When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,

How to install your Microwave Oven
Make sure that all the packing material is removed from the inside of the door.
Warning: Check the microwave oven for any damage, such as misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and.
sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches and dents inside the cavity or on the door.The door should
fit squarely and securely and open and close smoothly.The door seals are free from food and have noburn marks. If
there is any damage, please do not operate the microwave oven & contact the qualified service personnel.
Practical Hints:
.The microwaveoven should be placed on a flat stable surface which can hold the weight of the microwave oven and
the heaviest of food likely to be cooked inside.
. Do not placethe microwaveoven where heat, moisture,or high humidityare generatedor near combustiblematerials.
. For correct operation, the microwaveoven must have sufficient airflow (20 cms above, 10 cms at the back, 5 cms on
both sides). Do not cover or block any openings.
. Do not remove the feet.
. Do not place anything on top of the oven.
. Do not operatethe microwave oven without the glass tray, roller support and shaft in their proper positions.
.Makesure that the power supply cord is undamaged and does not run under the microwave oven or over any hot or
sharp surfaces.
. Ensure that the socket is readily accessible so that it can be easily unplugged in case of emergency.
. Do not use the microwaveoven outdoors.

. The appliance must be grounded. The oven is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
It must be plugged into a wall socket that is properly installed and grounded as it reauces the risk of electric shock in
case of short circuit. Using a high voltage is dangerous and may result in a fire or other accidents causing the oven
damage.
Note: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. The microwave oven should be operat-
ed on a separate circuit from other appliances. Failure to do so may cause the power board fuse to blow, and or food
to cook slower.
How to use your Microwave Oven
The appliance is intended to heat, cook or dry food for household use only.
. Arrange the food carefully. Place the thickest areas towards the outside of the dish.
. Watch the cooking time. Cook for the shortest amount of time and add more as required. Foodseverelyovercooked
can smoke or ignite thereby causing damage.
. Ensure that you cover the food while cooking. Covers prevent splattering and the food cooks evenly.
. Turn foods over once during the cycle to speed cooking of foods such as chicken & burgers. Large items like roasts
must be turned over at least once.
.Rearrange foods such as meat balls halfway through the cooking cycle both from top to bottom and centre of the dish
to the outside.

NOTE:
Turn Power Selector to select a power level.
Use Timer knob to set a cooking time.
As soon as the timer is turned, oven starts cooking.
When selecting time for less than 2 minutes, turn timer past 2 minutes and then return to the correct time.
CAUTION:ALWAYSRETURNTIMER BACK TO ZERO POSITION if food is removed from oven before the set cook-
ingtime iscomplete or when oven is not in use.Tostop ovenduring cooking process,pushthe door release buttonand
open the door.
How to care for your microwave oven
Utensilspermissiblefor useinmicrowaveoven:
. Useutensilswhich allowthe energy to passthroughthe container and heat the food. Only use atemperatureprobe
recommendedfor this microwave oven.
. Do not use metal or dishes with metallic trim.
. Do not use recycled paper products as they may contain small metal fragments which may cause sparks or fires.
. Round or oval dishes are recommended rather than square / oblong ones as food in corners tends to overcook.
. Narrow strips of aluminiumfoil may be used to prevent over-cooking of exposed areas. But be careful not to use
too much and keep a distance of 1 inch between the foil and cavity.
. The oven should be cleaned ocassionally, particularly around the door seal area.
