This appliance is suitable for use in a bath or shower.
Batteries
This appliance operates with one AA 1.5 V battery. For best performance,
use an alkaline manganese battery (type LR 6, MN 1500, AM 3, AA).
Different types, brands, chargeable and non-rechargeable, new and used
batteries are not to be used together.
When action (e.g. speed/vibration) reduces, change the battery promptly.
Make sure the appliance is turned off.
Only replace batteries when the appliance is completely dry.
To insert/replace the battery turn trimmer end (3) counter clockwise and
gently pull.
When replacing batteries, follow symbols (+/–). Insert AA battery with (–)
pole up.
Replace trimmer end and gently turn clockwise until trimmer end is
securely in place.
Batteries may explode or leak and cause burn injury if recharged,
disposed of in fire, mixed with a different battery type, inserted backwards
or disassembled.
If batteries leak, wipe device with a damp cloth and wash hands.
If any material gets in eyes, contact a physician immediately.
Remove the batteries before storing your device for extended periods.
Using your trimmer
The appliance can be used with or without trimming comb.
To turn power on, push button (2) to activate the appliance.
To attach one of the trimming combs (1 = 2 mm / 2 = 4 mm / 3 = 6 mm) (5)
insert at 90°, then pivot and click.
To remove trimming comb slide release button (4) forward.
Cleaning and maintenance
For waterproof cleaning open the trimmer door (1) by pressing firmly
against the trimmer teeth. Rinse teeth under warm running water after
each use.
Put a few drops of hair trimmer oil (not included) to help maintain the
trimmer performance at least after every battery change.

At the end of their life, empty batteries and the appliance should not be
discarded with household waste. Please dispose of them according to
national or local regulations.

Braun warrants this Braun appliance to be free of defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase.
If the appliance exhibits such a defect, Braun will, replace it for the
consumer without charge.

authorized Braun Service Center closest to you.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse,
abuse, dirt, water, tampering, unreasonable use, normal wear, servicing
performed or attempted by unauthorized service agencies or failure to
provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, including recharging.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO 2 YEARS FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL
PURCHASE. IN NO EVENT WILL BRAUN BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS
PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not
apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
legal rights which vary from state to state.
