High quality colour

A 600 x 1,200 dpi print resolution ensures high
quality colour output for all your corporate work
–whether for text, graphic images or photographs. The
system utilizes Canon’s spherical toner particles for a
fine, smooth finish. Unlike conventional toner
particles, they are smaller and smoother and contain
an embedded bead of wax - resulting in a perfect, oil­less matt output even for OHP presentations.

Productivity for low prints costs

A crucial consideration for corporate environments is
cost per colour print. Thanks to Canon’s “all-in-one
technology”, with an integrated developing unit that
includes the photo-sensitive drum, the iR C2100/S
realises reduced running and print costs. Transfer belt
technology in combination with a four-drum inline
mechanism speeds up the printing process –while
ensuring highly accurate colour registration.

High speed colour

The iR C2100/S system delivers the speed you need ­at a fast 21 A4 pages per minute for full colour, black
and white and mixed output. It offers flexibility for all
paper formats, including A3+ printing at 10.5 ppm.
The iR C2100 model provides stackless duplexing to
increase productivity. First copy out time is only 9.9
seconds, for a fast start.

Practical modular solutions

The innovative modular design of the iR C2100/S
allows you to configure the system to your exact
requirements - or even add on a module at a later date
to meet changing workflow demands. The system can
be configured for copy only, network printing or
complete copying and network printing.

Extensive finishing

A diverse range of finishing accessories is available for
all circumstances. A Stapler Sorter with 18 bins takes
all paper sizes from A5R to A3+. The Finisher offers
stapling and a bigger stacking capacity. While a Saddle
Finisher provides paper folding with 2-way stapling
–thus enabling practical booklet production.

Note: (Saddle-) Finisher functionality only available when printing.

Versatile paper handling

The standard paper supply consists of 2 paper
cassettes, each holding 500 sheets (64 to 105 g/m²,
including OHP sheets) with a manual feeder capable of
handling weights up to 220 g/m². Then 2 additional
paper cassettes can be added to double the paper
capacity. Or for intensive copying or printing, a paper
deck can be added - taking the total paper capacity to
5,550 sheets.

Powerful networking

A powerful, optional embedded controller ensures
complete networking capability, bringing colour
productivity to every connected desktop. The
controller offers fast colour processing speeds - thanks
to a powerful 266 MHz CPU, 160MB RAM and a

6.0GB hard disk. For full connectivity and colour
control on all computer platforms.

Compact, low-noise machine

The iR C2100/S is extremely compact, due to Canon’s
new LED and transfer belt technologies. Also
operation is very quiet as an Ultra Sonic Motor (USM)
drives the drums. There’s virtually no ozone emission
due to the injection drum charging. Plus a ‘finger­touch’ message display and clear control panel
facilitates operation for everyone.
