Operating Instructions
1. General Comments
The Bosch bulb is a 13-Watt compact fluorescent bulb. The light output is equivalent to a 60-Watt incandescent light bulb.
The light will not produce full light output until it warms up for a few minutes.
Operations at cold temperatures may cause reduced light output and run time.
The run time of the Area Worklight with a battery pack at room temperature is about 85-110 minutes.
Works with 9.6V – 14.4V Bosch Battery Packs.
Weatherproof – can be used outside with battery pack or automotive adapter only.
2. First Assembly
Step 1: Looking at the bottom of the Worklight, insert the Base into the Handle that is attached to the Worklight.
Step 2: Pivot the Base until you can see that the screw threads are aligned with the hole meant for the Adjust Knob to pass through.
Step 3: Screw the Adjust Knob into the
threads showing through the hole.
3. Adjusting the Position of the Worklight
The Bosch Area Worklight is designed to have a 100 degree range of motion. When set on a horizontal surface, the Worklight can face 10 degrees down and 90 degrees up. To adjust the position of the Worklight, simply loosen the Adjust Knob (it is not necessary to unscrew the Adjust Knob more that a few turns), pivot to the new desired position and retighten the Adjust Knob.
4. Placement of the Worklight in a Work Area
Worklight must be placed at a safe distance from potential hazards. Place worklight on flat level surface or hang from secure location.

If an extension cord is
necessary, a cord with adequate size conductors that is capable of carrying the current necessary for your product must be used. This will prevent
excessive voltage drop, loss of power or overheating. Grounded products must use 3-wire extension cords that have 3-prong plugs and receptacles.
NOTE: The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord.
