UEFI BIOS Setup
Introduction
The purpose of this manual is to describe the settings in the AMI UEFI BIOS Setup program on this motherboard. The Setup program allows users to modify the bas ic system configuration and save these settings to NVRAM. UEFI BIOS determines what a computer can do without access ing programs from a disk. This system controls most of the input and output devices such as keyboard, mouse, s erial ports and d is k dr ives. BIOS ac tivates at t he first stage of the boo ting process, loading and executing the op erating system. Some additional features, such as virus and password protectio n or chipset fine-tuning options are also includ ed in UEFI BIOS. The rest o f this manual will to guide you thro ugh the options and settings in UEFI BIOS Setup.
