or store in a thermos
to enjoy later.

NOTE: To avoid coffee ground
leakage when pressing, make sure
to insert the plunger properly in a
straight and upright angle.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

• DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or steel brushes.

• DO NOT wash the press pot while still hot.

• Wash the press using detergent and and warm water.

• Dry the press using a dry, clean cloth.

• The plunger and filter can be taken apart and cleaned by unscrewing the cross plate
counterclockwise. (see Plunger Assembly)

• When putting the plunger back together, filters should face upward.

WARRANTY

Policy & Terms

Cosori warrants all products to be of the highest quality in material, craftsmanship and service for a
minimum of 1 year, effective from the date of purchase. Warranty lengths may vary between product
categories. Cosori will replace any product found to be defective due to manufacturer flaws based
on eligibility; refunds are available within the first 30 days of purchase. This warranty extends only to
personal use and does not extend to any product that has been used for commercial, rental, or any
other use in which the product is not intended for. There are no warranties other than the warranties
expressly set forth with each product.
This warranty is non-transferrable. Cosori is not responsible in any way for any damages, losses or
inconveniences caused by equipment failure or by user negligence, abuse, or use noncompliant with
the user manual or any additional safety use or warnings included in the product packaging and
manual.

This warranty does not apply to the following:

• Damage due to abuse, accident, alteration, misuse, tampering or vandalism.

• Improper or inadequate maintenance.

• Damage in return transit.

• Unsupervised use by children under 18 years of age.

Cosori and its subsidiaries assume no liability for damage caused by the use of the product other
than for its intended use or as instructed in the user manual. Some states do not allow this exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential losses so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from
state to state.

ALL EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY, ARE LIMITED TO THE PERIOD OF THE LI MITE D WARRANTY.

Should your product prove defective within the specified warranty period, please return the defective
unit in its original packaging with (1) an original copy of the invoice, (2) your order confirmation
number, (3) and your warranty ID number.
