• The Oral-B Triumph is provided with a SmartPlug with

integrated Safety Extra Low Voltage power supply. Do not exchange or manipulate any part of it. Otherwise there is the risk of electric shock. Periodically check the SmartPlug for damage. A damaged or non-functioning appliance shall no longer be used. Take it to an Oral-B Braun Service Centre.

• This product is not intended for use by children under age three.

• If the product is dropped, the brushhead should be replaced before the next use even if no damage is visible.

A convenient travel case (deluxe model only) holds the Oral-B Triumph handle and two Oral-B brushheads (except for Oral-B CrossAction Power and Oral-B Sonic Complete brushheads).

Connecting and char

Oral-B Triumph has a waterproof handle, is electrically safe and is designed for use in the bathroom.

To assemble the base station (h) as a charging unit, detach the base plate (g) first (1, page 3). Place the charging ring into the base station and attach the base plate as shown (2 and 3, page 3). Then insert the protective cover (i) on the back of your base station (see diagram 4, page 3).

• Plug the SmartPlug into an electrical outlet and place the toothbrush handle (d) on the charging unit. Alternatively, Oral-B Triumph can be charged by placing the handle directly into the charging ring while the SmartPlug is plugged in.

• A battery symbol should appear in the SmartDisplay. The

battery symbol will fill up while the handle is being charged and «Charging» will be displayed. When the handle is fully charged, the SmartDisplay shows «Full charge». A full charge takes at least 12 hours and enables approximately two weeks of regular brushing.

Please note: If the battery symbol is not displayed immediately, continue charging. It will appear in 10 - 15 minutes.

• When the rechargeable battery is low, the bars of the battery symbol will disappear and «Low» will be displayed. Your toothbrush will slow down and then stop. It is time to recharge Oral-B Triumph. When the battery is fully discharged, «Empty» is displayed. It will then need a 15-minute charge before you can use it for a 2-minute brushing.

• For everyday use, the toothbrush handle can be stored on the charging unit to maintain it at full power. There is no risk of overcharging the battery.

• To maintain the maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery, unplug the charging unit and fully discharge the handle by regular use at least every 6 months.

Oral-B Triumph is convenient for traveling because you only need the compact SmartPlug charger and an appropriate travel adapter for recharging in foreign countries. The SmartPlug automatically adapts to any voltage worldwide.

Personalizing Oral-B T

Before getting started, you can program your toothbrush so that it meets your specific needs. Oral-B Triumph has innovative Smart Technology that lets you choose the language and the timer that works best for you.

Select your language Oral-B Triumph comes with the English language activated.

If you wish to switch to another language, proceed as follows: Press and hold the brushing mode button (c) until «English» is displayed. By briefly pressing the on/off button (b) you can scroll through 13 different languages. To confirm your desired language, briefly press the brushing mode button again. This will also lead you directly to the timer choice menu.

Select your timer

The «2-Minute Timer» indicates by a long stuttering sound when the dentist recommended 2-minute brushing time has been reached. The «Professional Timer» helps you brush all four quadrants of your mouth equally. It signals with a short stuttering sound at 30-second intervals that it is time to move to the next quadrant of your mouth, followed by a long stuttering sound when you reach the recommended two minute mark.

Oral-B Triumph comes with the «Professional Timer» activated. If you wish to switch to the «2-Minute Timer» after you have confirmed the language, simply press the on/off button to change the setting. Then press the brushing mode button to confirm your choice.

Using Oral-B T

Attach an Oral-B brushhead to the handle. You can use any kind of toothpaste. To avoid splashing, guide the brushhead to your teeth before switching the appliance on.

Brushing technique

• Guide the brushhead slowly from tooth to tooth.

• Hold the brushhead in place for a few seconds before moving on to the next tooth.

• Brush the gums as well as the teeth, first the outsides, then the insides, finally the chewing surfaces.

• Do not press too hard or scrub, simply let the brush do all the work.

To help you get optimum brushing results, Oral-B Triumph has a pressure control feature to ensure that the right degree of pressure is applied. This helps protect your gums from excessive brushing and makes your toothbrush easy to operate. If too much pressure is applied, the oscillating movement of the brushhead will continue but the pulsation will stop. In addition to feeling the change, you can also hear a different sound.

Brushing modes Oral-B Triumph offers different brushing modes for varying

oral care needs: «Clean» – Exceptional mouth cleaning. «Soft» – Gentle, yet thorough cleaning for

sensitive areas. «Massage» – Gentle stimulation of gums. «Polish» (deluxe – Exceptional polishing and natural model only) whitening for occasional or everyday

use.

How to switch between brushing modes:

• Oral-B Triumph automatically starts in the «Clean» mode

when pressing the on/off button.

• To shift from the «Clean» to the «Soft» mode, press the

brushing mode button once.

• If you wish to switch to the «Massage» mode, press the

brushing mode button again and let the brushhead pulse against your gum line.

• The «Polish» mode (deluxe model only) is best used with a

ProBright brushhead. Once the ProBright is attached, press the on/off button and your toothbrush automatically starts in the «Polish» mode (please see «Brushheads»).

• To return from any other mode to the «Clean» mode, press

and hold the brushing mode button.

• To turn your brush off, press the on/off button.

During brushing, the SmartDisplay shows the brushing mode you have selected, followed by your actual brushing time. When you finish brushing, the total brushing time will be displayed for 30 seconds before the display switches back to the battery charge level. To directly get to the battery charge level display, you can clear the brushing time display by pushing the brushing mode button.

In the first few days of using Oral-B Triumph, your gums may bleed slightly. In general, bleeding should stop after a few days. Should it persist after 2 weeks, please consult your dentist or hygienist. If you have sensitive teeth and gums, Oral-B recommends using the «Soft» mode.

Brushheads

The Oral-B MicroPulse and ProBright brushheads contain a «smart chip» to communicate with the electronics inside the Oral-B Triumph handle. The «smart chip» works for you, automatically switching to the appropriate brushing mode for the attached brushhead. Nevertheless, you can select other brushing modes to customize your routine.

Oral-B Micr The Oral-B MicroPulse brushhead is recommended for everyday deep cleaning. It features MicroPulse bristles that get deep in hard-to-reach areas between your teeth, gently removing hidden plaque. The brushhead’s outer bristles surround each tooth, providing exceptional overall plaque removal.

oBright brushhead (deluxe model only) The ProBright brushhead is for occasional or everyday polishing. It features a dentist-inspired polishing cup to remove stains from coffee, tea and tobacco for effective brightening.

We do not recommend using the ProBright or Oral-B MicroPulse brushhead with braces. The Oral-B Ortho brushhead is specifically designed to clean around braces and wires and can be used with Oral-B Triumph.

Oral-B Triumph has Smart Technology that helps you

remember when to replace your brushhead to get optimum results. Dentists recommend that you change your brushhead every three months. As soon as your Oral-B MicroPulse or ProBright brushhead has surpassed the recommended usage, the SmartDisplay shows «Replace Brushhead». Replace with a new brushhead to get optimum brushing results. If you notice unusual wear before receiving the «Replace Brushhead» message, replace your brushhead immediately.

running water.

• Remove the brushhead from the handle and clean both

parts separately under running water. Then wipe them dry before you put the handle on the charging unit.

Anschließen und Laden

Die Oral-B Triumph verfügt über ein wasserfestes Handstück, ist elektrisch sicher und für die Benutzung im Bad ausgelegt.

Um die Basisstation (h) als Ladeteil zusammenzusetzen, nehmen Sie zunächst die Basisplatte (g) ab (1, Seite 3). Platzieren Sie den Ladering in der Basisstation und bringen Sie die Basisplatte wie gezeigt (2 und 3, Seite 3) an. Setzen Sie anschließend die Schutzabdeckung (i) an der Rückseite Ihrer Basisstation ein (siehe Darstellung 4, Seite 3).

• Schließen Sie das SmartPlug Ladeteil an die Netzspannung an und setzen Sie das Handstück der Zahnbürste (d) auf das Ladeteil. Alternativ kann die Oral-B Triumph aufgeladen werden, indem das Handstück direkt in den Ladering gesetzt wird, während das SmartPlug Ladeteil angeschlossen ist.

• Im SmartDisplay erscheint das Symbol einer Batterie. Das Batteriesymbol füllt sich, während das Handstück geladen wird und «Aufladen» wird angezeigt. Wenn das Handstück vollständig aufgeladen ist, zeigt das SmartDisplay «Voll geladen» an. Der Akku ist nach mindestens 12 Stunden aufgeladen und hält für ca. zwei Wochen bei regulärem Putzen.

Bitte beachten Sie Folgendes: Falls das Batteriesymbol nicht unmittelbar angezeigt wird, setzen Sie den Ladevorgang fort. Es erscheint nach 10 – 15 Minuten.

• Wenn der Akku leer wird, verschwinden die Balken des Batteriesymbols und «Niedrig» wird angezeigt. Ihre Zahnbürste läuft langsamer und stoppt schließlich. Es ist Zeit, die Oral-B Triumph wiederaufzuladen. Wenn der Akku vollständig entladen ist, wird «Leer» angezeigt. In diesem Fall ist ein Ladevorgang von 15 Minuten notwendig, bevor Sie die Zahnbürste für einen Putzvorgang von 2 Minuten benutzen können.

• Für den täglichen Gebrauch kann das Handstück der Zahnbürste auf dem Ladeteil stehen, damit es immer die maximale Leistung bereit hält. Es besteht keine Gefahr, den Akku zu überladen.

• Um die maximale Kapazität des Akkus zu erhalten, trennen Sie das Ladeteil mindestens alle 6 Monate vom Netz und entladen Sie das Handstück vollständig durch reguläre Benutzung.

Die Oral-B Triumph ist praktisch auf Reisen, da Sie zum Wiederaufladen im Ausland lediglich das kompakte SmartPlug Ladeteil und einen passenden Reiseadapter benötigen. Das SmartPlug Ladeteil passt sich automatisch an jede Spannung weltweit an.

Sprache wählen

Bei Lieferung der Oral-B Triumph ist die Sprache Englisch aktiviert. Falls Sie auf eine andere Sprache umschalten möchten, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Halten Sie die Putzart-Taste (c) gedrückt, bis «English» angezeigt wird. Durch kurzes Drücken der Ein-/Aus-Taste (b) können Sie durch 13 verschiedene Sprachen blättern. Um die von Ihnen gewünschte Sprache zu bestätigen, drücken Sie erneut kurz die Putzart-Taste. Dadurch gelangen Sie auch direkt in das Menü für die Timer-Auswahl.

Timer wählen

Der «2-Minuten-Timer» zeigt durch ein längeres stotterndes Geräusch an, wann die von Zahnärzten empfohlene zweiminütige Mindestputzzeit erreicht worden ist. Der «Professional Timer» hilft Ihnen dabei, alle vier Quadranten Ihres Mundes gleichmäßig zu putzen. Er signalisiert mit einem kurzen stotternden Geräusch in Abständen von 30 Sekunden, dass es Zeit ist, zum nächsten Quadranten überzugehen. Darauf folgt ein längeres stotterndes Geräusch, wenn Sie die Zwei-Minuten-Grenze erreicht haben.

Bei Lieferung der Oral-B Triumph ist der «Professional Timer» aktiviert. Falls Sie auf den «2-Minuten-Timer» umschalten möchten, nachdem Sie die Sprache bestätigt haben, drücken Sie lediglich die Ein-/Aus-Taste, um die Einstellung zu ändern. Drücken Sie anschließend die Putzart-Taste, um Ihre Auswahl zu bestätigen.

Putztechnik

• Führen Sie die Bürste langsam von Zahn zu Zahn.

• Halten Sie die Bürste einige Sekunden lang an einer Stelle, bevor Sie zum nächsten Zahn übergehen.

• Führen Sie die Bürste über Zähne und Zahnfleisch, beginnen Sie mit den Außenflächen, gehen Sie dann über zu den Innenflächen und putzen Sie schließlich auch die Kauflächen.

• Sie brauchen die Bürste nicht fest aufzudrücken. Die Zahnbürste sorgt automatisch für die richtige Putzbewegung.

Damit Sie optimale Putzergebnisse erzielen können, verfügt die Oral-B Triumph über eine Andruckkontrolle, um sicher- zustellen, dass das richtige Maß an Druck angewendet wird. Dies schützt Ihr Zahnfleisch vor übermäßigem Putzen und erleichtert die Handhabung Ihrer Zahnbürste. Wenn Sie die Bürste zu fest andrücken, werden die ultraschnellen Seitwärtsbewegungen fortgesetzt, aber die sanft pulsierenden Vor- und Rückwärtsbewegungen setzen aus. Das dadurch veränderte Laufgeräusch zeigt an, dass sie den Druck vermindern sollten.

Putzarten

Während des Putzvorgangs zeigt das SmartDisplay die von Ihnen gewählte Putzart an, gefolgt von der tatsächlichen Putzzeit. Wenn Sie mit dem Putzen aufhören, wird 30 Sekunden lang die Gesamtputzzeit angezeigt, ehe das Display auf den Akkuladestand zurückspringt. Um direkt zur Anzeige des Akkuladestands zu gelangen, können Sie die Anzeige der Putzzeit löschen, indem Sie die Putzart-Taste drücken.

In den ersten Tagen der Verwendung der Oral-B Triumph kann es zu leichtem Zahnfleischbluten kommen, was jedoch in der Regel nach einigen Tagen aufhört. Falls es länger als 2 Wochen andauert, sollten Sie Ihren Zahnarzt aufsuchen. Wenn Sie empfindliche Zähne und empfindliches Zahnfleisch haben, empfiehlt Oral-B, die Putzart «Sanft» anzuwenden.

Aufsteckbürsten

Die Aufsteckbürsten Oral-B MicroPulse und ProBright enthalten einen sogenannten «Smart Chip», um mit der Elektronik im Innern des Handstücks der Oral-B Triumph zu kommunizieren. Der «Smart Chip» nimmt Ihnen Arbeit ab, indem er automatisch auf die für die aufgesteckte Bürste geeignete Putzart umschaltet. Nichtsdestotrotz können Sie andere Putzarten auswählen, um Ihre Putzgewohnheiten individuell anzupassen.

Aufsteckbürste Oral-B Micr Die Aufsteckbürste Oral-B MicroPulse wird für die tägliche Tiefenreinigung empfohlen. Sie verfügt über MicroPulseBorsten, die an schwer zu erreichende Stellen zwischen Ihren Zähnen vordringen und die nicht sichtbare Plaque schonend entfernen. Die äußeren Borsten der Aufsteckbürste umschließen jeden Zahn und sorgen für eine außergewöhnliche Gesamtentfernung der Plaque.

Reinigungsempfehlungen

• Spülen Sie Ihre Aufsteckbürste nach jedem Gebrauch

Pour assembler le socle (h) et en faire une unité de recharge, détachez tout d’abord la plaque support (g) (1, page 3). Posez la bague de recharge dans la station de recharge et fixez la plaque support comme le montrent les figures (2 et 3, page 3). Ensuite, emboîtez le couvercle de protection (i) sur l’arrière du socle (voir schéma 4, page 3).

• Insérez la fiche SmartPlug dans une prise secteur et placez la poignée de la brosse à dents (d) sur l’unité de recharge. En alternative, vous pouvez (re)charger l’ en insérant la poignée directement dans la bague de recharge lorsque la fiche SmartPlug est branchée sur le secteur.

• Un symbole de batterie doit apparaître sur l’affichage SmartDisplay. Le symbole de la batterie se remplit pendant que la poignée est en charge et l’affichage indique « Chargement ». Lorsque la poignée est complètement chargée, l’affichage SmartDisplay indique « Chargé ». Une recharge complète demande au moins 12 heures et permet environ deux semaines de brossage régulier.

Remarque : si le symbole de la batterie ne s’affiche pas immédiatement, continuez à charger. Il apparaîtra dans les 10 à 15 minutes.

• Lorsque la charge de l’accumulateur est faible, les barres du symbole de batterie disparaissent et l’afficheur indique « Bas ». Dans ce cas, votre brosse à dents ralentira et s’arrêtera. Il est alors temps de recharger l’Oral-B Triumph. Lorsque l’accumulateur est complètement déchargé, l’affichage indique « Vide ». Dans ce cas, l’appareil demandera une recharge de 15 minutes pour permettre un brossage de 2 minutes.

• En utilisation quotidienne, vous pouvez laisser la poignée insérée dans l’unité de recharge de manière à la maintenir à pleine charge. Il n’y a aucun risque de surcharge de l’accumulateur.

• Pour conserver la capacité de l’accumulateur à son niveau maximum, débranchez l’unité de recharge une fois tous les 6 mois et déchargez la poignée complètement en l’utilisant normalement.

Choisissez votre langue Oral-B Triumph est fourni avec l’anglais activé comme

langue par défaut. Si vous souhaitez changer de langue, procédez comme suit : Appuyez sur le bouton Mode de brossage (c) et continuez d’appuyer jusqu’à ce que la mention « English » s’affiche. En appuyant brièvement sur le bouton marche/arrêt (b) vous pouvez faire défiler 13 langues différentes. Pour confirmer la langue de votre choix, appuyez à nouveau brièvement sur le bouton Mode de brossage. Ceci vous conduira en outre directement au choix du minuteur.

Choisissez votre minuteur

Le « minuteur 2 minutes » vous indique, par une longue suite de bips sonores que la durée de brossage de 2 minutes, recommandée par le dentiste, est atteinte. Le « minuteur professionnel » vous aide à brosser les quatre quadrants de votre bouche de manière uniforme. Il signalise par une brève suite de bips sonores, répétée à 30 secondes d’intervalle, qu’il est temps de passer à un autre quadrant de la bouche et ensuite, par une longue suite de bips sonores, que vous avez atteint la limite des deux minutes recommandées.

Oral-B Triumph est fourni avec le « minuteur professionnel » activé. Si vous souhaitez passer au « minuteur 2 minutes » après avoir confirmé la langue de votre choix, il vous suffit d’appuyer sur le bouton marche/arrêt pour changer la configuration. Puis appuyez sur le bouton Mode de brossage pour confirmer votre choix.

Technique de brossage

• Déplacez lentement la brossette d’une dent à l’autre.

• Maintenez la brossette en place quelques secondes avant de passer à la dent suivante.

• Brossez les gencives aussi bien que les dents, d’abord les faces avant, puis les faces arrières pour terminer par les faces occlusales.

• N’appuyez pas trop fort et ne frottez pas, laissez simplement la brosse faire tout le travail.

Pour vous aider à obtenir les meilleurs résultats de soins bucco-dentaires, Oral-B Triumph est doté d’une fonction de contrôle de la pression qui garantit que la pression exercée est correcte. Grâce à cette aide, vous évitez de brosser vos gencives trop fort et votre brosse à dents est facile à manipuler. Si une trop forte pression est exercée, le mouvement oscillant de la brossette continue mais la pulsation est stoppée. Vous ressentirez un changement dans le brossage et vous entendrez un son différent.

Comment passer d’un mode de brossage à l’autre :

• Oral-B Triumph se positionne automatiquement en

mode « Nettoyer » quand vous appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt.

• Pour basculer du mode « Nettoyer » au mode « Doux »,

appuyez une fois sur le bouton Mode de brossage.

• Si vous souhaitez basculer en mode « Massage », appuyez

à nouveau sur le bouton Mode de brossage et laissez la brossette vibrer contre vos gencives.

• Le mode « Polir » (uniquement sur le modèle de luxe)

est utilisé de manière optimale avec la brossette ProBright. Après avoir monté la brossette ProBright, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt et votre brosse à dents est activée automatiquement en mode « Polir » (voir « Brossettes »).

• Pour revenir d’un mode quelconque au mode « Nettoyer »,

appuyez sur le bouton Mode de brossage et maintenez-le appuyé.

• Pour éteindre votre brosse, appuyez sur le bouton

Lors du brossage, l’affichage SmartDisplay indique le mode de brossage sélectionné, suivi du temps de brossage effectif. A la fin du brossage, le temps global de brossage sera indiqué pendant 30 secondes, puis l’affichage indiquera à nouveau le niveau de charge de l’accumulateur. Pour accéder directement à l’affichage du niveau de charge de l’accumulateur, vous pouvez faire disparaître l’affichage du temps de brossage en poussant le bouton Mode de brossage.

Pendant les premiers jours d’utilisation de vos gencives peuvent saigner légèrement. En règle générale, les saignements devraient cesser au bout de quelques jours. Si les saignements persistent plus de 2 semaines, consultez votre dentiste ou votre spécialiste en hygiène bucco-dentaire. Si vous avez des dents ou des gencives sensibles, Oral-B recommande l’utilisation du mode « Doux ».

Brossettes

Les brossettes Oral-B MicroPulse et ProBright contiennent une « puce intelligente » pour communiquer avec l’électronique à l’intérieur de la poignée de l’Oral-B Triumph. La « puce intelligente » travaille pour vous, en sélectionnant automatiquement le mode de brossage adapté à la brossette montée. Toutefois, vous pouvez choisir d’autres modes de brossage pour personnaliser votre brossage habituel.

Recommandations d’entr

• Après le brossage, rincez avec soin la brossette à l’eau courante.

• Retirez la brossette de la poignée et nettoyez les deux éléments séparément à l’eau courante. Puis essuyez-les avant de reposer la poignée sur l’unité de recharge.

• Avant de nettoyer l’unité de recharge, assurez-vous de la démonter au préalable. La bague de recharge et la fiche SmartPlug ne doivent jamais vaisselle. Par contre, tous les autres éléments (socle, plaque support et couvercle de protection) supportent la machine à laver la vaisselle.

• Vous pouvez aussi nettoyer la bague de recharge et la fiche SmartPlug avec un chiffon humide de temps à autre. Le chargeur SmartPlug ne doit jamais être mis dans l’eau.

Collegamento e ricarica

Oral-B Triumph ha un manico impermeabile, è sicuro dal punto di vista elettrico ed è appositamente studiato per l’uso in bagno.

Per assemblare la base (h) nell’unità di ricarica staccare innanzitutto la piastra base (g) (1, pagina 3). Collocare l’anello di ricarica nella base e collegare la piastra base come illustrato (2 e 3, pagina 3). Quindi inserire la copertura protettiva (i) sul retro della base (vedi figura 4, pagina 3).

• Inserire la SmartPlug in una presa elettrica e collocare il manico dello spazzolino (d) sul caricatore. In alternativa caricare Oral-B Triumph collocando il manico direttamente nell’anello di carica con la SmartPlug inserita.

• Sullo SmartDisplay dovrebbe apparire il simbolo di una batteria. Mentre il manico viene caricato il simbolo della batteria si riempie e viene visualizzato «in Carica». Una volta che il manico è completamente carico, lo SmartDisplay visualizza «Piena carica». Una carica completa richiede almeno 12 ore e consente circa due settimane di uso normale.

Nota bene: se il simbolo della batteria non viene visualizzato immediatamente, continuare il caricamento; apparirà dopo 10 – 15 minuti.

• Quando la batteria ricaricabile è bassa, le barre del simbolo corrispondente scompaiono per visualizzare «Bassa carica». Lo spazzolino rallenterà fino a fermarsi. È il momento di ricaricare Oral-B Triumph. Quando la batteria è completamente scarica viene visualizzato «Scarico». Per poter usare lo spazzolino per 2 minuti sarà quindi necessaria una carica di 15 minuti.

• Per l’uso quotidiano è possibile lasciare il manico dello spazzolino sulla base in modo da conservare la carica completa. Non c’è rischio di sovraccaricare la batteria.

• Per preservare la massima capacità della batteria ricaricabile, scollegare l’unità di ricarica e utilizzare lo spazzolino normalmente fino al completo scaricamento almeno una volta ogni 6 mesi.

Oral-B Triumph è comodo da portare in viaggio dal momento che richiede solo il caricatore compatto SmartPlug ed un adattatore specifico per la ricarica all’estero. La SmartPlug si adatta automaticamente a tutti i tipi di alimentazione.

Selezione della lingua

2 minuti

La lingua standard impostata su Oral-B Triumph è l’Inglese. Se si desidera cambiare lingua, procedere come descritto sotto: Tenere premuto il pulsante di modalità spazzolino (c) fino a che viene visualizzato «English». Premendo brevemente il pulsante acceso/spento (b) è possibile scorrere 13 lingue diverse. Per confermare la lingua desiderata, premere ancora brevemente il pulsante di modalità spazzolino fino ad accedere direttamente al menu di selezione timer.

Selezione del timer

Il «Timer 2 minuti» emette un segnale acustico prolungato allo scadere del tempo d’uso di 2 minuti raccomandato dai dentisti. Il «Timer Professionl.» vi aiuta a trattare in modo uniforme tutti e quattro i quadranti della bocca. Ad intervalli di 30 secondi indica con un breve segnale acustico che è necessario passare al quadrante successivo della bocca; una volta raggiunta la tacca dei due minuti raccomandati segue un segnale acustico prolungato.

Su Oral-B Triumph il «Timer Professionl.» è attivato di default. Dopo aver confermato la lingua per passare al «Timer 2 minuti» è sufficiente premere il pulsante on/off e modificare l’impostazione. Successivamente, premere il pulsante della modalità spazzolino per confermare la selezione.

Tecnica d’uso dello spazzolino

• passare lentamente la testina da dente a dente

• mantenere la testina sulla posizione per alcuni secondi prima di passare oltre

• oltre ai denti spazzolare anche le gengive, prima l’esterno, quindi l’interno, infine le superfici di masticazione

• non premere troppo forte né strofinare, è sufficiente lasciare che lo spazzolino svolga la propria azione

Per aiutarvi a ottenere risultati ottimali, Oral-B Triumph è dotato di una funzione di controllo che garantisce l’applicazione del corretto grado di pressione. Questa caratteristica contribuisce a difendere le gengive da un’azione eccessiva semplificando l’uso dello spazzolino. Se si applica troppa pressione, il movimento oscillante della testina continua, ma la pulsazione viene sospesa. Inoltre, per sottolineare la differenza, si avverte un suono diverso.

esigenze di igiene orale: «Pulizia» – per un’igiene orale eccezionale. «Delicato» – per un’igiene delicata ma profonda

delle zone sensibili. «Massaggio» – stimola delicatamente le gengive. «Lucidatura» (solo – lucida e sbianca in modo naturale; modello deluxe) per uso occasionale o per tutti i giorni.

Durante l’uso lo SmartDisplay visualizza la modalità selezionata seguita dal tempo attuale. Una volta terminato verrà visualizzato il tempo d’uso totale per 30 secondi prima che il display torni al livello di carica della batteria. Per arrivare direttamente al display del livello di carica della batteria è possibile cancellare il display del tempo spazzolino premendo il pulsante modalità spazzolino.

Nei primi giorni di uso di Oral-B Triumph le gengive possono sanguinare leggermente. In generale il fenomeno dovrebbe cessare dopo alcuni giorni. Se dovesse persistere anche trascorse 2 settimane si prega di consultare il proprio dentista o igienista. In caso di denti e gengive sensibili, Oral-B raccomanda l’uso della modalità «Delicato».

Le testine Oral-B MicroPulse e ProBright contengono uno «smart chip» che comunica con l’elettronica all’interno del manico dell’Oral-B Triumph. Lo «smart chip» lavora per voi, passando automaticamente alla modalità corretta in base alla testina installata. È comunque possibile selezionare altre modalità d’uso per personalizzare il proprio programma di igiene orale.

È dotata di setole MicroPulse che penetrano in zone tra i denti difficili da raggiungere, rimovendo delicatamente la placca nascosta. Le setole esterne dello spazzolino circondano ogni dente, garantendo una rimozione totale della placca.

(solo modello deluxe) La testina ProBright è stata studiata per lucidare i denti, occasionalmente oppure tutti i giorni. È dotata di una coppa lucidante simile a quella utilizzata dai dentisti per rimuovere macchie di caffè, tè e tabacco per un effetto di estrema luminosità.

È sconsigliabile utilizzare la testina ProBright o Oral-B MicroPulse in caso di apparecchi ortodontici. Con Oral-B Triumph è possibile utilizzare la testina Oral-B Ortho, studiata specificamente per pulire le zone circostanti apparecchi e mollette.

Oral-B Triumph è dotato di una tecnologia intelligente che

segnala quando sostituire la testina per mantenere risultati ottimali. I dentisti ne raccomandano la sostituzione ogni tre mesi. Non appena la testina Oral-B MicroPulse o ProBright supera il periodo d’uso raccomandato, lo SmartDisplay visualizza «Sostituire Spazzolino». Per ottenere risultati di

pulizia ottimali sostituire con una nuova testina. Se prima di ricevere il messaggio «Sostituire Spazzolino» si notasse un’usura inconsueta, provvedere immediatamente alla sostituzione.

Raccomandazioni per l’igiene

• Dopo l’uso, risciacquare accuratamente la testina sotto acqua corrente.

• Rimuovere la testina dal manico e pulire separatamente le due parti sotto acqua corrente. Quindi asciugarle con un panno prima di collocare il manico sulla base.

• Prima di pulire l’unità di ricarica assicurarsi di averla smontata. L’anello di carica e la SmartPlug non devono mai

essere messi in lavastoviglie; tutte le altre parti (base, piastra base e copertura protettiva) possono invece andare in lavastoviglie.

• Di tanto in tanto è possibile pulire l’anello di carica e la SmartPlug anche con un panno umido. Il caricatore SmartPlug non deve mai essere messo in acqua.
