Getting started
Inserting the Batteries
To use the Caller Display function on this telephone you will need to use 4 x AAA (1.5V) batteries. Before inserting the batteries please make sure that the telephone line cord is disconnected.
1. Use a screwdriver or other flat tool to open the battery door underneath the product.
3. Close the battery compartment door securely and plug in the telephone line cord.
Note: If the Low Battery icon appears on the display,
the batteries must be replaced to gain full use of all the product features.
Language Setting
1. Press and hold the Review and buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds.
2. Press the Review or button to scroll through the language options
3. Press the ‘Store’ button to confirm the language selection.
Display Contrast Setting
You will be prompted to set the Display Contrast immediately after you have set the product ‘Languages’ setting above.
1. Press the or to adjust the contrast setting between 1 and 16.
2. Press the ‘Store’ button to confirm the setting.
Time and Date Setting
You will be prompted to set the display Time and Date immediately after you have set the product ‘Contrast’ setting as above.
1. Press the or to change the Hour, then press ‘Store’
2. Press the or to change the Minute, then press ‘Store’
3. Select AM or PM, using the * or # key
4. Press the or to change the Day, then press ‘Store’
5. Press the or to change the Month, then press ‘Store’.
Storing a Number in the One-Touch Memories
When storing numbers in the memory locations, please keep the telephone handset on hook.
1. Press the ‘Store’ button
2. Enter the numbers to be stored, using the keypad
3. Press the ‘Store’ button again
4. Press the memory location button where the number is to be stored (M1 – M7).

Dialling a Stored Number
1. Pick up the handset or press ‘Monitor’.
2. Press the relevant one-touch memory button (M1 – M7)
Receiving and Storing Calls in the Calls Log
This product has a 99 number Caller Display Log and will store the Number, Time and Date of your calls. An ‘X’ will be displayed for Repeat Calls Log Entries. When the Calls Log is full, the oldest call record will automatically be replaced by a new Call.
Viewing Calls in the Calls Log
Press the Review button to view each new call. When you have viewed all the new calls, ‘END OF LIST’ will be displayed. Press the Review button to view the previous call record.
Call Back from the Calls Log
1. Press the or button to search for the entry you wish to Call Back.
2. Lift up the handset or press ‘Monitor’.
3. Press the ‘CALL BACK’ button.
Clear Button
1. Press the or button to search for the entry you wish to delete in the Calls Log.
2. Press the ‘Clear’ button twice to delete the Call Record.
3. To delete all the entries in the calls log, press and hold the ‘Clear’ button for approximately 4 seconds, then release the button. Press the ‘Clear’ button again and all the entries will be deleted.
Message Waiting
If a caller has left a voicemail message for you the text ‘MESSAGE WAITING’ will appear on the display and the NEW/MSG LED will flash.
Redial/Pause Button
To redial the last number you dialled.
1. Pick up the Handset or press ‘Monitor’.
2. Press the ‘Redial’ button.
Recall Button
Press the ‘Recall’ button to use services such as Call Waiting and Call Transfer.
Special Message Indications
The following special message indicators show the current status of the product:
NO CALLS The Caller Display log is empty UNAVAILABLE The call has originated from another network which does not
support the sending of Caller Display information. WITHHELD The caller has withheld their Caller Display information. END OF LIST There are no new Calls to be viewed. X Repeat Call Indicator
