IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be
followed:

1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

2. To protect against risk of electric shock do not put the appliance base, power cord
or plug in water or other liquid. Ensure that appliance does not get wet (water
splashes etc.) and do not use it with wet hands. Do not operate knife in water or
under running water.

3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities; or lack of experience and knowledge;
unless, they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, changing
blades and before cleaning.

6. Avoid contacting moving parts. Blades are sharp and can cause personal injury.

7. Always engage lockout before handling blades.

8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, electrical or mechanical
adjustment. Contact customer service for examination, repair or adjustment.

9. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by Sensio Inc. may cause a risk
of injury to persons, re or electrical shock.

10. Do not use outdoors. This unit is designed to be used only indoors.

11. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. Do not let cord contact hot
surface, including the stove.

12. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Always handle blades with hand away from
cutting edge. Always store blades with cutting edge away from you.

Notes on the Plug

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other. To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

Notes on the Cord

This appliance’s polarized attachment reduces the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a long cord. Do not use an extension cord with
this product.

Electric Power

If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not
operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
appliances.

Before Using your BELLA Electric Knife

1. Carefully unpack the Bella Electric Knife and remove

all packaging materials. Check the contents to ensure
that all part s are present, and have been received in
good condition.

2. Wash the blades in soapy water. Rinse and dr y

thoroughly. Slip the rivet at the tip of one blade
into the keyhole slot on the other and slide outwards
(Figure 2).

Operating Instructions

CAUTION: Make sure the knife is unplugged when
inser ting or removing the blades.

1. With the knife still unplugged and the serrated edge

away from you, grip the blades by the non- slip tabs
and insert blades until you hear a “click”.

2. Plug the knife to the electric outlet.

3. Position the food to be sliced on the cutting board.

4. Press the securit y but ton and slide the trigger towards

your with your ngers as you cut. Blades should go
down through the food. Do not saw the food as you
cut through the food. T he blades are s upposed to
go back and for th for cutting. (Figure 3.)

CAUTION: Never place your hand over the blade to
support it while operating the knife.

Care and Cleaning

Any further servicing needed, other than cleaning, should be conducted by an authorized service representative.

Removing the blades:

1. Unplug the knife from

the electrical outlet.

2. Press the blade release button.

3. Grasp the blades by the non-slip button

and pull the blades carefull y. Make sure
the serrated edges are always away
from you. (Figure 4.)

4. Separate the blades by sliding the rivet

out of the keyhole.

5. Wash blades in soapy water and dr y

thoroughly before next use.

6. Store c arving blades and bread blades in

the storage case.

7. Clean the knife handle and the cord with a damp cloth. Do not wash or immerse the knife handle in water.

Helpful Hints

Carving Blade:

The carving blades precisely slices through all types of meat s: Turkey, ham, chicken, s alami and roasts.
These blade s can also slic e chee ses as well as fruits and vege tables.

Bread Blade:

Delic ately cuts thin, medium and large slices of bread without deforming the loaf.
For better results, let your food cool d own for 15-30 minutes before slicing it.

Limited TWO-YEAR Warranty

SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of TWO YEARS from the date
of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects in material and
workmanship, and for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical parts. At its sole
discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either repair or replace the product found to be defective,
or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.

The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail
purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is
required to obtain warranty validation. Retail stores selling this product do not have the
right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and conditions of the warranty.

EXCLUSIONS:
The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper
routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair,
or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO Inc. personnel. Also, the warranty
does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.

SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited
by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular
purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some states, provinces or
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the
above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specic
legal rights which may vary by state, province and/or jurisdiction.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number: 1-866-832-4843.
A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over the
phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you will
be provided with a case number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach
a tag to the product that includes: your name, address, daytime contact telephone
number, case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a copy of the
original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged product with the sales receipt,
and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO
Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability for the returned product while in transit to
SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Center.

IMPORTANTES

Al utilizar electrodomésticos, siempre deben cumplirse las precauciones

Notas sobre el enchufe

Este electrodoméstico cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha
que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este enchufe encaja de
una sola manera en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no encaja bien en
el tomacorriente, delo vuelta. Si aun así no encaja, comuníquese con un electricista
calicado. No realice ningún tipo de modicación al enchufe.

Notas sobre el cable

Este electrodoméstico tiene un accesorio polarizado debe usarse para reducir
el riesgo de enredarse o tropezarse con un cable más largo. No utilice un prolongador
con este producto.

Corriente eléctrica

Si el circuito eléctrico está sobrecargado con otros artefactos, es posible que el

Antes de usar su cuchillo eléctrico BELLA

1. Desempaque con cuidado el cuchillo eléctrico

Bella y quite todos los ma teriales de empaque.
Verique el contenido y procure que todas las piezas
estén presentes y que las haya recibido en buenas
condiciones.

2. Lave las hojas en agua con jabón. Enjuague y seque

completamente. Deslice el remache en la par te
superior de una hoja en la ranura de la otra

(Figura 2).

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

Precaución: Asegúrese de que el cuchillo esté desenchufado
cuando introduzca o retire las hojas.

1. Con el cuchillo todavía desenchufado y con el borde

serrado hacia abajo, tome las hojas por las lengüetas
antideslizantes e insér telas hasta escuchar un “clic”.

2. Enchufe el cuchillo al tomacorriente.

3. Coloque la comida que debe cortar en la tabla.

4. Presione el botón de seguridad y des lice el botón de

encendido hacia us ted con los dedos mientras c ort a.
Las hojas deben descender por la c omida. No mueva
el cuchillo hac ia adelante y atrás mientras corta.
Las hojas harán ese movimiento de cor te (Figura 3).

PRECAUCIÓN: Nunca coloque la mano encima de la hoja
para sostenerla mientras el cuchillo está en funcionamiento.

Cuidado y limpieza

Cualquier otra operación de servicio necesaria (salvo la limpieza) debe ser realizada por un representante de
servicio autorizado.

Para retirar las hojas:

1. Desenchufe el cuchillo del tomacorriente.

2. Presione el botón para solt ar la hoja.

3. Tome las hojas por las lenguetas

antideslizante y tir e de ellas con cuidado.
Asegúrese de que los borde s serrados
miren siempre hacia abajo (Figura 4).

4. Para separar las hojas, deslice el

remache para que salga del agujero.

5. Lave las hojas con agua y jabón y seque

bien antes de guardar.

6. Guarde las hojas para trinchar y las hoja

para pan en el estuche.

7. Lave el mango del cuchillo y el cable con

un trapo húmedo. No sumerja el mango
del cuchillo en agua ni lo lave.

Consejo útil

Hoja para trinchar

Las hojas para trinchar rebanan todo tipo de carnes: pavo, jamón, pollo, salame y carnes asadas. Estas hojas
también pueden usarse para cortar quesos, frutas y vegetales.

Hoja para pan

Cortan delicadamente rebanadas delgadas, medianas y grandes de pan.
Para obtener mejores resultados, deje enfriar el pan entre 15 y 30 minutos antes de cortarlo.

Garantía limitada de DOS AÑOS

Mediante la presente, SENSIO Inc. garantiza que, durante el plazo de DOS AÑOS a
partir de la fecha de compra, este producto no presentará defectos mecánicos en el
material ni en la mano de obra, y durante 90 días, no los presentará en las piezas no
mecánicas. A su entera discreción, SENSIO Inc. reparará o reemplazará el producto que
resulte defectuoso, o emitirá un reembolso por el producto durante el plazo
de garantía.

Esta garantía es válida únicamente para el comprador minorista original a partir de la
fecha de compra minorista inicial y no es transferible. Conserve el recibo de compra
original, ya que se exige una prueba de compra para obtener la validación de la
garantía. Las tiendas minoristas no tienen derecho a alterar, modicar ni corregir de
ninguna manera los términos y condiciones de la garantía.

EXCLUSIONES:
La garantía no cubre el desgaste normal de las piezas ni el daño ocasionado por
cualquiera de las siguientes causas: uso negligente del producto, uso de un voltaje
o corriente incorrectos, mantenimiento de rutina inadecuado, uso contrario al de
las instrucciones de funcionamiento, desarmado, reparación o alteración a cargo de
personas que no sean miembros del personal calicado de SENSIO Inc. Asimismo, la
garantía no cubre actos de la naturaleza, como incendios, inundaciones, huracanes o
tornados.

SENSIO Inc. no asumirá responsabilidad por daños incidentales o resultantes
ocasionados por la violación de cualquier garantía expresa o implícita. Salvo en
la medida en que lo prohíban las leyes aplicables, cualquier garantía implícita de
comerciabilidad o aptitud para un propósito particular se limita temporalmente a la
duración de la garantía. Algunos estados, provincias o jurisdicciones no permiten la
exclusión ni la limitación de daños incidentales o resultantes, o limitaciones sobre
la duración de una garantía implícita y, por lo tanto, es posible que las exclusiones o
limitaciones mencionadas no le correspondan. La garantía cubre derechos legales
