DANGER
To reduce the risk of electric shock, burns, fire or injury:
Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
Do not place or store unit where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Do not place in, drop or submerge in water or other liquid.
Do not reach for unit that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not
spilled onto the unit.
WARNING
Use this unit only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Never drop or insert an object into any opening.
The unit should be situated away from direct sunlight or heat sources such
as radiators, electric heaters, heat registers, stoves, or other units (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Avoid placing on top of stereo equipment that radiates heat.
Never block the air openings of the unit with materials such as clothing, plastic bags or papers, or place it on a soft surface such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair
the unit. Incorrect repair can cause risk of electric shock or injury to persons when unit is used.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B Digital Device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these safety instructions when using or handling your Video Glasses to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons and property.
1. READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY INFORMATION PROVIDED BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
2. Use the product only for its intended use, as described in this manual.
3. Close supervision is needed when this product is by or near children.
4. Children under the age of seven (7) are still learning to focus and track with their
eyes. Their vision is still immature. For these reasons, THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE USED BY CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF SEVEN (7).
5. A very small portion of the population may experience epileptic seizures when viewing certain kinds of flashing lights or patterns that are commonly present in our daily environment. These persons may also experience seizures while watching some kinds of television pictures or playing certain video games on regular monitors, including the use of a display system such as this. These effects can
be increased due to the large size of the video screens in this device. As a result consult a physician if you have any epileptic condition before using this device or if you experience any of the following symptoms while using this device: altered vision, muscle twitching, other involuntary movements, loss of awareness of your surroundings, mental confusion, and/or convulsions.
6. Immersive video, whether viewed on a regular TV, a movie theater screen or a video display, can potentially have adverse effects on the user including motion sickness, perceptual after effects and disorientation, and decreased postural stability and eye strain. Take frequent breaks to lessen the potential

of these effects, as is commonly suggested for other items, such as keyboards
and computer monitors, that you may tend to fixate or concentrate on. If your eyes show signs of fatigue or dryness or if any of the above symptoms is noted, immediately discontinue use of this device and do not resume using it for at least 30 minutes after the symptoms have fully subsided.
7. Permanent or temporary hearing loss or impairment can result from excessive
volume levels emitted from the headphones. Always adjust the volume to a safe
level BEFORE wearing the product or headphones.
8. Always be aware of the world around you. This product will immerse you in realistic sights and sounds, possibly causing you to forget about the real world around you and the threats to your well-being and the well-being of others. DO NOT use this product near stairs, balconies, or other things that can be tripped over, run
into, knocked down or fallen over. This product should only be used while you are seated and never while using sharp or potentially dangerous objects, operating any form of mechanical device, driving motor vehicles, or performing any act that normally requires you to see what you are doing.
9. This product may be tethered to a power outlet and cables may extend between components. Be careful that these cords do not tangle around you or pose a potential threat to the safety of others.

11. Do not pull or yank on the cable, kink any of the cables or tie them in sharp or
tight knots. Do not hang the product or allow it to be suspended by any of its cables. To disconnect cables, pull on the cable connector. Cables damaged by such actions are not covered by the product’s limited warranty.
12. Do not drop, strike, or cause any portion of the product to be struck or shaken
aggressively. Such actions may damage the product and void your warranty.
Immediately unplug the product from external power sources if:
Liquid has been sprayed, splashed or poured on the product.
Any component of the product has been dropped or damaged.
The product exhibits any distinct change in performance.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Dispose of the old battery properly. Do not dispose of the old battery in a fire.
Do not leave the battery where a child or pet could play with or swallow it. If the battery is swallowed, contact a physician immediately.

OPERATION
CHARGING THE VIDEO GLASSES
Make sure to fully charge the Video Glasses before first use.
Plug the pin of the USB CHARGER CABLE into the INPUT PORT
of the Video Glasses control pack. The power indicator light will illuminate.
Connect the other end of the USB CHARGER CABLE into the USB port of your computer, or USB port of the USB ADAPTER and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
The Video Glasses will charge within 3-4 hours while switched off,
or while in use.
WATCHING VIDEO
Connecting to iPod and iPhone:
Connect the AV INPUT PORT of Video Glasses into the AV output port of iPod/iPhone with the appropriate cable and adapter.
Note: To connect the iPod 5th Generation, use the 3.5mm AV connector cable without the AV adapter.
2. Turn on the iPod/iPhone video and select Video Setting. Select TV Out and select ON.
3. Place the Video Glasses on your head and move the Power Switch to ON.
4. Place EAR BUDS in your ears and adjust volume.

Connecting to Other Sources:
You may use the Video Glasses with most video applications.
If the ports of your device do not match with the control pack’s cord, use the correct included connector to fit the device.
Included connectors in package are as follows:
3.5mm AV connector cable Portable DVD connector cable RCA connector cable (female plug) iPod AV adapter for connector cable
Connect the AV INPUT PORT of Video Glasses to the video
source with the appropriate cable.
Turn on the video source and select Video Setting, Video Out.
The Video Glasses will automatically receive the video signal.
Place the Video Glasses on your head and move the Power
Switch to ON.
Place EAR BUDS in your ears and adjust volume.

EAR BUD PLUG ADJUSTMENT & REMOVAL
Your Video Glasses EAR BUDS can be removed should you wish
to use an alternate speaker system.
To remove the EAR BUDS:
Grasp the hard plastic finger grip on the EAR BUD PLUG, adjacent to the TEMPLE on the Video Glasses.
Pull straight back on the finger grip. DO NOT pull by the cable.
Reverse the process to re-insert the EAR BUD PLUGS, ensuring the R and L are on the right and left side of the Video Eyeglasses for best stereo sound.
NOSE BRIDGE ADJUSTMENT
Your Video Glasses are equipped with an adjustable NOSE BRIDGE
that provides a broad range of adjustment.
To adjust the NOSE BRIDGE:
Grasp the NOSE BRIDGE PAD between your thumb and forefinger and bend the arm to an appropriate position.
Repeat with the other NOSE BRIDGE PAD and then make minor adjustments until a comfortable position has been achieved.

Note: The NOSE BRIDGE is designed for occasional adjustment
by a single user. It is not designed for repeated bending or extreme bend angles. These actions may weaken the support wires,
resulting in damage.
Prescription eyeglass wearers can adjust the NOSE BRIDGE to wear their Video Glasses over and in front of their glasses.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
Your Video Glasses are powered by a single 1000 mAH Lithium-ion
Battery (included). This high quality rechargeable battery will provide
power for up to 8 hours of use on a single charge.
To remove or replace the battery:
Press down on the grip area near the top of the BATTERY
COMPARTMENT cover.
Slide the cover back and remove.
Insert a new battery according to the polarity indicators on the battery.
Slide the BATTERY COMPARTMENT cover back in place.
CLEANING
Use a soft, dry cloth (not included) to clean your Video Glasses
frame and lenses.
Do not use liquid or spray-on cleaners or paper tissues for cleaning
your Video Glasses.

Why am I not achieving the rated battery life?
The power profile of batteries varies by type.
A name-brand lithium-ion battery is recommended for this device.
Rechargeable battery capacity depletes with use
over time.
Battery storage conditions will also affect a battery’s charge.
The ratings provided are for “up to 8 hours”.

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Brookstone® warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or
3) provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Brookstone, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone’s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Brookstone and becomes Brookstone’s property.
Obtaining Service:
To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at 1-800-292-9819. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement, per our instructions.
Limits and Exclusions:
Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for Brookstone that can be identified by the “Brookstone” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Brookstone products. Manufacturers or suppliers other than Brookstone may provide their own warranties to the purchaser,

but Brookstone, in so far as permitted by law, provides these products “as is.” This warranty does not apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’s use or the installation of components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Brookstone; d) accessories used in conjunction with a covered product; e) a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; f) items intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product including, without limitation, batteries or light bulbs; g) any product sold “as is” including, without limitation, floor demonstration models and refurbished items; or h) a product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose.
BROOKSTONE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BROOKSTONE DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF BROOKSTONE CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY.
