THE INDESTRUCTIBLE HEADSETS: UNSURPASSED
DURABILITY, COMFORT, AND EXCELLENT AUDIO
QUALITY FOR PROFESSIONAL SETTINGS
The supremely durable CC-85 single-ear and CC-250 double-ear
headsets provide the appearance and features to meet any professional
communications requirement. They are especially designed for intercom
applications where good audio quality, reliability, durability, and comfort
are of prime importance, or where a switched mic is required.
The almost indestructible headsets are constructed of Dura-Flex, an
advanced, flexible composite material. The lightweight headsets will not
be damaged if they are dropped, stepped on, or otherwise abused in the
line of duty. And Dura-Flex also protects the internal transducers and
electronics from damage.
The smooth, full-range audio response gives an accurate representation
of program material, and promotes low ear fatigue when using the
headsets for extended periods. A presence peak is incorporated to enhance
voice intelligibility.
Unique dual-chamber foam-filled ear cushions provide acoustic
isolation in moderate-noise-level environments. They are extremely
comfortable for long-term use.
The flexible boom arm features a high-quality, noise-cancelling
microphone that promotes intelligible communications. The microphone
has low susceptibility to wind and breath noise.
A full 300 degrees of rotation allows the user to position the mic on the
left or right side, with detented "stops" to prevent the arm from shifting
during use. Swinging the boom arm up in either direction activates a
microswitch that turns the microphone output off – useful for listen-only
applications and preventing unwanted remarks from going out on the air.
Separate earphone wires are provided for stereo or binaural "split ear"
use. The custom cable is designed for high resistance to breakage, and is
well shielded both internally and externally to prevent interference and
crosstalk.
The CC-85 and CC-250 professional headsets are ideal for professional
theatrical, industrial, and broadcast applications where extreme ruggedness
and durability are required, and wherever good audio response, switchable
microphones, and great comfort are desired.
TELEPHONE HANDSET AND PUSH-TO-TALK MIC FOR
INTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS
The HS-6 telephone-style handset offers a convenient means for the
less frequent intercom user to link with the system. It is also useful when
comfort or appearance requires a more conventional look. Full-duplex
communication is possible, and the push-to-talk button minimizes
bleed of external sound into the intercom line when the handset is not
in use. The handset connects with the intercom station via a 4-pin
female XLR connector on a 6-foot coiled cord. A wall/console mounting
cradle is included.
The PT-4 push-to-talk microphone is a rugged, CB-styled mic for use
with intercom stations. It is especially useful when used with remote
speaker stations such as the KB-111A. A"dummy load" across the earpiece
pins on the connector provides the proper impedance, so that the station's
speaker will operate normally when the PT-4 is connected. Provided with
a mounting clip and a 5-foot coiled cord with heavy-duty strain relief.
