Thank you for purchasing these new Voyager®speakers. Combining the famous Boston sound with the latest and best weather resistance and manufacturing methods, the Voyagers are ideally suited to anything you can throw at them. Try outdoor use – sun, rain, snow, heat, and cold – or marine use on your favorite yacht. They are equally at home in your home, for background music, hi-ﬁ, or home theater.

All models in the Voyager line are true two-way designs with all acoustic parts sealed and gasketed against penetrating weather. The Voyager 2 features a potent new 4

/2" (115mm) woofer and a Boston built 3/4" (19mm) dome

tweeter. The Voyager 3 uses the same tweeter, but adds more bass and sound output by employing a full 5

/4"

(135mm) woofer and larger cabinet.

The Voyager Pro brings Boston’s famous 1" (25mm) Kortec soft dome tweeter to the outdoors for the ﬁrst time, with its neodymium magnet structure and smooth response, in conjunction with a 5

/4" (135mm) copolymer woofer. The

Grand Voyager gives unprecedented output with the 1" Kortec

™

tweeter and a potent new 7" (180mm) copolymer woofer. The Voyager Pro and Grand Voyager place the tweeter in an innovative wave guide to optimize speaker efficiency and provide for wide, even coverage of the listening area.

Drawing from over a decade of all-weather speaker expertise, Boston built the Voyager series to minimize exposure of acoustic parts to weather and with materials proven to resist the elements: polypropylene cabinets with UV light and impact resistance, all-aluminum grilles and brackets, gold-plated speaker connectors. All drivers are manufactured from high-tech plastics, rubbers, and other materials that have been extensively tested for durability. Versatile brackets simplify installation in many situations (and the speakers’ shape makes corner placement easy). The large, grippy knobs make adjustment to speaker angle easy.
