1. Before installation please read and follow the instructions in this guide carefully
and retain it for future reference.
2. The BenQ Corporation is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from
incorrect installation.
3. The ceiling mount is designed for easy installation and removal. The BenQ
corporation is not liable for any damage or injuries due to human action or natural
hazards, such as earthquakes or typhoons.
4. The projector mount must only be installed by service professionals.
5. At least two persons are required to install or remove this mount to avoid any
personal injury or material damage resulting from heavy falling objects.
6. Before installing the mount check the surroundings of the selected location:
Avoid installing in places with high temperature, humidity or moisture.
Do not install near air conditioner vents or in excessively dusty or oily places.
This product must only be installed on a horizontal ceiling.
Do not install in places where there is vibration or a chance of shock.
7. Allow sufficient clearance around the projector to ensure proper ventilation.
8. To ensure safety, check the ceiling structure and select a strong solid place for
installation to avoid accidents.
9. The ceiling must support 4 times the total weight of the projector and the mount
or more, as well as being of sufficient strength to bear the vibrations and force
from earthquakes or other events.
10.Do not replace any parts or use damaged ones. Please contact your retailer if
you have questions.
11.Fix the screws firmly, but do not over-tighten them to avoid breaking or damage
to the threads.
12.The mount can support the weight of the projector (15kg or 33lbs) or less.
13.No other objects in addition to the projector should be attached to the mount.
No one should be allowed to hang anything on the mount.
14.The holes used for fixing the mount will remain in the ceiling after it has been
removed. After a long time there may also be other marks left on the ceiling.
15.The projector mount has a 5-year warranty but the quality of the mounting
surface and structure, as well as the installation work, is beyond the control of
the manufacturer.

A. Pull out the plastic caps from both sides. Make sure the ceiling mount bracket (A) is placed on the correct position on the ceiling. Place the bracket (A) close to the ceiling and mark on the wall against the bracket holes with a pencil. Drill holes on the marked points. The holes on a concrete wall should be 10mm (0.39”) in diameter and 55mm deep (2.17”) while the holes on a wooden wall should be 4.5mm (0.17”) in diameter and 55mm deep (2.17”). Use a hammer to fix the plastic plugs (L) on the wall. Fix the self-tapping screws (M) on the wall. Replace the plastic caps.
A. Place the hinge module (B) on the arm bracket (F).
Lock them tightly with the fixed washers (J) and nuts (K).
B. Place the hinge module cover (C) on the hinge
module (B). Align the hinge module (D) with the
holes on the hinge module cover (C) and tighten it
by inserting into the holes.
C. Use the hex key 5mm (H) to insert and fix the hex bolts (M6xL12) (G) into the holes of the hinge module (B) and the hinge module cover (C).

A. After passing the power cord through the internal
pipe (O), fix the internal pipe (O) and the projector
with the locked hinge module with the hex bolts
(M6xL12) (G).
B. Pull out the power cord from behind the external pipe (N) and plug the power cord into the projector. Assemble the external pipe device (O+projector) and the external pipe (N) with the bolts (E) and the nuts (K) at an appropriate length.

A. Place the arm bracket (F) on the projector.
Use the fix bolts with fixed washer (I) to lock the
projector tightly.

7. Adjusting the required angle
A. Adjust the required angle of the hinge module by loosening the knob. After adjustment, push back and tighten the knob.
