Online booklet making for increased productivity
Printing of documents is not necessarily the end of the story. It might
just be the beginning! For example, printed documents may need to be
made into booklets. The Océ BLM200 booklet maker provides the ideal
solution. This booklet maker links directly online to Océ printers and is
extremely flexible and easy to use. So, major benefits are realised when a
booklet maker is linked directly to an Océ printer, significantly optimising
productivity and efficiency.
Finishing made easy
The Océ BLM200 booklet maker is
certainly an impressive piece of finishing
equipment. This system is modular and
allows the right equipment to be selected
to match an application. And, of course,
the system is fully upgradable. The Océ
BLM200 booklet maker represents the
ultimate in ease of operation. It
incorporates a self-setting size mechanism,
which means that there is no need for
manual adjustment of paper guides, etc.
For most common applications, preprogrammed booklet making jobs are
accessed at the touch of a button.
Optional modules available
It is easy to choose the right booklet
making solution from a large number of
possible combinations. Several optional
modules can be added or linked together to
offer a flexible online solution. The output
is always delivered to a conveyor stacker,
regardless of option(s) chosen.
Trimmer
Firstly, the system is usually equipped with
a booklet trimmer. The face trimmer
produces a much-enhanced booklet by
trimming the long (open) edge of the
booklet. Trimming can be set from 2 mm
to 16 mm.
SquareFold
A further option is the SquareFold™
module. This module flattens the spine of
the booklet so that it looks like a
conventional book, thereby guaranteeing a
really professional-looking end result. This
module requires the face trimmer module
to be present.

Rotator
For optimum productivity when producing
A5 booklets, the rotator module is required.
This unit turns A4 paper through 90º,
thereby ensuring that the printer runs at
maximum productivity.
