Extended Balancer Stub Shaft

For use with COATS 950, 1025, 1050, & 1055 Model Series Balancer

Installation

1. Turn off and unplug the Balancer.

2. Prevent the faceplate from rotating and use an appropriate size

wrench to remove the existing stub-shaft. (Fig. 1)

3. Using a penetrating oil, carefully clean the pilot hole in the end of

the motor shaft. (Fig. 2)

4. Remove the 1.125 inch diameter 7.50 inch shaft from it’s protective

sleeve.

5. Make sure the pilot diameter is free of any debris.

6. Carefully install the shaft onto the motor shaft using an appropriate

size wrench and tighten to 40 to 60 ft-lbs. (Fig. 3)
