Your vehicle’s instrument panel is equipped with this cluster or one very similar to it.
The instrument panel cluster includes these key features:

IMPORTANT:The instrument panel cluster is designed to let you know about many important aspects of your vehicle’s operation. It is impor­tant to read your Owner Manual and become familiar with the information being relayed to you by the lights, gauges and indicators, as well as what action can be taken to ensure safety and to prevent damage.

Getting to Know Your Equinox
Manual Driver’s Seat Height and Recliner Adjustments (if equipped)

The manual driver’s seat height adjust­ment and recliner controls are located on the left side of the seat cushion.
Raise the seat
• Ratchet the height adjustment lever (see “A” above) upward until reaching the desired height.
Lower the seat
• Ratchet the lever downward until reaching the preferred height.
Recline the seatback
• Lift the recliner lever (see “B” above) and move the seatback to the desired position.
• Release the lever to lock the seatback in place.

Six-Way Power Driver’s Seat (if equipped)
The six-way power driver’s seat control is located on the left side of the seat cushion. The seat cushion can be raised, lowered, and moved forward or rearward by moving this control in the desired direction.

Driver’s Seat Lumbar Support (if equipped)
The driver’s seat lumbar control is located on the front-right side of the seat cushion.
Adjust lumbar support
• Turn the control knob clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease lumbar support.

Heated Seats (if equipped)
This feature allows you to heat the driv­er and/or front-passenger seat. The con­trols are located on the outboard sides of the front seats.
Turn on the heated seat(s)
• Press the forward part of the switch once to select the “High” heat setting. Press it twice for the “Low” setting.
Turn off the heated seat(s)
• Press the rearward part of the switch.

Fold-Down Front Passenger Seatback
The front passenger seatback can be folded flat, allowing you to carry extra­long cargo, such as skis, lumber, or an eight-foot ladder.
The back of the seat has a durable plas­tic surface that can be used as a desk or table when the vehicle is stationary.
Fold the seatback forward
• Lift the release bar (shown below) located under the front of the seat cushion.
• Slide the seat completely rearward, and then release the bar.
• Push and pull on the seat to ensure it is locked in place.
