Triggering an emergenc y call
1. With the button

signal and a flashing signal light outside the toilet.
2. With the pullcord

The LED (comforting light ) integr ated in t he signal b utton indicates to the person needing help that her/his call
has been recognized and t hat hel p is on the way.
Acknowledging the alarm message

• Apply the "five safety rules" (DIN VDE 0105, EN 50110):
1. Disconnect from power;
2. Secure against being re-connected;
3. Ensure there is no voltage;
4. Connect to earth and short-circuit;
5. Cover or barricade adjacent live parts.
• Use suitable pers onal prot ective c lothing.
• Use only suitable tools an d measuri ng device s.
• Check the supply network type (TN system, IT system, TT system) to secure the following
power supply conditions (classic connect ion to gro und, prot ective eart hing, necessar y
additional measures, etc. ).

It should preferably be mo unted n ext to the door of th e WC.
1. Mount the devices in a flush-mounted box according to DIN 049073-1.
2. Fix the devices in the flush-mounted box with screws.
3. Bundle the wires of the mains cable ( 230 V) with the cabl e binder s included in the sc ope of suppl y (Fig. 2: b).
4. Push the low-voltage lines throug h the insul ating tu be inclu ded in th e scope of supply (Fig. 2: a).
5. Connect the terminal resistor to ter minals 1 and 2 of t he signa l butto n insert th at is insta lled furt hest fr om the
alarm signal insert.
6. Mount the elements of the c over plate in the seq uence sho wn in the illustrat ion.
