・About the LCD screen.
The LCD screen may seem dark or distorted if seen through polarized sunglasses.・Ask for a professional or a technician to perform the installation of this product.
The individual performing this installation must have technical skills and knowledge to perform this installation.・Do not drop or insert extreme force to the product while installing it.
It would cause malfunctions.・Does not heat the LCD screen over 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) for a long period.

※ This product is only made for vehicles with 12V DC. Do not install on a 24V DC vehicles or on any
other vehicle that is not a 12V DC.
It can cause a fire or damage(s) to the vehicle.
■Attention on Installation
※The location of the installation is related where the electronic throttle is controlled.
Please be extra careful on the direction and contacting surface while perform the installation.
※If there is a loose connection, the engine will not rev-up properly and the engine check
lamp will light up. On some vehicles, a special equipment will be needed to erase the check lamp.
※Do not perform any installation for a few minutes after removing the key from the ingnition. There are vehicles that the
power does not shut off for over 5 minutes. Moreover, with smart entry systems, place the key far enough where it will
not detect it and perform the installation. There is a possibility that if the key is detected, it will automatically power
ON and the check lamp will come out when the connector is unplugged and it will enter to fail safe mode.
※Be extra careful since on some vehicles, a special equipment will be needed to deactivate the error code.

・Basically do not disconnect the battery while performing the installation. There is a possibility that the “Idle Learning”
time will be needed if the battery is disconnected.
・Be extra careful in the installation process such as the direction of the connectors, contact, etc; since the electronic
throttle controller which is a precision electronic device.
・Symptoms such as sluggish rev and light up of the engine check lamp will occur if the installation is performed
incorrectly. Fully understand the installation process and be extra careful since, as explained above, an engine
diagnosis equipment will be needed to deactivate the error code.

(1) Confirming the location of the accelerator position sensor.
Usually, the accelerator position sensor is located near the base of the accelerator (Gas) pedal.
(Excluding some vehicles). Look closely since usually it is hidden by a cover.
The area circled in white is the sensor. It cannot be installed if the shape of the connector from the
harness that it is included is different. Do not try to force if the shape of the connector is different.
[Attention] Code No. 14671: TRC07C-BF2.
The accelerator position sensor is located at the engine
compartment with the vehicles that are compatible with
this product.
As shown in the picture, it is located near the master back.
It is connected by a wire from the interior of the vehicle to
the sensor at the engine compartment. Connect the BF2 sensor
harness at this location by passing through the service hole and
connect it to the main unit.

(2) Disconnect the accelerator sensor connector.
Usually, the connector is very hard when disconnecting for the first time. To disconnect,
use a hair dryer to warm and soften it. Do not use hard tool since it will damage the connector.
(3) Installation of the “vehicle specific” sensor harnesss.
Install the connectors, besides the BA1 type, as follows.
※Be careful on the direction of the face on the rubber connectors. (See figures 1 and 2)
Plug by matching the face with the red “Caution Sticker” from the rubber connector with the face
that has the lock.
※The rubber connector does not have a lock. See the figure 3 and make sure to attach the
connectors by wrapping with electrical tape.
※There is a possibility that the engine check light will light up and cause damage to the sensor
or to the product if the connectors are plugged incorrectly. Make sure that the direction of the
“Caution Sticker” and the lock are correct.

Install the BA1 connector as follows.
※Install by first removing the waterproof rubber from the vehicle’s connector coming from the
vehicle. (See figure 1 and 2) The engine check light will light up from bad connection if the
waterproof rubber is not removed.
※Since the BA1 type connector has a special shape, it is difficult to differentiate the direction.
Therefore, use the red “caution sticker” as a guide with the side that has the lock from the
vehicles’ connector and plug it the same way as explained previously.
※The locks will not fully lock since the shape of the BA1 connector is special. (See figure 3)
※The measurement when the BA1 connector is plugged is around 47mm~48mm. (See figure 4)
※Make sure to fix in place by using electrical tape. (See figure 5)
※There is a possibility that the engine check light will light up and cause damage tothe sensor or
to the product if the connectors are plugged incorrectly. Make sure that the direction of the
“Caution Sticker” and the lock are correct.
※Plug the pins at the bottom holes from the P1 Connector. (See figure 6)

(4) Installation of the main unit and controller

・Make sure to plug the 2 pin and 4 pin connectors all the way in.
・Make sure to plug the 10 pin connector from the controller all the way in.
・Bundle together the wiring and attach the main unit where it does not interfere while driving.
(Attach the main unit at a location that does not get highly heated or wet)
Attention! It is very dangerous if the wiring gets into contact with the accelerator.
Be extra careful when installing the wiring.
【Connection schematic 2: When +12V is needed】
+12V DC power supply is needed if your Throttle Controller Wiring Harness has one
single RED extra wiring (Approx 95 inches long) comes out. Use the attached splice
to connect to a constant 12V DC or to the IGN-ON 12V DC power supply.

(5) Operational check
Perform operational check after installation.
① Turn the ignition key to ON
→It will display <OFF> together with a beep after a demonstration screen.
→On some vehicles, it will activate by just inserting the key.
② Press the POWER button once. It will display one of the followings. <ECO><SP1><SP2><SP3>
③ Select the desired mode by pressing the UP or DOWN button.
④ There is a safety function that it will always reset itself to <OFF> every time the ignition is turned OFF.
It is configured to always reset it self to normal mode to prevent accidents if a person who does not know a
throttle controlling device is installed and drives the vehicle. Once the power is turned ON, it will display
the mode that was selected previously.
(6) Explanation of the MODEs

(7) Please read again before driving
※ On AT vehicles and at high speed, the shifting point may feel different since the throttle is
opened even if the accelerator is not stepped. There fore, this is not a malfunction.
※ The boost characteristic may change on vehicles equipped with force induction system
such as turbo chargers. There is a high possibility that the boost has to be readjusted on
vehicles that have been boosted up or the turbo has been changed.
※ As a safety function, this product is configured to turn OFF itself every time the engine is
turned OFF. For example, the engine is turned OFF while it is set at SP3. It will be set at
SP3 once the engine is turned ON and the driver powers ON the throttle controller.
However there is an exception. In a situation when the driver turns the engine OFF after
turning OFF the throttle controller that was set at SP3 mode. It will be set as OFF after
the engine is turner ON. However, it will not be set at SP3 after turning ON the throttle
controller. Instead it will be set as ECO. This is not a malfunction.
(8) Trouble Shooting
It is very dangerous in a situation when the vehicle goes to Fail Safe Mode and
CAUTION
the engine does not rev up. Stop the vehicle at a safe location, shut the engine
OFF, wait for 5 minutes and then start the engine again.
【Unstable engine idle】※ Is the “Activation Indicator” at the controller lighted when the gas pedal is not stepped?
If it is lighted, the activation point (when the throttle controller is activated) has to be
adjusted. Contact the dealer or distributor who you purchased it from.
※ In a situation that the battery has been disconnected for installation, there is a possibility
that “Idling Learning” is necessary. Please consult at a car dealer.
【Display not turning OFF for a while after shutting the engine off】※ There are times that the display does not turn OFF after the ignition is turned OFF. The
reason for this is because minute amount of electricity flow is left at the sensor. This is
not a malfunction. However, contact the dealer or distributor who you purchased it from if
the display does not turn OFF for over 30 minutes. (On some Nissan and Infiniti, the
display will take about 30 minutes to turn OFF. The display will turn off in about 5
minutes on 07/10 Honda Fit)
【Light up of Engine Check Lamp, Engine Failure】※ Verify the contact of the connectors, wiring and direction of the connectors.
※ Change the location where the power was taken from, if it was taken from a +12V ACC
or the voltage is not +12V.
※ There is a connector similar to the accelerator sensor in the engine compartment and it
will not operate properly if it is connected to it. Make sure to connect it to the accelerator
sensor at the interior of the vehicle. (There is an exception on some vehicles that it has
to be connected at the engine compartment)
【Light up of engine check lamp because of installation error】
(9) Regarding reverse cancel harness
It is an optional harness that deactivated the Throttle controller when in reverse.
(Sold separately)
It is connected to the 10th PIN at the controller and to the vehicle’s +12V reverse
switch.
