WARNING
1. Do not drop the camera or allow it to hit solid objects.
2. Do not attempt to disassemble the camera.
3. To prevent the camera from being damaged by moisture, do not use the camera in very humid environments, such as in rain or near bodies of water.
4. Do not use or store the camera in dusty places or on a beach to prevent dust or sand from entering the camera.
5. Do not use or store the camera in a hot environment or under direct sunlight.
6. Do not use or store the camera near a powerful magnetic field, for example, near a magnet or transformer.
7. Avoid touching the lens of the camera.
8. Do not expose the camera directly to sunlight for a long period of time.
9. Do not use the camera if water accidentally comes into contact with the camera. Dry it for 24 hours before use.
10. When you move the camera from a cold place to a warmer environment, condensation may occur. Wait for a reasonable period of time before turning it on. When you use the camera, if the phone over heats, do not use until the phone cools down.
11. Use this unit only for its intended use as described in this manual.

INSTALLING THE OPAI360 APP
The 360° VR Camera requires the free Opai360 app.
There are three ways to install the Opai360 app. Do one of the following:
1. Scan the following QR code, tap Open Link to access the Opai360 app in the Google Play Store, and tap Install. *
2. Visit Google Play, search for Opai360, and tap Install. *
3. Visit http://www.opai360.com/download/, tap Google Play, and tap Install. *
* Opai360 is compatible with any phone that runs Android 4.4 or above, has a USB Type-C port, and supports USB "host" mode (USB OTG).

TAKING PHOTOS AND RECORDING VIDEOS
When the Opai360 app starts, it will display the camera page, showing you a 360° view as seen by your camera lens.
To take a picture, tap the CAMERA icon.
To record a video clip of up to 10 seconds, tap and hold the CAMERA icon.
To record a longer video, tap and hold the CAMERA icon, then swipe up. Tap the icon again to stop recording.
Note: There is a protective film on the lenses of a new camera. Remove the film before first use.
CONNECTING THE CAMERA TO YOUR PHONE
To connect the camera to your phone, plug the camera's connector into the USB Type-C port on your phone. If the USB port is located at the bottom of your phone,
hold the phone upside down to insert and use the camera.
The power indicator light will turn green, the camera will turn on, and the Opai360 App will start automatically.
If the camera does not turn on, unplug the camera from the phone and re-plug the camera into the phone. Stopping the app manually may be required, as it may be running in the background. If the app does not start, try to start it manually.
You may be prompted to use the app with this device. Click Yes.

icon, then swipe up to start recording a longer video. Tap the icon again to stop recording.
To take pictures using a filter, tap the filter icon at the bottom right of your screen,
select a filter, and tap the X to close the filter options.

VIEWING YOUR PICTURES
To view the most recent picture, tap the PICTURE icon on the bottom left of your
screen.
To view an album of all of your pictures and videos, tap the BACK icon on the top
left of the screen to visit the album page.
To return to camera mode, tap the PICO icon at the bottom right of the album.
360° VIEW MODES
There are several modes you can use to view pictures. While viewing a picture, tap
the picture to display your options, and tap Mode, located in the bottom left corner of the screen, to choose a mode. Slide the screen in all directions to switch the view angles, or zoom in and out using two fingers.

While viewing your pictures you can apply various embellishments to the picture, as described on Page 9, and optionally save a copy of the embellished picture.

Tap the GYROSCOPE button to toggle
the gyroscopic motion control on and off while viewing a panoramic photo or video in full screen. When the gyroscope control is on, move your phone around to check the views in different directions.
You may also watch a panoramic video or photo with a head-mounted display. Tap the VR mode button to switch to VR (virtual reality) mode, then put your mobile phone into the VR device and enjoy the immersive panoramic scenes.
EMBELLISHING YOUR PICTURES
You can add stickers, emojis, text, and drawings to your pictures, and you can apply
different filters to your pictures. While viewing a picture, tap the picture to display the embellishment options. Follow the tips on the screen to explore all the features available in the Opai360 app.
To save your edited image, tap Menu in the upper right corner, and select the Save
menu option. Your changes will be saved as a new image. The original image will not be overwritten.

MENU OPTIONS
The menu, located in the upper right corner of your screen, allows you to save
changes you've made to a picture, delete a picture, or enter GYROSCOPE or VR mode.

SHARING
While viewing a picture or video, tap the sharing icon, located in the bottom right corner of the screen, to share your pictures and videos to social media platforms.
UPDATING THE SOFTWARE
To take advantage of new features, update the app to the latest version. Check for
app updates from Settings > About > App Version.
An update to the firmware of the 360° VR Camera may be required after the app is updated. When you next plug the camera into the mobile phone, if a firmware update is required the update will start automatically. During the firmware update:
1. Ensure that the mobile phone is sufficiently charged.
2. Ensure that the 360° VR Camera and the mobile phone are well connected.
3. Do not turn off the mobile phone while updating the firmware.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The camera
will not connect
Check that the power indicator light is green. Unplug and re-plug the camera into the phone, or restart the
phone when the indicator is off or turns red. You may have to stop the app running in the background.
Check that the phone battery is sufficiently charged. On some mobile phones, the OTG function is turned off by
default, and it will turn off whenever the phone has not been used for an extended time. The phone will not be able to detect the camera. Turn on the USB OTG function in the Settings page of the phone.
On some mobile phones, the OTG function is turned off when no external device is detected. Plug in the camera, then go to the phone's Settings > Device Connection > USB Connection > USB Device Detection to turn it on. (Menu options among different phones may vary.)
The phone might not be compatible with the camera. Visit http://
www.opai360.com/ to check the list of compatible phones.
The photos
are not clear
There is a protective film on the lenses of a new camera. Remove
the film before use.
The lens may be smudged. Clean the lens with the provided
cleaning cloth before use.
There is no voice in the recorded video or the video cannot be recorded
Check that there is sufficient storage available in the phone.
The Audio Record permission for Opai360 may be disabled. Go
to Settings page of the phone and check that the permissions for the Opai360 app include Audio Record Permission. (Menu options among different phones may vary.)
The camera will not work without being connected to a phone
The camera is not designed to work independently. It must be
connected to a mobile phone for use. You can also connect the camera to a PC with a USB cable; download and install the PC driver from the website http://www.opai360.com/download/.
I cannot use my selfie stick with the camera
The camera is compatible with selfie sticks that are controlled via
the volume button of the phone.
1. Plug the camera into your phone. The camera page of the Opai360 app opens.
2. Connect the cable of the selfie stick with the headset hole of the phone.
3. Press the shooting button on the selfie stick to take photos, or double click the button to record videos.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Store the camera in a dry environment and place it on a flat surface when you are storing the camera for a long period of time.
2. When you clean the body of the camera, do not use abrasive, alcohol-based, or organic cleaner.
3. Use the provided professional lens wiping cloth and to wipe and clean the lenses.

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Brookstone® warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or
3) provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Brookstone, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone’s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Brookstone and becomes Brookstone’s property.
Obtaining Service: To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at 1-800-292-9819. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement, per our instructions.
Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for Brookstone that can be identified by the “Brookstone” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Brookstone products. Manufacturers or

suppliers other than Brookstone may provide their own warranties to the purchaser, but Brookstone, in so far as permitted by law, provides these products “as is.” This warranty does not apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’s use or the installation of components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Brookstone; d) accessories used in conjunction with a covered product; e) a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; f) items intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product including, without limitation, batteries or light bulbs; g) any product sold “as is” including, without limitation, floor demonstration models and refurbished items; or h) a product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose.

IF BROOKSTONE CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITE D IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY.
Some states disallow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
