FigA-Beforefirst use:
Before using your Juicer for the first time, make
sure it is disconnected from the electrical supply,
then remove all packaging from the sieve & pulp
container.
To remove the packaging, open the right-hand
latch (7), then the left-hand latch (8).
Lift the cover (5) & tray (6) from the appliance.
Remove the packing from the sieve (14) and from
the pulp collector (3) and strainer (4).
Pull the sieve housing & sieve from the Juicer.
All parts must be cleaned as recommended in the
section “How to take care of your Juicer”.
The motor housing must only be cleaned with a
damp cloth, and dried thoroughly before use.
Inspect the sieve for signs of damage.
Note: Do not use the appliance if the rotating
sieve is damaged.
Fig B - How to assemble your Juice Extractor
Place the sieve housing (15) on the motor housing
(1), then place the sieve (14) into the sieve
housing, pressing it onto the sieve adaptor (16).
Fit the strainer (4) into the pulp collector (3).
Locate lower hinge of the pulp collector into the
hole in the motor housing, ensuring the tab on the
pulp collector is located in the slot in the motor
housing.
Fit the cover (5), ensuring that the upper hinge of
the pulp collector locates in the hole in the cover.
Close the right-hand latch (7) and the left-hand
latch (8).
Fit the tray (6) onto the cover (5). This can be fitted
as a cover for storage, or inverted to act as a tray
where ingredients can be temporarily stored
before juicing.
Place the jug (12) under the spout (9).
How to use your Juicer
This appliance is designed to extract juice from
fruits & vegetables.
Do not use this appliance for any other purpose.
For indoor domestic use only.
Prepare material to be processed by washing
thoroughly and peeling as required. Remove all
pips and large seeds. Cut large fruits or
vegetables into small pieces which will fit the inlet
chute.
Smaller items of food can be placed on the tray
ready to be directed into the chute with the
pusher (11).
Make sure the speed selector (2) is in the ‘’0’’
(OFF) position, then the plug cord-set into a power
outlet.
Note: Make sure that the voltage shown on the
underside of the motor housing corresponds with
the local supply voltage.
Rotate the speed selector to position 1 or 2 as
required. Low speed should be used for soft fruits
and high speed for harder fruits.
Check the jug and pulp collector are in place, and
feed the ingredients into the inlet chute. The
pusher (11) can be used to gently guide the
ingredients down the inlet slot. Do not overload
the machine. Too much pressure may cause
material to jam the inlet chute.
If a blockage occurs, NEVER USE FINGERS
OR ANY OBJECT OTHER THAN THE PUSHER
TO CLEAR THE INLET CHUTE.
If the food cannot be dislodged, turn the speed
selector to the “0” position (OFF) and UNPLUG
the POWER CORD FROM OUTLET.
Remove the cover as described in “Before first
use” and clear the blockage. Replace the cover,
re-connect the Juicer to the electrical supply &
resume juicing.
When juicing is completed, the switch should be
returned to the off (0) position, and allow the
motor to come to a stop. The jug should be left in
place until the juice stops flowing from the spout.
UNPLUG POWER CORD FROM THE OUTLET,
and disassemble the juice extractor. Empty the
pulp from the collector and clean all parts as soon
as possible after you have finished processing.

Emptying the jug
Pay attention to the jug while juicing to prevent
spills through overfilling. If the jug is full, rotate the
speed selector (2) to the ‘’0’’ (OFF) position,
remove the jug & pour the contents into a
separate container.
The foam separator (13) can be used to keep any
foam in the jug. Return the jug to its position and
continue juicing.
Emptying the pulp collector / strainer
If the pulp collector (3) becomes full before all of
the ingredients are used, rotate the speed selector
(2) to the ‘’0’’(OFF) position and unplug the Juicer.
Take hold of the pulp collector at the left edge, &
pull it away from the motor housing. The pulp
collector will swing open on its hinges. The
strainer (4) can be removed by lifting the tab at the
back. The pulp can be discarded and the strainer
returned to the pulp collector, which can then be
closed again.
If the pulp collector (3) needs to be emptied,
rotate the speed selector (2) to the ‘’0’’ (OFF)
position and unplug the Juicer.
Remove the cover (5) as described in “Before first
use” and lift the pulp collector from its location.
Empty it into a suitable container & re-fit it to the
motor housing. Replace the lid, making sure the
latches are closed, reconnect the unit to the
power supply & re-commence juicing.
How to take care of your Juicer
The Juicer must be cleaned thoroughly after each
use.
Make sure the appliance is switched ‘OFF’ and
unplug the unit from the power supply before
cleaning.
NOTE: NEVER IMMERSE the motor housing (1)
IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
To clean motor housing, wipe clean with a damp
cloth. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-using or
storing. The removable parts of the juice extractor
assembly should be washed promptly after each
use with a mild detergent in warm water. These
parts are not dishwasher safe and must be hand
washed.
ENGLISH
Use a brush to scrub pulp residue from the cutting
teeth and strainer holes of the sieve (14).
After washing, rinse and allow all parts to dry
thoroughly before re-assembly and storage.
Never use a metal brush to clean the sieve.
Take care when handling the sieve as the
blades are sharp.
Warning:
Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is
damaged.
