Installation

Be sure your appliance is properly installed and grounded by a qualified technician in accordance with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No. 7 lat-
est edition (or the Canadian Electric Code) and local electrical code requirements.
Important: Local codes vary. Installation, electrical connections and grounding must comply with all applicable codes.
Never use your appliance for warming or heating a room.
Children should not be left alone or unattended in area where appliance is in use. Do not allow children to sit or stand on any part of the appliance.
Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically recom­mended in the manual. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified techni­cian.
Flammable materials should not be stored in the appliance.

Cabinet Cutout Dimensions Instructions are based on standard American cabinets 36" (914 mm) high x 24"

(609 mm) deep with a 25" 635 mm) countertop. If using non-standard cabinets, to alter dimensions accordingly.
Cabinet opening bottom must be able to support 90 pounds (41 kg). Otherwise, use the support brackets provided. If using the brackets, the sidewalls must sup­port 45 pounds (20.5 kg) each.

Custom Drawer Front Dimensions (Optional)

Build custom drawer front to the dimensions specified in Table 3 on page 3 and­Table 4 on page 3 below. All four edges must be finished. If using wood, the back must be sealed to prevent moisture damage.

Power Requirements and Grounding

Circuit Specifications: 120 V, 15 A, 60 Hz. The outlet must be properly grounded in accordance with all applicable codes.

Installation Procedure

1) Prepare Cabinet Cutout Prepare cabinet cutout and install electrical connection according to the dimen-

sions in Figure 2 on page 2 and Table 2 on page 2.

2) Install Support Brackets When the opening does not have a bottom, or the bottom is not strong enough to support the drawer, install the two support brackets included. Attach brackets 8” (203.2 mm) from the front wall of the cabinet. Make sure that the brackets are level before installing screws through screw holes into cabinet sidewalls (two screws on each side). Note: Cabinet sidewalls must be strong enough to support 45 pounds (20.5 kg) each. See “Cabinet Cutout Dimensions” on page 2 for further details.

3) Install Warming Drawer Slide warming drawer assembly into cutout and over support brackets (if applica­ble) until it is flush with cabinet. Secure through four screw holes in front frame (Drill pilot holes in cabinet first if necessary.).

5) Install the signal light viewer and the retainer clip in the custom drawer front.

6) Attach drawer front with two screws. Attach handle as well if desired.

Service If the warming drawer elements or signal light do not turn on, check the power

source to see if the circuit breaker is tripped.
