u Loudspeaker and loudspeaker line monitoring
without additional cabling
The board monitors the integrity of a loudspeaker. It
works together with the LBB 4440/00 Supervision
Control Board. The speaker status is communicated to
the LBB 4440/00 via the existing loudspeaker cable.
Functions
The LBB 4441/00 is mounted inside the loudspeaker
casing and communicates the status of the
loudspeaker to the LBB 4440/00 Supervision Control
Board via the existing loudspeaker cable. The board
detects and reports loudspeaker faults within 300 s,
line faults within 100 s.

The board must be connected after the ceramic
terminal block with the thermal fuse. In case of a fire,
the thermal fuse will blow and disconnect the board
from the loudspeaker line. The trip point of the
thermal fuse that is connected to the ceramic block is
lower than the melting point of the solder on the
board to prevent short-circuits in the supervision
board and the loudspeaker line.
When the loudspeaker does not contain a ceramic
terminal block with a thermal fuse, use an
