•Das Gerät ist für Kinder unter 3 Jahren nicht geeignet.

•Achten Sie bei der Entnahme des Akkus darauf, dass Plusund Minuspol nicht miteinander in Berührung kommen. Es besteht sonst die Gefahr eines Kurzschlusses.

•Stecken Sie niemals Kleinteile in irgendwelche Öffnungen des Gerätes und Ladeteils.

•Berühren Sie den Stecker nicht mit feuchten Händen. Es besteht sonst Stromschlaggefahr.

Anschließen und Laden

Ihre Zahnbürste hat ein wasserfestes Handstück, ist elektrisch sicher und kann ohne Bedenken im Bad benutzt werden.

•Schließen Sie das Ladeteil (g) oder die montierte Ladestation (siehe Bild B/C, Seite 2) an die Netzspannung an und setzen Sie das Handstück (d) auf das Ladeteil.

•Die grüne Ladekontrollleuchte (e) blinkt während des Aufladevorganges. Wenn die Zahnbürste vollständig aufgeladen ist, leuchtet die grüne Ladekontrollleuchte für die Dauer von ca. 5 Sekunden und erlischt. Ein kompletter Ladevorgang dauert mindestens

17 Stunden und ermöglicht Ihnen eine Nutzung von bis zu einer Woche bei täglichem Putzen (zweimal pro Tag für 2 Minuten).

•Die Niedrig-Ladekontrollleuchte (f) beginnt zu blinken, wenn der Ladezustand des Akkus niedrig ist.

•Um jederzeit die maximale Akku-Leistung zu gewährleisten, kann das Handstück der Zahnbürste im täglichen Gebrauch auf dem Ladeteil stehen. Ein Überladen ist nicht möglich. Im Sinne des Umweltschutzes empfiehlt Oral-B, das Ladegerät vom Stromnetz zu trennen, bis der nächste Ladevorgang nötig ist.

•Um die maximale Kapazität des Akkus zu erhalten, trennen Sie mindestens alle 6 Monate das Ladeteil vom Netz und entladen Sie das Handstück vollständig durch tägliche Benutzung.

Anmerkung: Sollte die Ladekontrollleuchte beim Ladevorgang nicht sofort blinken, setzen Sie den Ladevorgang fort. Die Leuchte wird nach 10–15 Minuten blinken.

Benutzung

Sie können die Zahnbürste mit einer beliebigen Zahnpasta Ihrer Wahl verwenden. Um ein Verspritzen der Zahnpasta zu vermeiden, führen Sie die Bürste an die Zähne, bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten. Führen Sie nun die Zahnbürste langsam von Zahn zu Zahn und halten Sie den Bürstenkopf für einige Sekunden auf der Zahnoberfläche bevor Sie zum nächsten Zahn übergehen. Putzen Sie das Zahnfleisch ebenso wie die Zähne; zuerst die Außenseiten, dann die Innenseiten und zuletzt die Kauflächen. Drücken Sie nicht zu fest auf, lassen Sie Ihre Zahnbürste das Putzen für Sie übernehmen.

Umschalten zwischen den Reinigungsstufen:

•Ihre Zahnbürste startet automatisch in der Reinigungsstufe «Reinigen».

•Um von der Reinigungsstufe «Reinigen» in die Reinigungsstufen «Sensitiv» und «Polieren» zu wechseln, drücken sie hintereinander den Ein-/Ausschalter.

•Drücken Sie in der Reinigungsstufe «Polieren» den Ein-/Aus- schalter, schaltet sich das Gerät aus.

•Wenn Sie das Gerät in der Reinigungsstufe «Reinigen» oder «Sensitiv» ausschalten möchten, halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter so lange gedrückt, bis der Motor stoppt.

Visuelle Andruckkontrolle

Ihre Zahnbürste verfügt über eine Andruckkontrolle, um Ihre Zähne und das Zahnfleisch noch besser zu schützen. Sollten Sie beim Putzen zuviel Druck ausüben, leuchtet die rote Andruckkontrollleuchte (b). Außerdem verändert sich das Laufgeräusch Ihrer Zahnbürste. Wir empfehlen, die Funktion der Andruckkontrollleuchte von Zeit zu Zeit zu überprüfen, indem Sie im eingeschalteten Zustand leicht gegen den Bürstenkopf Ihrer Zahnbürste drücken.

Professional Timer

Ein kurzes, stotterndes Geräusch erinnert Sie in 30-Sekunden- Intervallen, alle vier Kieferquadranten gleich lang zu putzen. Ein längeres, stotterndes Geräusch zeigt das Erreichen der vom Zahnarzt empfohlenen zweiminütigen Putzzeit an. Beide Timer speichern die ausgeführte Putzzeit, selbst wenn das Handstück während des Putzens kurz ausgeschaltet wird. Der Timer wird in die Ausgangsstellung zurückgesetzt, wenn die Unterbrechung länger als 30 Sekunden andauert.

In den ersten Tagen der Verwendung Ihrer Zahnbürste kann es zu leichtem Zahnfleischbluten kommen. In der Regel hört dies nach einigen Tagen auf. Falls es länger als 2 Wochen andauert, sollten Sie Ihren Zahnarzt aufsuchen. Wenn Sie empfindliches Zahnfleisch oder Zähne haben, empfehlen wir den Gebrauch der Reinigungsstufe «Sensitiv».

Reinigung

•Spülen Sie die Aufsteckbürste nach jedem Gebrauch bei eingeschaltetem Handstück gründlich unter fließendem Wasser für einige Sekunden ab.

•Schalten Sie das Handstück aus und entfernen Sie die Aufsteckbürste. Spülen Sie beide Teile separat unter fließendem Wasser und trocknen Sie diese dann ab.

•Um das Ladeteil zu reinigen, sollten Sie die Ladestation zunächst auseinanderbauen. Legen Sie das Ladeteil nie in Wasser oder in den Geschirrspüler. Reinigen Sie dieses nur mit einem feuchten Tuch.

•Der Aufsteckbürstenhalter sowie die Aufbewahrungsbox mit Deckel sind spülmaschinenfest.

Connecting and charging

Your toothbrush has a waterproof handle, is electrically safe and designed for use in the bathroom.

•Plug the basic charger (g) or the assembled charging unit (see picture B/C, page 2) into an electrical outlet and place the toothbrush handle (d) on the charging unit.

•The green charge indicator light (e) flashes while the handle is being charged. Once it is fully charged, the green charge indicator light shines continuously for 5 seconds; then it turns off. A full charge takes at least 17 hours and enables approximately one week of regular brushing (twice a day, 2 minutes).

•When the rechargeable battery is low, the red low charge indicator light (f) starts blinking after turning off.

•For everyday use, the toothbrush handle can be stored on the charging unit to maintain it at full power. Overcharging is impossible. However, for environmental reasons, Oral-B recommends to unplug the charger until the next recharge is required.

•To maintain the maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery, unplug the charging unit and fully discharge the handle with regular use at least every 6 months.

Please note: If the charge indicator light is not flashing immediately, continue charging. It will appear in 10–15 minutes.

Using your toothbrush

You can use any kind of toothpaste. To avoid splashing, guide the brush head to your teeth before switching on the appliance. Guide the brush head slowly from tooth to tooth, spending a few seconds on each tooth surface. Brush the gums as well as the teeth, first the outsides, then the insides, finally the chewing surfaces. Do not press too hard or scrub, simply let the brush do all the work.

Brushing modes (depending on model)

«Daily Clean»	–	Exceptional mouth cleaning.
«Sensitive»	– Gentle, yet thorough cleaning for sensitive
		areas.
«Polish/Whitening»	–	Exceptional polishing for occasional or
		everyday use.

How to switch between modes:

•When pressing the on/off button (c) your toothbrush automatically starts in the «Daily Clean» mode.

•To switch to the «Sensitive» and «Polish/Whitening» mode, successively press the on/off button.

•To turn off your toothbrush from the «Polish/Whitening» mode, push the on/off button once more.

•If you wish to turn off your toothbrush from the «Daily Clean» or «Sensitive» mode, push and hold down the on/off button until the motor stops.

Pressure Sensor

Helping protect your teeth and gums from hard brushing, your toothbrush has a pressure control feature installed. If too much pressure is applied, the red pressure sensor light (b) will light reminding you to reduce pressure. In addition you will also hear a different sound while brushing. Periodically check the operation of the pressure sensor by pressing lightly on the brush head during use.

Professional Timer

A short stuttering sound at 30-second intervals reminds you to brush equally all four quadrants of your mouth.

A long stuttering sound indicates the end of the professionally recommended 2-minute brushing time. The elapsed brushing time is memorised when the handle is briefly switched off during brushing. When pausing longer than 30 seconds the timer resets.

In the first few days of using your toothbrush, your gums may bleed slightly. In general, bleeding should stop after a few days. Should it persist after 2 weeks, please consult your dentist or dental hygienist. If you have sensitive teeth and gums, Oral-B recommends using the «Sensitive» mode.

Cleaning recommendations

•After brushing, rinse your brush head or accessory carefully under running water for some seconds with the handle switched on.

•Switch off the handle and remove the brush head or accessory. Clean both parts separately under running water then wipe them dry before reassembling the toothbrush.

•Disassemble charging unit before cleaning. Never place the charger in dishwasher or water; it should be cleaned with a damp cloth only.

•Brush head holder, brush head compartment and protective cover are dishwasher-safe.

•Quand vous remplacez les piles, procédez avec soin pour éviter de court-circuiter les pôles positifs et négatifs.

Branchement et chargement

Votre brosse à dents est dotée d’un manche étanche, elle est d’une sécurité électrique absolue et est conçue pour être utilisée dans une salle de bain.

•Branchez le chargeur (g) ou l’unité de chargement assemblée (voir schéma B/C, page 2) dans une prise électrique et placer le manche de la brosse à dent (d) sur l’unité de chargement.

•L’indicateur de charge clignote en vert pendant la charge. Une fois le chargement terminé, l’indicateur de charge s’allume en continue pendant 5 secondes puis s’éteint. Un chargement complet prend environ 17 heures et dure environ une semaine (2 brossages par jour pendant 2 minutes).

•Quand la charge est faible l’indicateur de faible charge clignote en rouge après l’arrêt.

•En utilisation quotidienne, le manche de la brosse à dents peut être posé sur l’unité de recharge de manière à le maintenir à pleine charge. Il n’y a aucun risque de surcharge de l’accumulateur. Cependant dans un souci de protection de l’environnement, Oral-B vous recommande de débrancher l’unité de chargement jusqu’à la prochaine charge.

•Pour conserver la capacité de l’accumulateur à son niveau maximum, débranchez l’unité de recharge au moins une fois tous les six mois et déchargez complètement le manche en l’utilisant normalement.

A noter : Si l’indicateur de charge ne clignote pas immédiatement, continuer le chargement. Il devrait apparaitre dans les 10 ou 15 minutes.

Utilisez votre brosse à dents

Vous pouvez utiliser tous types de dentifrices. Pour éviter les éclaboussures, placez la brossette sur vos dents avant de mettre la brosse à dents en marche. Guidez ensuite la brossette doucement d’une dent à l’autre, en passant quelques secondes sur la surface de chaque dent. Brossez également les gencives, l’extérieur puis l’intérieur et enfin les surfaces de mastication. N’appuyez pas trop fort, ne frottez pas, laissez simplement la brosse à dents faire le travail.

Modes de brossage (selon le modèle)

« Propreté »	– Hygiène exceptionnelle des dents et des
	gencives.
« Douceur »	– Nettoyage des zones sensibles en douceur
	mais en profondeur.
« Polissage/	– Polissage exceptionnel et blanchiment naturel
Blanchiment »	des dents, pour un usage occasionnel ou
	quotidien.

Comment passer d’un mode à un autre :

•Quand vous pressez le bouton marche/arrêt (c) votre brosse à dents se met en marche directement en mode « Propreté »

•Pour passer au mode « Douceur » ou « Polissage/ Blanchiment », pressez de nouveau le bouton marche/arrêt.

•Pour éteindre votre brosse à dents depuis le mode « Polissage/ Blanchiment » pressez une fois de plus le bouton marche/arrêt.

•Si vous souhaitez éteindre votre brosse à dents depuis le mode « Propreté » ou le mode « Douceur », pressez en continue le bouton marche/arrêt jusqu’à arrêt du moteur.

Capteur de pression

Votre brosse à dents dispose d’un Capteur de pression qui vous alerte lorsque votre brossage est trop énergique. Cela vous évite d’abîmer vos gencives et facilite l’action de votre brosse à dents.

Si vous appliquez trop de pression, la lumière rouge du capteur (b) s’allumera pour vous l’indiquer. D’autre part vous entendrez également un son différent. Vérifiez de temps en temps le bon fonctionnement du capteur en pressant sur la brossette pendant l’utilisation.
