BISSELL SELF PROPELLED UDC - MODEL 7950
Highlights of the new model
The main differences between the self propelled UDC and the
standard UDC occurs in the Upper and Lower Handle Assemblies.
The Lower Handle Assembly contains a Transmission/Motor
Assembly with Belt Drtve, Rectifier/Terminal Board, and Neutral
Knob. The transmission motor is 110 volt DC.
The Neutral Knob-is the mechanism used to engage and disengage
the transmission for use. To move the unit without the use of the
transmission, the Neutral Knob must be in the "OFF" position.
The Lower Handle also contains the Heater and Trigger Valve
Assembly. The Trigger Valve Assembly has tubes that are of
different length than other Bissell UDC models. The Trigger Valve
Assembly is not interchangeable with standard models (non self
propelled).
The Upper Handle Assembly contains the "ON" - "OFF" switches for
both the unit's Power and the Heater. If the need arises to change
out the Lower Handle Assembly wire harness, it is recommended that
the Upper Handle Harness be changed out also. The two wiring
harnesses are supplied as a single replacement kit.
The wheels are new and are not interchangeable with other models
The tube routing and components have remained the same in the
foot assembly. The pump, motor, base, brush assembly, etc. are the
same as in the standard models.
The Tool Caddy on the 7950 is different than on the standard models.
