Mit der Kabelfernbedienung können Sie die verschiedenen Funktionen des TV-Tuners bedienen.
Außerdem können Sie bei angeschlossenem Video-Player die Funktionen Play, Stop, schneller
Vorlauf, schneller Rücklauf und Bildsuchlauf durchführen.
Ein- und Ausschalten
● Zum Ein- bzw. Ausschalten drücken Sie auf

Beim Einschalten wird durch eine Last MemoryFunktion auf die zuletzt gewählte Funktion: TV–
PRESET bzw. CHANNEL oder VIDEO geschaltet.
War vor dem Ausschalten der TV-Mode gewählt, so
erscheint nach dem Einschalten in der Anzeige 8
die Kanalnummer oder die Speicherplatznummer
für ca. 10 Sek. und erlischt dann.
● Zu Kontrollzwecken können Sie die Anzeige
erneut aktivieren, indem Sie auf TV 2 drükken.
Wird der Tuner im Video-Mode eingeschaltet, so
erfolgt keine Anzeige.
Der TV-Empfang
Zum Empfang der Fernsehprogramme haben Sie
die Möglichkeit, alle Sender mit guter Empfangsqualität über einen Preset-Suchlauf mit Speicherung (Travelstore) oder mit einem Kanalsuchlauf
(Channel) aufzusuchen.
Der Preset-Suchlauf (Travelstore)
● Schalten Sie mit TV 2 den TV-Mode und
danach mit
rote Kontrollanzeige leuchtet.
● Drücken Sie nochmals auf PRESET 5 und
zwar ca. 5 Sek. lang.
In der Anzeige 8 erscheint P - oder zwei waagerechte Striche - - .
Der Suchlauf startet und durchläuft den gesamten
TV-Bereich der gewählten Norm. Alle empfangswürdigen Sender werden der Reihe nach gespeichert.

Nach Beendigung der Speicherung wird die Anzeige 8 automatisch auf Speicherplatz 1 geschaltet.
Wurde kein Programm gefunden und gespeichert,
so erscheint in der Anzeige ebenfalls Speicherplatz
1.
● Zum Aufrufen der gespeicherten Programme
drücken Sie auf
6 für abwärts. Halten Sie eine der Funktio-
nen gedrückt, so erfolgt eine Fortschaltung.
In der Anzeige 8 wird Ihnen der jeweils gewählte
Platz angezeigt. Die Anzeige erlischt automatisch
ca. 10 Sek. nach der letzten Betätigung.

Der Kanalsuchlauf (Channel)
● Schalten Sie mit TV 2 den TV-Mode ein.
● Drücken Sie auf / CHANNEL 4, um die
Funktion Kanalsuchlauf einzuschalten.
Die rote Kontrollanzeige leuchtet.
● Starten Sie den Suchlauf mit
wärts bzw. mit 6 für abwärts.
Jedesmal, wenn ein empfangswürdiger Sender
gefunden wird, hält der Suchlauf an.

Die Anzeige 8 zeigt die entsprechende Kanalnummer. Sie erlischt automatisch nach ca. 10 Sek.
● Halten Sie die Symbole
drückt, so wird automatisch von Kanal zu Kanal weitergeschaltet.
Die mit dem Kanalsuchlauf angewählten Kanäle
werden nicht gespeichert.

Der Video-Mode
Ist an dem Tuner der Video-Player (MVP 01) über
das Remote-Kabel angeschlossen, so können Sie
mit der Kabelfernbedienung die wichtigsten Laufwerkfunktionen fernbedienen.
Hinweis:
Bei Anschluß des Remote-Kabels am Video-Player
ist die Bedienung mit der Infrarot-Fernbedienung
nicht mehr möglich.
● Schalten Sie den Video-Player ein.
● Wählen Sie mit VIDEO 7 den VIDEO-Mode.
● Zum Starten der Wiedergabe drücken Sie auf
4 (Play).
● Möchten Sie die Wiedergabe beenden, so drükken Sie auf
5 (Stop).
● Für den schnellen Vorlauf drücken Sie auf
3, für den schnellen Rücklauf auf 6.
Während der Wiedergabe können Sie einen Bildsuchlauf durchführen.
● Für den Bildsuchlauf vorwärts drücken Sie auf
4 und 3, für den Bildsuchlauf rück-
wärts drücken Sie auf
4 und 6.
Schalten Sie vom Video-Mode zurück auf TV, so
wird der Video-Player automatisch auf Stop geschaltet, wenn die Funktion Play mit der Kabelfernbedienung eingeschaltet wurde.
Hinweise zum TV-Tuner
Der TV-Tuner ist ein Mehrnormengerät für den
mobilen Einsatz.
Folgende Normen können länderspezifisch eingestellt werden:
N 890
B/G (5,5 MHz FM-Ton) (Pos. 2)
L/L’ (6,5 MHz AM-Ton) (Pos. 3)
B/G,L/L’, I (I nur UHF) (Pos. 4)
I (6,0 MHz FM-Ton) (Pos. 7)
Werkmäßig wird der Tuner in der Norm B/G, L/L’, I
Pos. 4 ausgeliefert.
Eine andere Norm kann durch Umstecken der Brükke (N 890) im Gerät entsprechend der Landesnorm
gewählt werden (siehe Tabelle Seite 38-39).
Dies muß vor der Montage des Tuners erfolgen und
darf nur von berechtigtem und qualifiziertem Fachpersonal vorgenommen werden.

Using the cable remote control you are able to
operate the various functions of the TV tuner.
If a video player is connected, you can furthermore
operate the functions Play, Stop, fast forward, fast
rewind and picture seek tuning.

● For switching on/off the set, press 1.
When switching on, the function activated last (TV
PRESET or CHANNEL or VIDEO) is selected by
means of the Last Memory function.
When the TV mode has been activated before
switching off the unit, the display 8 indicates the
channel number or the preset number for 10 sec.

● For control purposes you can activate the
indication again by pressing TV 2.
If the tuner is set to video mode, there is no
indication in the display.
TV reception
For the reception of TV programmes you have the
possibility to seek all stations with good reception
conditions by means of a preset seek tuning with
subsequent memorisation of the stations (Travelstore) or by means of channel seek tuning (Channel).
Preset seek tuning (Travelstore)
● The TV mode is activated using button TV 2,
the PRESET mode is activated using button

. The red control LED lights up.
● Press the PRESET button 5 once again
for approx. 5 secs.
The display 8 shows P - or two hyphens.
Seek tuning starts and scans the whole TV range
of the selected standard. All stations with good
reception conditions are stored one after another.
29 preset stations are available.
After having terminated the storing, display 8
automatically indicates preset station 1.
If no programme has been found, the display also
shows preset station 1.
● For activating the stored programmes press
3 (upwards) or 6 (downwards). The
programmes are continuously switched
through, if you hold one of the buttons
depressed.
Display 8 indicates the station selected respectively. The indication automatically disappears
approximately 10 secs. after having last actuated
a button.
Channel seek tuning (Channel)
● Activate the TV mode using button TV 2.
● Press

Seek tuning stops each time, when a station with
good reception conditions has been found. Display

Video mode
If a video player (MVP01) is connected to the tuner
via the remote cable, the most important drive
functions can be operated using the cable remote
control.
Note: When connecting the remote cable to the
video player, the set can not be operated any
longer with the infrared remote control.
● Switch the video player on.
● Select the video mode using VIDEO 7.

If you switch back from video mode to TV mode, the
video player is automatically stopped, if the Play

Notes on the TV tuner
The TV tuner is a multistandard unit for mobile
operation.
The following standards coud be adjusted to fit
specific country requirements:
N890
B/G (5.5 MHz FM tone) (pos. 2)
L/L’ (6.5 MHz AM tone) (pos. 3)
B/G, L/L’, I (I only UHF)
I (6.0 MHz FM tone) (pos. 7)
The tuner is delivered ex factory with the standards
B/G, L/L’, I pos. 4.
A different standard can be selected according to
the respective country standard by modifying the
jumper connection (N 890) in the unit (refer to the
tables on pages 38-39).
The jumper connection has to be modified by
authorized and qualified specialists before
installing the tuner.

Grâce à la télécommande par câble vous pouvez
commander des fonctions différentes du tuner TV .
Avec un magnétoscope étant raccordé on peut en
plus commander les fonctions Play, Stop, avance
rapide, retour rapide et la recherche automatique
d’images.

● Dans l’intention d’effectuer le contrôle vous
pouvez activer l’affichage de nouveau en
appuyant sur la touche TV 2.
Si le tuner est activé en mode vidéo, aucun
affichage n’apparaît.
Réception TV
Pour recevoir les programmes TV vous avez la
possibilité de balayer tous les émetteurs avec de
bonnes conditions de réception par l’intermédiaire
d’une recherche automatique de stations avec
mémorisation (Travelstore) ou d’une recherche
automatique de canaux (Channel).
Recherche automatique de stations
(Travelstore)

Activez le mode TV par la touche TV 2 et le
mode PRESET par

● Si vous maintenez les touches
6 pressées, le poste automatiquement
commute d’un canal sur l’autre.
Les canaux balayés à l’aide de la recherche
automatique de canaux ne sont pas mis en
mémoire.
Le mode vidéo
Si le magnétoscope (MVP 01) est raccordé au
tuner par l’intermédiaire du câble de la
télécommande, vous pouvez télécommander les
fonctions les plus importantes du méchanisme
d’entraînement par la télécommande par câble.
Note: En raccordant le câble de la télécommande
au magnétoscope, le poste ne peut plus être commandé par la télécommande à infrarouge.
● Mettez le magnétoscope en service.
● Activez le mode vidéo par la touche VIDEO

Notes sur le tuner TV
Le tuner TV est un poste multistandard pour le
fonctionnement mobile.
Il est possible de régler les normes suivantes en
fonction du pays d’utilisation:

B/G, L/L’, I (I seulement UHF) (pos. 4)
I (6.0 MHz son FM) (pos. 7)
Le tuner est livré de l’usine avec les standards B/
G, L/L’, I pos. 4.
On peut choisir un autre standard selon le standard
du pays correspondant en modifiant le raccordement du pont (N 890) dans le poste (voir tableau
pages 38-39).
Le raccordement du pont doit être modifié par des
spécialistes autorisés et qualifiés avant
l’installation du tuner.
