Safety guidelines
Caution!
To avoid risk of exposure to harmful microwaves:
• The microwave oven should not be used if thedoor or frame have been damaged.
• The microwave oven should only be repaired by skilled and qualified service personnel.
• Never open frame! Dangerous live voltage on certain exposed components inside! Risk of electric shock
oncontact!
• The microwave oven should never be modified or taken apart.
• Never heat drinks or other foods in closed containers as they may explode.
• The microwave oven should not be used by children without adult supervision if they have not been
instructed on how to use theoven properly.
• Make sure there is enough free space around theoven so that no air intake or air exhaust is blocked.
• Use only dishes suitable for use in amicrowave oven.
• Never leave themicrowave oven unattended when heating food in plastic or paper packaging as there is
arisk thepackaging might ignite.

• If smoke is detected switch off theoven immediately or pull out theplug. Leave thedoor closed to smother
any flames.
• Always shake or stir thecontent of baby bottles and similar containers before serving. Always check
thetemperature of thecontents before serving to prevent burns.
• Unshelled and hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in themicrowave oven as they might explode
evenafter being heated.
• Bear in mind that dishes may be hot when you take them out after heating food in them in themicrowave
oven. Always use apotholder or other protection so you do not burn yourself.
• Place themicrowave oven on adry and even surface.
• Do not place theoven where it could fall into water or some other liquid.
• Make sure themains voltage is 230 V and that thesocket to which you connect themicrowave oven is earthed.
• Do not place themicrowave oven and its electric cord where it could be bumped or jarred suddenly.
• Make sure thecord does not come in contact with hot surfaces – e.g., ahot cooker plate.
• Do not use themicrowave oven if thecord or electric plug is damaged. Clean theoven regularly.
Take care to remove any food remains.
• Always pull theplug from thewall socket before you clean theoven.
• The microwave oven should be used and kept indoors only.
• Never start themicrowave oven when it is empty. Sparks may be produced and theoven may be
seriouslydamaged.

Installation & preparations
Unpack all parts and make sure they are undamaged. The box contains thefollowing:
• Microwave oven
• Glass tray
• Glass tray support ring
• Instruction book

• Never place theglass tray (D) upside down (the three
”bumps” in themiddle should face downward).
• Both theglass tray (D) and thesupport ring (C) must be
in place each time you use themicrowave oven.
• All food and dishes should always be placed on
theglass tray when defrosting or heating.
• If theglass tray or thesupport ring breaks contact
customer service.
Placement of the microwave oven
• Select an even, dry surface on which to place
themicrowave oven.
• Make sure theoven has enough space and that
no air intake or exhaust is blocked. Minimumfree
space around oven id 7,5 cm; minimum free
space above oven is 30 cm.
• Do not remove themicrowave oven’s feet.
Theyare needed to ensure sufficient ventilation
under theappliance.
• Place themicrowave oven as far away from TVs
and radios as possible. The oven may interfere
with TV and radio reception when in use.

Suitable containers for use of microwave oven
We recommend microwave-proof dishes for preparing food. Glass, porcelain and special plastic materials are
suitable. Never use metal containers or dishes with gold or silver edges. Wooden dishes with wooden parts are
unsuited as theoven dries thewood and thewood may split.

Use
1. Set power by turning thepower knob to
thedesired level (see power settings below).
2. Set thetime by turning thetime knob to
thedesired time (max time 35 min.).
3. The microwave oven starts automatically once
you have set power and time.
4. A “ping” is heard when time is up.
5. Reset thetime to 0 as soon as you have removed
thefood or when theoven is not going to be used.
6. Never start themicrowave oven without food.
Sparks may be generated and theoven may be
severely damaged.

Observe during use!
• Place themicrowave oven as far away from TVs and radios as possible. The microwave oven can cause
interference in TV and radio reception when in use.
• When heating at low power theoven lamp may go dim. This is quite normal.
• Steam is often produced when food is being prepared. Most of thesteam escapes through theventilation
openings but some steam will condense on cooler surfaces, e.g., on theoven window. This is quite normal.

Care and maintenance
• Always pull theplug from thewall socket before cleaning. Never immerse themicrowave oven
in water to clean it.
• Dry theinside and outside of theoven with asoft, moist cloth and amild detergent.
Avoid solvents or cleansers.
• Wash glass tray, support ring and rack in warm water with detergent.

• Drag alltid ur stickproppen ur vägguttaget innan du rengör mikrovågsugnen.
• Utsätt inte mikrovågsugnen och dess nätsladd för slag eller stötar.
• Se till så att nätsladden inte kommer ikontakt med varma ytor, t.ex. en varm spisplatta.
• Använd inte mikrovågsugnen om nätsladden eller stickproppen är iskadat skick.
