In times of changing customer requirements, it is unlimited flexibility of your printing system combined with optimal efficiency that ensures your long term success. The Océ ColorStream® 3000 series is your reliable and adaptable digital printing system that enables you to efficiently print monochrome as well as fullcolor applications. For a wide range of applications like transaction, TransPromo, Direct Mail or books and manuals, the Océ ColorStream 3000 series using Océ DigiDot® technology will fulfill the most demanding requirements while retaining full simplex and duplex productivity based on the established Océ twin concept.

The Océ ColorStream 3000 series

The Océ ColorStream 3000 series combines the excellent and proven Océ DigiDot quality for brilliant full-color output with the industry-leading configuration flexibility of the Océ VarioStream® series. The Océ ColorStream 3000 series can be configured as a single simplex unit or as flexible twin configuration for unrestricted duplex and simplex productivity. The series consists of four family members, ranging from 48 up to 127 meters per minute and a print width of up to 21.25" (540 mm). That translates to 324 up to 1,714 A4 impressions per minute. The configurations easily support monthly volumes of up to 56 million A4. The Océ ColorStream 3000 series systems

can be configured as dedicated monochrome solution and may be upgraded to full color. An optional 5th and 6th color can be utilized to add extra value to applications by using special inks like MICR. The productivity combined with unique capabilities that reduce paper waste, the HeadSafe concept and industry leading ease of operation offer productivity, efficiency and sustainability unprecedented in inkjet production printing.

Océ DigiDot imaging technology

The Océ ColorStream 3000 series builds on the Océ DigiDot piezoelectric drop-ondemand technology which employs the industry’s most reliable printheads.

By varying the ink droplet size (multilevel dot modulation) the Océ ColorStream 3000 series produces crisp details and smooth halftones with less ink. At speeds of up to 100 m/min multilevel technology produces a perceived image quality of 1,200 dpi.

Seamless workflow integration

Powered by the Océ SRA® MP controller and the powerful Océ PRISMA® software suite, the Océ ColorStream 3000 series is designed for seamless integration with industry-standard workflows. The SRA MP controller supports the latest advancements in AFP/IPDS (IS/3) as well as native PCL6 and PDF with the incorporated Adobe PDF Print Engine 2.5.
