Carpet Cleaning
1. While pressing the trigger, make one slow forward wet pass and another one back
2. Release the trigger and make one slow forward and backward pass over the same area. Repeated passes will help aid in dry time
3. Continue passes until cleaning area is complete
4. When the formula and water solution is empty,
it is time to empty the dirty water tank
5. Empty dirty water by removing tank from base of machine. Carry to utility sink to dispose of water. Unlatch top of tank and pour dirty water through rectangle shaped opening in corner
6. Refill as needed, following steps 4 & 5 under “Before you begin cleaning”
Cleaning with Attachments
1. Make sure handle of machine is locked in
upright position and the ReadyTools™ Dial is turned towards Tools.
2. Attach the cleaning tool to the end of the hose
3. Clean by pressing the trigger to spray solution
onto the area to be cleaned
4. Slowly scrub the tool back and forth over the soiled surface
5. Tilt the tool forward and release spray trigger to suction liquid

1 Machine Base & Tank-in-Tank System 2 Upper Handle 3 5 screws (2 long, 3 short) - taped to handle 4 Tough Stain Tool
Phillips head screw driver is needed for assembly
Color and pack-ins vary by model
1. Slide handle assembly onto lower body and secure with two long screws.
2. Attach upper hose rack to back of handle assembly by guiding the hook up into slot location and pressing firmly upward until it is seated flush with the back of the machine. Secure 1 short screw through the hole in the bottom of the upper hose and cord rack.
3. Attach lower hose rack by guiding the hook up into slot location and pressing firmly upward until it is seated flush with the back of the machine. Secure 2 short screws through holes on either side of the bottom hose and cord rack.
4. Attach Tough Stain tool to end of hose.
5. Wrap flex hose around hose and cord rack (as shown) and secure it into notched out holder. Wrap cord around opposite side of hose and cord rack.
6. Keep flex hose locked in place with hose secure latch.
7. Place tank in the bottom of the machine.

Before you begin cleaningAssembly
1. Move furniture to another area if cleaning an entire room
2. Remove large dirt and debris from carpet (See User’s Guide for more details)
3. Pre-treat spots & stains and heavy traffic areas (optional – see User’s Guide)
4. Fill the clean water tank
4a. Unlatch the top by lifting up on
the latch at the back side of the tank.
4b. Remove the top
4c. Fill with hot tap water leaving
space at the top for formula (do not boil or microwave water). Pour
2.5 ounces of formula into the heavy duty bladder (fill the included measuring cup twice).
4d. Re-attach top by hooking the front of the lid in then locking in the latch on the back side of the tank.
5. Plug into outlet, and turn the power switch on
NOTE: Heatwave Technology™ helps keep hot water hot while the machine is in use. Simply turn the machine on to activate Heatwave Technology.
