Subject: Bendix Announces Forward Looking Radar (FLR) Sensor Service Kit Part Numbers

for Navistar® ProStar® Vehicles

Bendix announces that effective January 1, 2014, the Bendix™ FLR20™ radar sensor will be used as a replacement for Navistar® ProStar® vehicles originally equipped with the Bendix™ FLR10™ radar sensors. There are two kits, dependent on the build date of the vehicle.

Kits include the bracket and components needed to perform the installation, however an alignment tool (see below) and digital inclinometer will also be required to complete the installation and alignment.

Since the Bendix™ FLR20

™

radar sensor replaces a Bendix™ FLR10™ radar sensor, when customers return the part for Core credit it is important to use a BW1829 orange tag. This will alert the plant that the Core is eligible to be applied to the Bendix FLR20™radar
