Pull the crown out to the first click.1.
Set the day by rotating the crown towards you.2.

Using the Stopwatch
Stopwatch minute hand
This hand rotates and *
indicates the sec ond
count during the first
60 seconds.
The stopwatch lets you measure elapsed time up to 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
To measure elapsed time (First 60 seconds)
Press 1. A to start the stopwatch.
Press 2. A to stop the stopwatch.
You can resume the measurement operation by pressing • A again.
Check the elapsed time.3.
The example below shows an elapsed time of 40.30 seconds. •

For a watch with an elapsed tim e bezel ■
Rotate the elapsed time bezel to align the
minute hand.
After certain am ount of time el apsed, read the gr aduation on
the elapsed time bezel which the minute hand points to.
The elapsed time is indicated.
Some water resist ant models are equ ipped with a screw •
lock crown.
With such model s, you must uns crew the crown in the •
direction noted in the illustration to loosen it before you can
pull it out. Do not pull too forcibly on such crowns.
Also note that such watches are n ot water resistant while •
their crowns are loo sened. Be sure to screw the crowns
back in as far as they will go after making any setting.

Press • B to reset the stopwatch.
This will enter the Timekeeping Mode.
To measure elapsed time (After the first 60 seconds)
Press 1. A to start the stopwatch.
During elapsed time measurement, the stopwatch 1 /100 second hand •
automatically rotates for the final second of each minute.
Press 2. A to stop the stopwatch.
You can resume the measurement operation by pressing • A again.
Press 3. A and the stopw atch 1/100 secon d hand will mov e to the
1/100 second count.
If the elapsed time operation was stopped duri ng the final seco nd of each •
minute, the stopwatch 1/100 second hand will already be pointing at the
1/100 second count. Do not press A at this time, because doing s o will
restart the elapsed time operation.
Check the elapsed time.4.
The example below shows an elapsed time of two minutes, 40.30 seconds. •

Press • B to reset the stopwatch.
This will enter the Timekeeping Mode.
Notes:
Do not try to perform stopwatch operations while the crown is pulled out either •
to the first or s econd click. If you try to press a button, you mi ght accidentally
cause the crown to rotate and change the current time or day setting.
If the starting positions of t he stopwatch sec ond hand and 1/1 00 second hand •
become misaligne d, use the foll owing procedures to a djust the posit ions of the
hands so they point to 12 o’clock when the stopwatch is reset.
To adjust the positions of the stopwatch hands
Press 1. B to reset the st opwatch, and che ck the alignment of the stopwat ch
second hand and 1/100 second hand.
Pull out the crown to the second click.2.
Press 3. A to move the stopwatch 1/100 second hand.
If the stopwatc h minute hand i s aligned correctl y, proceed to step 5. If the 4.
stopwatch minute hand is also misaligned, press B to move the s topwatch
second hand.
After making th e adjustments y ou want, push th e crown back in to its normal 5.
position.
Note that pulling the crown out also stops the timekeeping second hand. After •
performing the above procedure, you should also adjust the timekeeping setting.
