INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Introduction

The DTH880 mounts easily on walls or sits on flat surfaces using its
built-in easel stand. Use the DTH880 at home or business. Ideal for use
in computer rooms, laundry rooms, shops, offices and greenhouses.

Features include

• Temperature in ˚D or ˚C (32 to 122˚F/0 to 50˚C)

• 25 to 95% relative humidity (RH)

• Comfort zone indicator

• Displays relative humidity and temperature at the same time

• MIN/MAX record

• Data hold

C o n t rols and Indicators

1. ˚C/˚F Function: This button switches between ˚C and ˚F.

2. Hold Function: Holds the measurement on the display.

3. Comfort Zone: A “COMFORT” indicator is displayed when

temperature is between 62.2˚ and 70.6˚F (18˚ and 22˚C) and RH is
between 45% and 65%.

Operating Instructions

Record Function

1. Press the “MIN/MAX” button to display minimum temperature

and RH.

2. Press the button again to display maximum temperature and RH.

3. Press the button a third time, will display current temperature
and RH.

4. Press the “CLR” button to clear minimum and maximum records.
The LCD will display MIN and MAX simultaneously for about
1 second.

Cleaning

Periodically clean your instruments case using a damp cloth. DO NOT
use abrasive, flammable liquids, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents
as they may damage the finish, impair safety, or affect the reliability of
the structural components.

Battery Replacement

Replace the battery when “BAT” is displayed.

1. Remove the two screws from back cover to remove the cover.

2. Check polarity when replacing battery.

NOTE: Occasionally, an irregular display may appear after
replacing the battery. Simply re-install the battery and the unit will
resume normal operation.

Limited Warranty

The DTH880 is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of one year from the date of purchase. If within the warra n ty period your instrument should
become inoperative from such defects, the unit will be repaired or replaced at UEi’s option.
This warra n ty covers normal use and does not cover damage which occurs in shipment or
failure which results from alteration, tampering, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect or improper
maintenance. Batteries and consequential damage resulting from failed batteries are not
covered by warra n ty.

Any implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the express warranty. UEi shall not be
liable for loss of use of the instrument or other incidental or consequential damages,
expenses, or economic loss, or for any claim or claims for such damage, expenses or
economic loss. A purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase date will be required
before warra n ty repairs will be rendered. Instruments out of warra n ty will be repaired (when
r e p a i r able) for a service charge. Return the unit postage paid and insured to:
