#335 FLOATING CHLORINE/BROMINE
TM
DISPENSER
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Remove bottom adjustment tube from dispenser (turn counter-clockwise to remove).
2. Fill top dispenser tube with Tri-Chloro tabs or Bromine tabs or sticks (slow dissolving type). WARNING! NEVER MIX TRI-CHLORO WITH BROMINE OR ANY OTHER CHEMICALS.
3. Replace bottom adjustment tube and adjust to the desired setting (see feed setting table) and secure with lock ring.
4. Turn adjustment tube up (low numbers) for less feed rate and down for higher numbers (greater feed rate). Feed rate is calibrated at bottom of lock ring.
5. For greater feed rate, fill dispenser with tabs and push completely under water and invert. Allow air to escape from dispenser then return dispenser to the normal, upright operating position. This procedure exposes more tabs to water.
Note: For large volumes of water and/or when the dispenser is operating in the extended position (higher numbers) the adjustment tube may also be filled with tablets for a longer operation cycle and greater feed rate.
The water in a newly filled spa or hot tub should be properly conditioned to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Rainbow Lifegard Floating Dispenser. Consult your local dealer for water conditioning information in your area.
Refer to the Chemical* container for recommended Chemical* residual. Use a test kit such as the Rainbow Lifegard #752 to determine chlorine residual or the #756 for Bromine.
Note (*) Chemical indicates either Bromine or Chlorine. Note: Sunlight, rainfall, water temperature, number of bathers and frequency
of Spa/Hot tub use affect the rate of chemical* depletion. Under these conditions, it may be necessary to adjust the dispenser to a higher feed setting.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORY LEASH (P/N R221270) - Prevents floating items
from hanging up or drifting away. Has 36-inch cord and molded anchor plate with pressure sensitive pad to adhere to most surfaces.
STRAINER INSTALLATION (Optional):
Remove bottom adjustment tube. Slide strainer over top of adjustment tube and
re-install.
SOME SPA MANUFACTURERS RECOMMEND ONLY BROMINE IS TO BE USED IN THEIR SPAS. CONSULT YOUR SPA MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY FOR PROPER DIRECTIONS
