Poaching/omelettes
For best results when poaching and making omelettes use the 2 large steaming trays.
1. For 1 or 2 poached eggs/omelettes fill the measuring beaker to the ‘medium number 1’ level. Pour water into the heating base.
2. Position the egg tray on the heating base.
3. Grease the steaming trays with butter or margarine.
4. Break an egg into each of the 2 larger trays (or pour in omelette mix) and place trays onto the egg tray.
5. Place the lid on the Egg Creations and insert the power plug into a 230/240 volt power outlet and turn the power on. Press the ‘On/Off’ switch to ‘On’. It will illuminate and the water will begin to boil.
6. The buzzer will sound when the eggs are ready. Press the ‘On/Off’ switch to ‘Off’. Turn the power off at the outlet, and remove eggs/omelettes from steaming trays.

Operating your Breville Egg Creations
Boiling eggs
Up to 7 eggs can be boiled at one time. Maximum egg size that can be used is 70 grams.
Note
1. For soft, medium or hard boiled eggs, fill the measuring cup with cold tap water to the desired level.
Fill the cup with water to the line along side the number of eggs you are cooking.
(The number along side the measuring lines indicates the number of eggs to be boiled).
Pour the water into the heating base.
Less water is used when cooking more eggs. The amount of water used may have to be adjusted to allow for variations in temperature and size of eggs.
Note
2. Pierce the blunt end of the egg using the piercing needle on the underside of the measuring cup base. Piercing the egg prevents the egg shell from cracking during boiling.
3. Place the egg tray onto the heating base and position the eggs on the egg tray.
4. Place the lid on the Egg Creations and insert the plug into a 230/240 volt power outlet and turn the power on. Press the ‘On/Off’ switch to ‘On’. It will illuminate and the water will be brought to the boil.
Allow the Egg Creations to cool down for approximately half an hour before reusing.
Note
5. The buzzer will sound when the eggs are ready. Press the ‘On/Off’ switch to ‘Off’. Turn the power off at the outlet, and remove eggs from the egg tray.

Care and cleaning
8
1. Always turn the power off and remove the plug from the power outlet before cleaning the Egg Creations.
2. The lid, boiling tray, steaming trays and measuring cup can be washed in hot soapy water.
3. We do not recommend any parts of the Breville Egg Creations be cleaned in a dishwasher, as the hot water temperatures and harsh detergents may cause parts to ultimately warp or discolour.
4. The egg cooker body can be wiped over with a damp cloth.
5. Any chalk deposit on the heating base can be removed by placing a cloth immersed in white vinegar on the (cold) boiling plate and allowing it to stand for 10 minutes.
Omelette
1 egg lightly beaten, 1 onion, peeled and chopped 1 slice ham, finely chopped 1 small tomato, finely chopped 1 tablespoon grated cheese pepper to taste
1. Combine all ingredients well.
2. Grease the 2 large steaming trays and pour mixture into both.
3. Cook as directed for poaching/omelettes.
2
DO NOT USE CHEMICALS, STEEL WOOL OR HARSH ABRASIVES TO CLEAN THE NON-STICK SURFACE OF THE EGG COOKER.
