Read this instruction carefully before the first use to become acquainted with operating your new appliance. Please keep the instruction for further reference.
SAFETY MEASURES
This appliance is powered by batteries, there­fore during operation it is necessary to comply with the following safety measures: X Before using the appliance with batteries, study directions for their use. X Only use the batteries as recommended by the manufacturer

X Do not use batteries with visible marks of oxidation. X If the corrosion liquid comes in contact with the skin or the
eyes, immediately wash them with plenty of water, and if any is ingested – drink a lot of water, cause vomiting and go to the doctor.
X If the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of
time, it is recommended to take the batteries out of the appli­ance.
X Do not use the appliance where the air may contain volatile
flammable substances.
X In cases where liquid has got inside the appliance, take out the
batteries. See the attached instruction to become acquainted with their further use.
X Do not use the scale near electromagnetic radiation sources
(computers, radio telephones etc.).
X Do not keep the scale near heating appliances, heating sys-
tems, or in the direct sun.
X It is not recommended to use batteries and accu-

X While weighing, always stand in the central part of the tray in
order not to overturn the scale or fall off.
X Try to evenly distribute the load on the tray of the scale. X During weighing do not lean over other objects. X Whilst standing on the scale, do not make quick movements,
jumps or kicks, as this will cause incorrect operation of the scale or breakage to the glass and plastic.
X Only weigh within the limits, indicated on the box of the appli-
ance.
X Weighting is recommended to perform at the same time. X Results of measuring fat/water content in the body are not a
medical purpose and are only for the reference.
X Do not insert foreign objects in the open parts of the appliance. X Prevent the appliance from falling or other objects falling onto
the appliance. As this can damage the appliance and affect the accuracy of measurement during weighing.
X Prevent water getting inside the appliance. X Do not use the scale or store them in places with high humidity
or where water could be spilled on them.
X Store the appliance in the original package, in a horizontal
position.
X Do not put foreign objects on the scale. X When cleaning the scale, do not use abrasive materials and
cleansers as these can damage the body and parts of the appliance.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before the appliance is used for the first time, remove all packing. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment (7) on the plat­form (1). Move the weight unit switch (9) to select the desired units of measurement (Kg (kilograms), Lb (pounds), St (stones)).

OPERATION
Weighing
1. Place the scale on a flat solid horizontal sur­face. Do not put the scale on carpets or other soft coatings, since this will affect the accuracy of
2. To switch on the scale, stand up onto the platform (1), evenly distribute the weight, and stand still. Keep waiting for several seconds, until the appliance counts the result, which will first blinks three times on the display (2) to fix up then.
3. When measurements are over, get off from the platform (1). The scale will automatically switches off in 8 seconds.
Note 1: if the weight measured exceeds the permissible load
(150 kg), the display (2) will show «Err» indicating that the permissible load has been exceeded.
Note 2: if the scale display (2) will show «Lo», this means
that the battery is exhausted and needs replacement. Open the compartment cover (7) and carefully remove the battery. Observing the polarity, insert a new battery in the appliance.
Note 3: if after the weighing, the display (2) shows «C»,
this means that an error occurred during the weighing process. Repeat the weighing procedure again.

Personal data input
Functional buttons (4-5) to input height, weight, sex and other
personal data are on the platform (1).
Allowable range of parameters:
X memory: 1-12 Users, X height: 100-250 cm, X age:10-100 years, X weight: 2-150 kg, X fat content: 4.0-60.0% X water content: 27.5%-66.0%
User’s number
1. Press On/Set button(5). By default, the following data will appear on the display (2): sex - male, height - 165 cm, age ­25 years. At the same time, the User’s number will be blinking.
2. Use the button (4) to increase/ decrease User’s number.
Note: at each one-time pressing of the button (4), readings
will be increased/ decreased by one.

Sex
1. Press On/Set button (5) to confirm the User’s age and to enter the User’s sex input mode.
2. Use the button (4) to change the User’s sex ( / ).
Height
1. Press On/Set button (5) to confirm the User’s number and to enter the User’s height input mode.
2. Use the button (4) to increase/ decrease the User’s height (from 100 to 250 cm).
Age
1. Press On/Set button (5) to confirm the User’s height and to enter the User’s age input mode.
2. Use the buttons (4) to increase/ decrease the User’s age (from 10 to 100 years).
Note 1: if you do not introduce any datum within 15
seconds, the scale will switch off automatically.
Note 2: while entering personal parameters, at any time you
may press the bottom part of the platform (1) to nullify the weight readings (in this case, the display (2) will show «0.0») to start body weighting or the fat/water body content measuring, using the newly introduced or updated data.
Body fat/water content measurement
1. Switch on the scale by pressing On/Set button (5). The LCD (2) will show either initial data set by default, or the readings of the last weighted User.
2. By pressing the up/ down buttons (4), select your User’s num­ber with the personal data you introduced.
Note: if you press the Direct Access button (6) with your
User’s number from1 to 4, you can immediately enter the data input mode.
3. Before weighing, press by hand the bottom part of the platform (1). The weight reading indication on the display (2) will high­light «0.0».
4. Now you can stand up on the platform (1) and weigh your­self. Keep waiting for a few seconds to allow the appliance to calculate the result.
5. Then, under the current weight reading indication, the «BF» title and a percentage of fat content in the body will appear.
6. After that, the «BW» title and a percentage of water content in the body will appear.
7. Then the measured recommended calorie intake and “kcal” will be shown in the upper part of the display (2).

8. The display (2) changes its color dependent on the result (ref. to the below-mentioned Table of measurement results and corresponding display readings). Five different colors reflect the state of your organism.
9. The scale switches off automatically once the measurement is over.
Note 1: if you step on the electrodes (3) wearing shoes or
stocks, the scale will not be able to calculate the percentage content of water/ fat, and in this case the display (2) will show “_ _ _”.
Note 2: body water and fat readings and recommended
calorie intake will appear 3 times one after another.
Note 3: if the body fat content is lower than 4.0% , “Err-
l” will appear on the display (2). If the body fat
content exceeds 60.0%, “Err-h” will appear on the display (2).
Quick data indication in the Direct Access
mode
Four buttons (6) with numbers from 1 to 4 are located in the
bottom part of the platform (1). By pressing the numbered but­ton, under which data for the first four Users stored in the memory are introduced, you can immediately scroll these data.
1. Enter User’s data as shown in the Personal data input sec­tion. Data under each of four numbers will be stored automati­cally.
2. Before next weighing, just press the number corresponding to the User’s number (from 1 to 4). The previously introduced data will appear on the display (2).
3. Press by hand the bottom part of the platform (1) to nullify readings (display (2) will show «0.0») to start weighing.
Note: if you have already used this scale to weigh yourself
and to measure fat/water content in the body, then, after a repeated pressing of the Direct Access button (6) with your User’s number from 1 to 4, the fat/ water content readings of the last measurement and recommended calorie intake will appear one after another on the display (2).

CARE AND CLEANING
1. Wipe the appliance with a damp lint free cloth, wiping it dry, so that there are no water marks on the tray (1). Do prevent water getting inside the appliance. Do not use hard abrasive materials and substances for cleaning.

This appliance should be disposed of in accor­dance with waste disposal regulations in your coun­try and with the least damage to the environment.
Only ecologically safe materials are used in the packaging of our products and the cardboard and paper can be disposed of with normal paper waste.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE
If your appliance does not operate or does not operate properly, contact an authorized service center for consultancy or repair.
The warrantee does not cover:
- product packing, consumables and accesso­ries (knives, tips, etc.);
the product;
- failures due to overloading, improper or careless maintenance, penetration of liquids, dust, insects and other foreign matters inside the product, exposure of plastic and other not thermal­resistant components to high temperatures, force-majeure cir­cumstances (accidents, fire, flooding, power grid failure, light­ning stroke, etc.);
- damages caused by:
X Non-fulfillment of the above-mentioned precautions and op-
erating manuals.
X Application in commercial purposes (application of the product
beyond personal daily living needs).
X Connection to a grid with a voltage which differs from that
indicated on the appliance.
X Unauthorized repair or replacement of the components of the
appliance, performed by an unauthorized person or service center.
Also the warranty doesn’t cover replaceable batteries.
