To set the time

Pull the crown out to the second click.1.
At this time, the second hand will move to 0 (reset position) and stop there. Set the hands by rotating the crown. Rotate the crown to move the hands 2. clockwise. Move the minute hand four or five minutes past the time you want to set, and then back it up to the proper setting.
Carefully set the time, making sure to distinguish between AM and PM. Push the crown back in to the normal position to restart timekeeping.3.

To set the day

Pull the crown out to the first click.1. Set the day by rotating the crown.2. Push the crown back in to the normal position.3.
Avoid changing th e date setting w hile the current t ime is between 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

Using the Stopwatch

This hand mov es right and left to indicate the 1/20 second count during the first 60 seconds.
Second click (Setting time)
For a watch with an elapsed time bezel Rotate the elapsed time bezel to align the minute hand. After certain am ount of time el apsed, read the gr aduation on the elapsed time bezel which the minute hand points to. The elapsed time is indicated.
Some water resist ant models are equ ipped with a screw lock crown. With such model s, you must uns crew the crown in the direction noted in the illustration to loosen it before you can pull it out. Do not pull too forcibly on such crowns. Also note that such watches are n ot water resistant while their crowns are loo sened. Be sure to screw the crowns back in as far as they will go after making any setting.

The stopwatch lets you measure elapsed time up to 11 hours, 59 minutes,
59.95 seconds.
To measure elapsed time
Press 1. B to enter the Stopwatch Mode.
The stopwatch 1/20 second hand will move to the 0 position. Press 2. A to start the stopwatch. Press 3. A to stop the stopwatch.
You can resume the measurement operation by pressing A again. Check the elapsed time.4.
The example above shows an elapsed time of 10 hours, 2 minutes,
37.80 seconds.
Press B to reset the stopwatch.
To return the function of the stopwatch 1/20 second hand to the timekeeping
second hand (indicating the current seconds count), press B again. This wil l
enter the Timekeeping Mode.
Notes:
Do not try to perform stopwatch operations while the crown is pulled out either to the first or s econd click. If you try to press a button, you mi ght accidentally cause the crown to rotate and change the current time or day setting. If the starting positions of t he stopwatch sec ond hand and 1/2 0 second hand become misaligne d, use the foll owing procedures to a djust the posit ion of the stopwatch second hand so it points to 12 o’clock and the 1/20 second hand so it points to .0 when the stopwatch is reset.
To adjust the positions of the stopwatch hands
Press 1. B to reset the st opwatch, and che ck the alignment of the stopwat ch second hand (12 o’clock) and 1/20 second hand (12 o’clock). Pull out the crown to the second click.2. Press 3. A to move the stopwatch second hand. If the stopwatc h 1/20 second h and is aligned correctly, proceed to step 5. If 4. the stopwatch 1/20 second hand is also misaligned, press B to move the stopwatch 1/20 second hand. After making th e adjustments y ou want, push th e crown back in to its normal 5. position.
Note that pulling the crown out also stops the timekeeping second hand. After performing the above procedure, you should also adjust the timekeeping setting.
