4) Disconnect the ground line from the battery while installing this product.

5) Disconnect the harness’s connectors from the connectors it self. DO NOT pull from the harness.

It would cause a fire by an electric short, breakage of electronic part(s) and (or) burn(s). Moreover, it would

cause some malfunction(s) to this product.

6) Discontinue utilizing this product and contact our retailers or us, if you notice some irregular noise and (or)

odor from this product

4) Do not install this product at a location where it could get wet and (or) highly heated

5) Do not install this product while the engine and its components are hot; wait until they are fully cooled.

It would cause burn(s) to you or to a third party if the engine, radiator, and the exhaust system are hot.

6) Please perform regular maintenance and be extra cautious.

This product’s durability and components are thoroughly tested; however, depending on the vehicle’s driven

condition and (or) climate, the durability may decrease.

7) Do not throw away the original detached components from the vehicle. Please keep the components

securely.

We are not liable from any damages caused to the components while installing it. Please be extra careful

through the installation.

8) Use the right tools to tighten the nuts and bolts.

It will damage the threads if you over tighten it or by using the wrong tools.

9) This product has been designed and tested on vehicles with manufacturer’s original components.

It would cause malfunctions to the product or vehicle if you have already installed a third party’s product(s).

II. Product’s Characteristics.

A. This product is designed to monitor and display the signals from the ECU using the

self-diagnosis connector on vehicles that have been manufactured after 1989 and on
some Nissan that comes equipped with the self-diagnosis connector.

B. Characteristics.

1. Can be easily connected to the coupler.

2. There is no need for additional installation of sensors.

3. There is no need for complicated wiring since power can be supplied from the cigarette

lighter.

4. Basically it can show 20 varieties of displays, and by combining the varieties, it can show

over 100 different displays.

5. It is possible to display more different displays by connecting with the SBC-iD. Moreover,

by inputting the vehicle speed signal, the SBC I-D can set the boost based on the

vehicle’s speed.

6. It is equipped to display the peak value, warning function, and record/replay function as

standard equipments.

C. Items that can be monitored.

The list below is what this product is designed to monitor from the original ECU’s data

possible to utilize one R-VIT with many other vehicles.

※This kit comes with the minimum amount of parts to install the R-VIT. Depending on where and how it is

installed, it may need more components that are not included in the kit.

Vehicle compatibility

It only can be installed on vehicles that fulfills the below specifications.

1. Only on vehicles that have been manufactured after 1989, and is equipped with the

self-diagnosis connector and on some Nissan that comes equipped with the self-diagnosis

connector.

2. Only on vehicles attached with the original ECU.

3. Only on vehicles supplied by 12V DC.

※ Even though the specifications above are fulfilled; it is possible the R-VIT cannot be used

on certain vehicles.

IV. Method of installation

1. Connect the suplied R-VIT’s [Main Harness Black 30cm] with the [Display Harness (Black 5 feet)].

2. Connect the [Self-diagnosis connector (female)] to the vehicle’s self-diagnosis connector.

3. Find a suitable spot to install the Ｒ－ＶＩＴ monitor.

4. Use zip ties to tie up extra wiring.

① DO NOT install the Ｒ－ＶＩT’s display where it might interfere with your driving or any type of

movement. (Ex: Steering wheel, pedals, etc)

② Make sure the R-VIT is within the driver’s line of sight, so that the driver will not need to move from

the driving position

③ Make sure the R-VIT’s display is securely mounted.

④ Make sure all the connectors are secured.
