110M offers all the
advanced capabilities of the imageRUNNER 110 with
the added benefit of MICR technology. The result is a
flexible printer solution that can produce a wide range
of applications in finance, banking, insurance, manu­facturing, and more.

Offering the same functionality and accessory support as Canon’s
existing imageRUNNER 110, the imageRUNNER 110M also supports
high-quality MICR printing, enabling it to meet diverse customer
application needs in both Data Center and CRD environments. Like its
predecessor, the imageRUNNER 110M comes with a powerful SUN Ultra
controller, a three-drawer, 4,000-sheet paper supply, and a 3,000­sheet Finisher as standard. The device supports various paper sizes and
stocks, and can be configured with a roll feed device and up to three
Stackers to deliver hours of uninterrupted operation. Both transactional
and general print-on-demand applications can be accomplished on the
same machine, reducing costs and increasing productivity.

Proven Technology

The precise paper-handling, superior image quality, and best-in-class
registration that the imageRUNNER 110 is known for are also key
elements of the imageRUNNER 110M. The result is fewer jams, excellent
font readability, and consistent print performance for all MICR jobs.
MICR applications such as checks, coupons, rebates, and financial doc­uments, can be printed with confidence.

Flexible Design

Due to the imageRUNNER 110M device’s unique design, users can switch
between MICR and standard toner, depending on the type of job or
application required. Interchangeable toning stations can be easily
swapped out between print runs. This is made possible through the pur­chase of a second non-MICR toning station and toning carts to facilitate
the exchange. MICR toner fonts are automatically disabled when the
MICR toning station is removed. What’s more, prints generated with
MICR and non-MICR toner are tracked by separate meters to simplify
billing, as well as to provide a greater level of control and accountability.

Enhanced Security

The imageRUNNER 110M employs special security features to ensure
that MICR jobs are run by authorized personnel. A logged-in user iden­tified as a “Security Operator” will have permissions and privileges to
enable and disable MICR fonts, and release jobs from the Secured
State when Restricted Secure Mode is active. Operators without the
MICR secure designation will not be able to activate MICR fonts or
release secure jobs. Additionally, to activate MICR fonts, MICR toner
must be detected by the system.
