UHQ (Ultra High Quality)

When faxing with yesterday’s technology, graphics and photos can be rendered unviewable.
This is because traditional fax machines cannot differentiate shades of grey. To solve this
problem, Canon introduced Ultra High Quality (UHQ) Imaging Technology. Halftone
reproduction up to 256 shades of grey and an Edge Enhancement feature detect gradual
changes in image density for high clarity results. With Canon, the true meaning of the word
facsimile is restored.

Inkjet Laser

Modem Speed ● ●

The higher the modem speed, the faster a fax message

can be transmitted, saving costs (when receiving fax

machine has a matching modem speed).

Memory ● ●

Lets you store faxes before you send them, reducing

the time spent waiting to fax. If paper or ink runs out,

incoming faxes are saved to the memory, so you can

print them out later. You need never miss a fax.

One-touch/Speed Dial ● ●

Send a fax with just one keystroke. Useful for frequently

dialed destinations.

Delayed Transmission ● ●

Allows you to send a fax out later during low-rate call

hours, saving costs.

Sequential Broadcast ● ●

Sends the same fax message to more than

Dual Access ● ●
