products with the safety of you, our
valued customer, foremost in mind.
In addition we ask that you exercise
a degree of care and adhere to the
following precautions.

FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

• Remove and safely discard
any packaging material and
promotional labels before
using the Vacuum Pump for
the first time.

• Do not place the Vacuum Pump

on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or where it could touch
a heated oven.

• Do not blend any ingredients
while the Vacuum Pump
is operating. Always apply
vacuum before blending.

• Do not blend without having
the vacuum valve assembled
to the inner cap.

• Always ensure the Vacuum Pump
is completely assembled with

four AA batteries properly
inserted before use. The
attachment will not operate unless
properly assembled.

• Ensure the Vacuum Pump is
pressed to OFF before removing
or replacing the batteries.

• Use 4 x AA (1.5V alkaline)
batteries only. No rechargeable
batteries.

• Non-rechargeable batteries
are not to be recharged.

• Batteries are to be inserted
with the correct polarity.

• Exhausted batteries are to be
removed from the appliance
and safely disposed of.

• The supply terminals are not
to be short-circuited.

• Do not incinerate this appliance
even if it is severely damaged.

• Do not put batteries in or
near fire, the batteries can
explode in a fire.

• Always remove the batteries
if the Vacuum Pump will not be
used for six (6) months or longer.

• Do not attempt to operate the
Vacuum Pump by any method
other than those described
in this book.

• Do not place anything on top of
the Vacuum Pump when stored.

• Keep the Vacuum Pump clean.
Follow the cleaning instructions
provided in this book.

• The attachment is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of
the attachment by a person
responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play
with the attachment.

• It is recommended to regularly
inspect the attachment.
To avoid a hazard do not use
the attachment if it becomes
damaged in any way.

with Vacuum Valve to blend
hot liquids.

• The Vacuum Pump is only
intended for use with Breville
blenders that come with
a Vacuum Blend Lid.
