Installation Instructions for Kawasaki ZX-10R (11-13) PAIR Block-Off
The black cap (#832648) included with your ZX-10R (11-13) exhaust system purchase is used to block off
emissions (PAIR) to help prevent ‘deceleration pop’ and also prevent ram-air pressure loss from the airbox
after blocking the PAIR.
1. Lift and prop gas tank.
2. Remove PAIR hose from front left airbox nipple. See Figure 1.
3. Use a long, slender, and dull-ended object (e.g. Sharpie
extension) to prevent damage to the cap during installation. See Figure 2.
4. Push the cap past the bend, as shown. See Figure 3.
5. Reinstall hose onto the airbox nipple. See Figure 4.
