IPDS Emulation
The following is the description of the printer IPDS specific menu items.
These items appear only, when the Ethernet interface board option is installed in the printer.
The Printers uses the IPDS data stream (default setting) as well as the ASCII data stream.
To change the data stream, access the Power On Configuration and scroll the items up to LAN
INTERFACE item (see the User Manual for details).

Selects the Data Stream parameter to the following values:

The IPDS emulation menu items have been included in the four user macros. To select the
IPDS items, access the Program Setup, select the User Macro and scroll the items up to
Vertical Character Tuning (see User Manual for details).

These items set the horizontal spacing in characters per inch. The default value is 10 CPI.

I-FLEN 66 LINES
The Right Margin is set in number of characters (depending on the current pitch) the
printer prints on a line. The default value is 132. The Right Margin and the CPI settings
determine the length of the print line. The maximum line length is 13.6 inches.
