CARE
The lenses of your spotting scope are 100% hard
magnesium fluoride coated for highest light
transmission. As with any optical coated, special care
must be taken in cleaning the lenses. Moisten the
surface of the lens slightly and wipe dry using a circular
motion starting at the center of the lens. Wipe or brush
o ff any dirt or dust on the outside of the spotting scope
and tripod.
Bushnell®Sentry®models come with a convenient
hard storage case (except for the 45-degree model).
MOUNTING
Remove the spotting scope and tripod from the hard
storage carrying case. Screw the tripod attachment
screw into the tripod mount hole located on the base
CAUTION
Never disassemble your spotting scope or tripod.
Special tools and equipment are required for service
and irreparable damage can result from untrained

of the spotting scope. Spread the tripod legs and set
on a solid surface.
FOCUSING
The spotting scope is focused with the focus ring. For
models with a 50mm objective, the eyepiece will move
“in” and “out”, depending on the direction the ring is
turned. When the tube is all the way “out”, the spotting
scope is at the closest focus position.
MAGNIFICATION
To change magnification, grasp and rotate the knurled
portion of the eyepiece. It may be necessary to refocus when the magnification is changed.
USING THE TRIPOD
To pan side to side or up and down, unloosen the
tripod control handle by rotating it counterclockwise.
To lock into a desired position, rotate the tripod control
