What is the FreeSpace®360P-II loudspeaker?
The FreeSpace 360P-II is an 80W, full-range high fidelity loudspeaker for in-ground and surface installations. The FS360P has durable construction and a tamper-resistant design that provide protection from weather, damage and theft. A heavy-duty enclosure and advanced composite driver make this loudspeaker rugged and reliable. It withstands sand, snow, rain, salt and temperature extremes of 158ºF (70ºC) to -40ºF (-40ºC). And it survives the Salt Fog test 66% longer than the demanding Marine Industry Standard. The freestanding design with simplified mounting features allows for fast and secure installation in the ground or attached to a horizontal concrete or wood surface.
Where can I install the FS360P-II loudspeaker?
The new FS360P in-ground loudspeaker is a proven solution for outdoor commercial applications such as restaurants, amusement parks, open-air retail environments, resorts, sports facilities and hospitality venues. The FS360P loudspeaker is designed to blend into outdoor environments such as shrubbery, gardens and pool areas, so you can put sound where the listeners are. Its innovative design provides 360º coverage; so fewer loudspeakers are needed than with many conventional ground or surface mounted loudspeakers.
What is new or different about the FS360P Series II product?
The newly styled polypropylene cabinet of the FS360P-II loudspeaker is now easier to install in the ground or on a solid surface. The base plate has been integrated into the product base for simple installations. The FS360P-II loudspeaker has a new, more powerful 80W transformer and higher sensitivity – so it plays over 6 dB louder with less power. Product wiring and tap changes are as simple as twisting two wires together and sealing with the included wire nuts. The domed grille on the base has been upgraded to corrosion resistant aluminum for protection in high salt environments.
